Her Mismagius had surely hit the mark with her Psychic attack. After two rounds of Swords Dance though, the male Riolu would be ordered to go in for the kill with Metal Claw. Given that she had seen prisoners die at the Prismatic Penitentiary, their cries of pained agony echo into her mind. Those were the things that she didn’t want to happen to any of her friends and family while they had been all imprisoned there…[break][break]

And not now, not when she’s training her Pokemon to be as strong as they can be from the aftermath.[break][break]

“Please don’t!” The princess is afraid now. Maybe she has misunderstood what the man said just now, but she definitely didn’t want to lose her cherished partner through a training session, an easy one at that. “I will not allow killing under any circumstances whatsoever!”[break][break]

The Mismagius moves out of the Metal Claw’s way and stops. Mana floats over to comfort the shaking Galarian royal. “I am…I am okay, don't worry.” Elise had said the words over to her concerned ghost.[break][break]

But like a good princess, the one that tries her hardest to lead her people in this mask, she ends up hiding her fear.[break][break]

When Shinobu’s Riolu side steps around the Thunderbolt, there would be no doubt that the opponent was smaller than her Mismagius was. Small size meant that the Riolu would be able to avoid anything that the ghost threw at him. “Keep at it, don’t let him best you in ranged combat.” She calls out to her ghost since her witch-like ghost would have to be fast about having her moves make its mark onto the little fighting type.[break][break]

Yellow eyes from the Mismagius glow blue as she tries to do a Psychic blast of energy aimed at hitting the nimble Riolu. If Elise wanted to make it to being gym leader at some point, she’ll have to get stronger in Pokemon battling and given that one of her friends graduated to that spot, it had made her want to work harder and make her boss, the Mauville gym leader, proud too as Mauville gym’s representing gym trainer. [break][break]

Petalburg Woods had seen better days than when it was affected by the blight. It had been a long while since she had gone to check on how it’s doing and she imagined that her friend, Shalin, was seeing to its recovery. She wanted to train Charles more since the Calyrex hadn’t battled much and only had to do his role of being an on site medic for the rest of her Pokemon. [break][break]

His healing powers had come in handy in treating wild Pokemon too.[break][break]

She had come here to let her Calyrex explore the woods if he wanted. The legendary bountiful king was a Pokemon attuned to nature, he was so excited to come here that his bushy tail starts to wag. Elise herself wanted to catch some other Pokemon to help her teams’ numbers, maybe there would be another Pokemon that her Calyrex can train with too.[break][break]

Your Honor was probably the wrong title that people would call a judge, but not one that was an ambassador to her country and its princess. “I think Your Honor is what you call a judge.” She corrects Shinobu on that since she isn’t from a judicial job or even the mayor of the city. “As I am only a foreign ambassador, either Your Excellency or Your Highness will be fine.”[break][break]

Yellow eyes from the Mismagius watch the Riolu take the first move. He starts with a Swords Dance, an interesting one considering that it raises Renji’s attack power. “Mana, let’s show them that my minor league gym isn’t for show too.” Elise spoke to her female ghostly partner. “Thunderbolt now!” [break][break]

Being quick to follow her mistress’ command, the Mismagius cackles and conjures a Thunderbolt from the glowing yellow gems onto her robe’s chest. That bolt would shoot straight at Renji![break][break]

Those Tera Crystals needed to given over to the League itself for their research…[break][break]

“Well, I will have to meet you in battle then.” The Galarian royal spoke while the man’s Obstagoon was summoned in order to deal with the male Calyrex. “Charles, deal with the intruder as well.” With the noble king, one that rules over bountiful harvests, meets the Obstagoon and protects the princess, he doesn’t have to wait on her order.[break][break]

An Energy Ball shoots forward from the shard of Calyrex which aims to meet the Obstagoon’s Take Down head first.[break][break]

She takes the lead out of the muncipal library and getting the three books to borrow for more reading at her Lilycove home before she’ll walk back to the embassy’s grounds. There, she unlocks the door to a little training area which was a garden behind steel gates. Her shard of Calyrex follows after the diplomat when she takes her place on the field just as Shinobu sends out his Riolu. She does think the small fighting type was raring to go too.[break][break]

“For the first Pokemon I’ll send out…” Elise takes out a Moon Ball from her belt and presses the button to release her partner Pokemon, a floating Mismagius. “I will use my partner Pokemon here. Mana is one my stronger battlers since she has been with me the longest.” The royal diplomat hears a distinct cackle from her floating witch-like ghost. Charles is content to watch how battles were done from the female ghost.[break][break]

