"Holy shit." Sunny says aloud panting as she dashes away from the monstrous stakatakas that initiated a chase. Quickly outpacing the rest of the group, sunny finds herself in the lead. The booming lightning strikes provide a flash of light into the dark world as she heads towards the original destination: abandoned power stations.

Looking over her shoulder to see how the rest of the group was doing the first thing she notices is that the number of stakatakas chasing them had increased. Softly cursing under her breath, Sunny knew it'd be to risky to let them follow all the way to the power stations - they had to take of them here and now.

She stops, turning to face them and tosses out a pokeball. Out of all her pokemon, a tap-dancing mr.rime makes his appearance on the stormy battle field. " hypnosis!" Mr.rime movements would steadily become stranger his cane leading the stakatakas into a dream.

It wouldn't be enough to defeat them, but she was aiming to buy some time. Some of the pursuing stakataka slowly succumbed to slumber, there were a few that didn't seem affected.

it was surprising to see how lively the town was. Sunny wasn't sure how people would react to the aftermath of the Meteoroid but seeing this lively town soothed her fears. "sounds good, I sure hope you know where to go~" Sunny sneaks in a soft tease amongst a toothy grin.

She took a moment to process that Remiel wanted to hold hands. It felt a little strange to do so, but deep down she desired for it. Her heart slowly begins to flutter as she reaches for his tender hands, before Sunny realized it her hand was in the gentle grasp of the ambassadors. His hands felt soft and warm, they felt exactly like what she imagined clouds to be like.

Her heart flutters faster as they walked through town. Sunny's mind race with thoughts as to why she could feel so happy with someone she met just today. she convinces herself that the hand holding didn't mean anything special to Remiel - that it was just a kind gesture. Eventually Remiel leads her to a street that was lined up with various restaurants, the delicious aroma of food spilling all the way to the streets it was enough to get Sunny's stomach to rumble again.

"is the steakhouse around here?" she asks curiously figuring it would make sense for it to be here. Being able to share this moment with Remiel felt so incredible - it was a memory she would treasure for eternity.

"Oh my goodness!" Sunny squeals with delight as the cetoodle waddles over towards her looking for affection. She happily obliges giving the cutie lots of pats and scratches before he plops himself onto the snow and begins to dig at it with his flippers. "You're so silly!" she giggles with a warm smile.

Sunny's eyes light up when Cian praises excadril. "One of mine too! I just hope I'll be able to train and take care of
her properly." she scratches her cheek and gives a slight shrug, sunny knew that she needed to improve her training hopefully she could do so with all these new lovely friends she has now.


her stomach suddenly rumbles and sunny pats it with her hand. Pulling out some premium kalosian dark chocolate from her coat pocket. She fiddles with the wrapper as it was a struggle to try open it with gloved hands. "do you like chocolate? if you'd like you can have half." Sunny offers extending the chocolate bar towards cian for him to break off if he wanted it.

a passing by glalie noticed the chocolate bar, within a flash the pokemon zipped over and looked at sunny with it's massive pleading eyes giving her one of the most persuading looks she's ever seen.

"Well.. you can't have chocolate but I do have this!" pulling out a berry and offering it to the glalie. It happily accepts the offer and smiles brightly at sunny after gobbling the berry whole. "you're so cute. would you like to come along?" she extends a pokeball at it waiting for it's answer.

The giant huntail was incredible yet horrifying. It's life was proof of the many mysteries that laid hidden within our worlds. Sunny's swampert guided her to a safe distance - utilizing a bubble beam to divert the path of some pesky chasers. She then directs her full focus onto the threat

"Hydro pump!" Her swampert charges up a large volume of water and at it's peak shoots it towards the huntail at full power. Sunny was lucky to be surrounded by such capable people - she definitely wouldn't be able to handle this alone.

Once they exit the forest sunny could feel her stomach rumbling. their adventure had caused her to build quite an appetite and frankly she was ready to eat anything and everything. Her attention shifts to the ambassador as he begins to inquire about a nearby steakhouse, just the mention of it caused her stomach to audibly growl.