“I’ve almost forgotten, but did you want to take the first turn?” She asks the blonde man since she didn’t want to be rude and not ask if he’d like to.[break][break]

People had thought that her mother’s clan were divinely appointed from the gods themselves though. “T-Thank you, I am not sure that I would be a noble goddess among men since I am only a mortal princess of the United Kingdom of Galar.” Her face becomes flustered as she tries to keep herself calm. Elise had probably taken it at face value, something that other people had spoke about her when she talked with them. [break][break]

As Shinobu asks when they’ll be able to arrange a battle, the royal ambassador thinks briefly. “Well, if you wish to have a battle now, I can arrange that. I’ll have to borrow the books I have here from the library to take home to Lilycove.” Her hand reaches down to pet the head of the hare king when Charles feels the Cyndaquil sniff at him and scoot closer to his trainer. “My embassy should have a training facility around the building. I can unlock it since I’m done for today’s work with my appointments.”[break][break]

Hearing about his Riolu reminded her of her own. He was a little guy that liked to play around with her female Lucario. “Your Riolu loves battling, does he?” A small laugh came from the female ambassadress when she thinks his Riolu might grow stronger too. “My specialty is ghost type Pokemon and I train them when I can. It’s something I’ve inherited from my late mother’s bloodline since they are spirit mediums from Johto and can commune with ghost Pokemon. Maybe we can have Renji train against some of my ghosts.” [break][break]

Well, a fighting type Pokemon would normally have a disadvantage against the type. She learned that they did have other moves to deal with them. [break][break]

Charles feels a lick come from his leg and notices the female Cyndaquil sniffing at him. “Cro-rown?” He gives a small confused cry before the ambassador looks down at the Cyndaquil too. “Are you curious about Charles too, Jean? You’re such a silly Pokemon.” She giggles a little, a hark contrast to how she wanted to act professional before as a foreign diplomat to Hoenn. [break][break]

A Daschbun wags his tail when the brown dog Pokemon finds the ambassador and her shard Calyrex exploring the rest of the grassy route. However, the hare king takes the friendly bread-like dog to be a threat to the royal ambassador and Charles launches an Energy Ball at the wild Daschbun. With a howl of pain from the canine Pokemon, it snarls at the hare and leaps at the Calyrex with a Bite.[break][break]

Unfortunately for the canine, the Calyrex is swift. A Psychic attack from the Calyrex renders the fairy type canine unable to move and act. Taking a Dusk Ball from her pack, the royal ambassador tosses it at the Daschbun and lets it suck up the canine. Maybe it’ll get a good home since she already had her precious Fidough.[break][break]

Her cheeks grow a little red at his compliment over how excellent her medical work was. Colonel Sullivan was doing everything he could to teach her and she had a lot to do before she could get to his level of expertise. “Thank you, Shinobu for the compliment. I still have a long way, but I love learning about the body and how it works.” She replies to his remark. There was something admirable about the way that he really wanted to be a trainer for his Pokemon too.[break][break]

“If you really wanted, you can join the Hoennian military. I am sure they will appreciate your doctoral skills.” The diplomat nods before she turns a page on the book that she was holding, so that the Calyrex can read one of her favorite ghost stories from Johto. “Perhaps if I can use what I learned here in Hoenn, I can one day return to my country and help those who are still suffering or injured from the Darkest Day. It is my obligation as their princess to make sure they aren’t unhappy and feel well.” [break][break]

Seeing the treats being dropped for the Cyndaquil, the diplomat watches the fire shrew eat all of them while the small fire type while growling and snarling like a ravenous animal. She lets the Calyrex read the book and hears purring come from the female Cyndaquil as if the shrew was a small kitten. Elise probably didn’t remember if her own Cyndaquil made those noises, but hers was a bit timid and didn’t like to socialize much.[break][break]

The diplomat needed to step up her game and make sure that they can damage the thing. Her Tera Orb glows as the Sinistcha takes on a bright green jeweled appearance complete with the Grass Tera crown onto her head. Elise needs that power right now if they’re going to try and make it this round.[break][break]

“Tera Blast now!” As soon as her command reached the female Sinistcha, the blast that comes from the smaller matcha teapot Pokemon comes with all of her strength. Sparkles surround the Tera Blast as the grass type attack would hit the Bronzong for good damage. [break][break]