"Nope, haven't heard of it. It does sound delicious though! i'd love to try it out with you." She chuckles hopeful that Remiel wasn't hearing the uproar her stomach was causing. Sunny notices Remiel's stare another blush manifests and a hand rubs the side of her face. As she began to wonder if there was something stuck on her face that she wasn't aware of.

it didn't take very long to make their way into town. she begins to look around hoping to find it on a whim "so which way is it..?" turning to ask Remiel sunny finds herself looking him in his deep blue eyes. she's mesmerized by them a mysterious sensation pulling at her making it almost impossible to pull away.

Looking at them reminded her of the oceans their secrets tucked away deep inside.

"Is that so, well i'm looking forwards to it!" never having the chance to visit any restaurant in the vicinity Sunny's eager to try one out with the ambassador. With remiel agreeing to follow the nacli, the pokemon showed them the way to a hidden area of the forest.

They found themselves in the middle of a clearing: surrounded by the lush forest and wild pokemon as they scampered about enjoying the simplicities of life. she could even hear the distant roar of a nearby waterfall, Sunny figured that if they explored a little further they would uncover more secrets, but they should save that adventure for another day.

Spotting the nacli's family nearby she waved the small rock type goodbye watching the happy reunion with a smile. Sunny then turns back towards Remiel, a hand rubbing her stomach.

"Okay, I think it's time for some dinner!" she states with a hearty chuckle, departing the forest with it's hidden secrets together.

A breath of relief flows from Sunny's lips once Remiel safely gets away from the scovillain. His dracovish overpowers the sleeping scovillain
without any issues. "Oh no need to thank me, I'm just so relieved that no one got hurt." She responds with a gentle smile. Sunny looks towards her mr.rime who proudly flashes her trainer a victory peace sign before returning to his pokeball.

With the ambassador's suggestion Sunny gives a affirmative nod, pulling out a special pokeball that was issued to rangers. "Yep! I'll bring it to headquarters and they'll analyze the pokemon further before releasing it." Sunny informs using the pokeball to capture the scovillain for the time being.

The invitation to dinner was unexpected, but sunny was delighted that Remiel had offered to invite her to a such an occasion. "I would love too! Where were you thinking of going?" She questions curiously; finding her heart was fluttering with every beat. Her emotion's could easily be red as her cheeks flushed red while awaiting his response.

Her attention shifts to the nacli as the rock-type squirms in her arms, comforted by the ambassador's affectionate pets. "Oh right, wait a sec Nacli and I'll heal you right up." Sunny briefly puts the nacli on the ground and grabs a potion for the rock-type. She then promptly applies the potion onto it's injuries, the nacli squirms a bit due to the pain but the treatment finished quickly. "All better now!" Sunny states happily a smile forming to see the recovered nacli bounding around gratefully.

Nacli waited for the pair by the dirt path, almost waiting for them to follow. "Oh Remiel, can dinner wait a little longer? I think Nacli wants us to follow it."

Sunny was impressed with how Remiel knew so much about Paldean pokemon, although it wasn't to surprising he was the ambassador after all. Her eyebrows furrow when Remiel examines the pokemon, leaving sunny to wonder what sort of pokemon could inflict such injuries. The pondering wouldn't last long, as the pokemon in question would make it's appearance.

From there the situation quickly unfolded to be a dangerous one. Sunny quickly follow's Remiel's instructions picking up the Nacli and making a dash for safety. Eyes widen as she helplessly watches her swampert K'OD by a very powerful seed bomb, sunny rushes to her pokemon's side to check up on him.

However upon seeing that Remiel and his meowth were in danger, sunny was swift to act. Snatching a pokeball she fields her mr.rime who of course had to do his classic tap dance routine.

"Mr.Rime, use hypnosis!" Mr.rime quickly enacts the attack, lifting his cane and moving it strangely to induce the scovillian into a hypnosis trance. The move proved to have work as the frenzied pokemon slowly drifts off into a slumber, though sunny wasn't sure how long this would last for.

"Quickly now's your chance, counterattack!" She shouts over towards the ambassador hoping that the pokemon wouldn't wake up for some time. In the meanwhile she swiftly applies some first aide to her swampert before having him returned to the safety of his pokeball.

Once again Sunny is giddy with her successful capture, She holds the pokeball to the light before safely storing it away. she turns back to Cian to see what he was up to that's when she notices an extremely adorable pop up from the snow, Sunny couldn't help but squeal from how cute it was.

Her rotom dex comes flying out as Sunny wanted to know more about the pokemon Cian was trying to capture. Her rotomphone informs her that it was a cettoddle, Sunny can't help feel a little jealous at how he was able to catch one. "Now that's what I call a cutie, congrats!" She smiles towards him while beckoning for her rotomphone to return back into her pocket.

Sunny is alarmed when the snow beneath her begins to rumble she also could hear the subtle sound of a 'drill' steadily becoming louder. Startled when an excadrill pops out from the ground nearby, the pokemon screeches aggressively clearly looking for a battle. Sunny responds by whipping out her pokeball which summons her treecko.

"Quickly Sage, use energy ball!" With a compliant nod the treecko begins to draw energy in the form of a green ball and then launches the sphere towards the excadrill. "Great job!" Sunny praises her treecko proceeding to toss a pokeball towards it to hopefully capture it.

His response was soothing to her heart. She's already told him this but sunny was truly lucky that wren was here to help put out the fire in oldale. She finds herself chuckling to his comment before answering "Oh not much, I think this was the most action we've had in awhile." She couldn't speak much on the subject as she was still relatively new, and Sunny has yet to involve herself with other parts of the region. "Oh I will for sure, don't hesitate to reach out either!" Getting ready to depart she gives a final nod when Wren mentions his injury.

"Good! make sure you get a good rest." She intended to do just that herself but first she just wanted to double check on the civilians, to see if they had any problems following the fire. Sunny waves Wren goodbye as she begins to head towards the direction of her headquarters. "See ya later, Wren! thanks for everything again!"

It was a total surprise. Sunny blinks a few times, she didn't expect to be in the presence of a total baby! Although Sunny really couldn't say much as she was in the corps for a month longer so they were both babies. There's a very brief moment where her expression turns grim with the mention of PAA but it fades away in a flash, hopefully going unnoticed.

"I also didn't participate in PAA, but wow that's incredible! you're dream is coming to life isn't it!?" Sunny speaks with an excited sigh, she always enjoyed when people talked about their dreams she personally felt it was so exciting to discuss them. With genny's further explaination Sunny would come to a better understanding of what her goal was, she would pump her fists to excite genny. "Wow! I believe in you, you can totally do that! Always gotta aim for the stars right!" She asks with a challenging grin before laughing how Genny would ask if she's her senior.

"Oh please! I've been in the corps a little more than you have. I probably don't know much more than you, but if there's any questions you have I'll do my best to try and answer them. More importantly you can count on me to support you!" Sunny hopes that Genny could find some comfort in those words, even though she was still new she would try her best to guide her in whatever way possible.

A distant glowing figure catches her gaze and Sunny is quick to point it out towards genny. "Hey look! what do you think that is?"

Truthfully Sunny's never cared much for going on adventures. She's never seen the appeal to them, until this moment. While she didn't know the exact reason why her heart would skip a beat upon Remiel's agreement Sunny was thrilled to be able to share the experience with him. As it was a special moment she'd look back on with fond memories.
"Great! After all it's better being safe than sorry!" Sunny responds back fondly quickly following behind Remiel as he leads the way deeper into the forest.

As they venture further, Sunny is relatively surprised to find that other than the recent forest fire's - the forest seemed to be thriving and blooming with renewed life. It was interesting as she suspected that the meteoroid would destroy the surrounding area but it seemed to have a positive effect, which was a relief.

"Oh..! um I believe it's going to be five months next week, haha i'm still a newbie in the corps." Sunny had trouble recalling exactly how long it had been since she joined, as these past few months had been flying by she barely kept track. She nods to his other inquiry "I'm from petalburg! Before ranger work I worked at my grandma's daycare." Talking about her previous work brought a smile to Sunny's face.

Sunny's swampert traveled besides Remiel's pokemon, he had been observing his surroundings when nearby rustling caught his attention. A soft bark would cause sunny to turn her head towards her swampert. "Oh kip! did you discover something?" The swampert would nod in response his head pointing to the nearby brush. Curious as to what it was that her swampert discovered Sunny quickly rushed to his side, poking her head into the brush. she finds an injured Nacli hiding amongst the thorns - carefully pulling it outside the brush she shows it Remiel.

"Poor thing seems to be injured.. though I don't know exactly what it is.. do you have a clue remiel?" She only asks the ambassador figuring he had more knowledge on paldean pokemon, as he was the one who identified the tauros earlier.
