Yes, she was much stronger than she was before. Remiel’s influence and the High King at the League’s Dyna Tree was what she had them to thank for their support. “I’ve been improving on myself from our last meeting and battle.” A reply came from the royal while the Calyrex’s Energy Ball is blocked by the Obstruct from the Obstagoon. It was a pity that the attack didn’t land when it would be.[break][break]

“Prepare to use another Energy Ball.” As she commands her shard legendary, the hare king’s bulbous head glows light green and he’ll send another Energy Ball hurling towards the man’s dark type. Elise doesn’t know what purpose the Rocket could want with the Tera Crystals, but the reason was the same with the League.[break][break]

Curiously, he mentioned something about avatar powers and Rocket had probably not kept tabs on what happened at the League’s Dyna Tree. “It is not honorable that I will start blasting you with them when we are having a proper Pokemon battle.” The Galarian royal responds to Kouji’s concern. A Seedot walks onto the small grassy path that they were on though the little grass type is on the side of the two. It didn’t want to block their path nor was it bothering both the ambassador and her Calyrex. Since the Seedot was a bit too busy in its own world to even take note of the human female and her Pokemon, Elise will direct her shard legendary to walk ahead of her while she caught up.[break][break]

She hoped that they’ll be able to find a Pokemon that her Calyrex can train with. Charles was a small prince, born to be the king that he’ll be in the future from the power of the League’s Calyrex.[break][break]

What was with Cottonee and their tendency to follow the ambassador? Elise had taken note of the female Cottonee that hops after her. It wanted to play though the Calyrex that floats near her appears to glare at the small sheep-like Pokemon like it was annoying the diplomat. Watching the Cottonee hop away from the ambassador, Elise thinks that the shard was a little protective of her. Maybe Charles had wanted to keep her safe from whatever other Pokemon might be caring for the young Pokemon.[break][break]

The princess continues to walk through the wooded area along with the Calyrex following after her.[break][break]

For a councilwoman who worked hard for the Hoennian people, Elise had the greater respect afforded to Freya. “I’ve seen how much you care for the people of Hoenn and…I’ve always believed that the Galarians do not trust me because of my aunt, the Queen, due to her actions on my country’s populace.” When she spoke of her troubles with her paternal aunt, her worries melt away while the shard of Calyrex gives her more of that comfort too in her arms. “Your leadership is what I admire most. I’d want to learn how I can effectively make better decisions for the well-being and happiness of my people, Councilwoman Morningstar.”[break][break]

Elise had her worse fears confirmed when both her people and the people of the Hoenn region will be imprisoned if they didn’t comply to the draft. Galarian immigrants will be unhappy with how they wouldn’t have more than three Pokemon out with them. When a crowd of people come to the Galarian Embassy for answers on why this notice was happening, she has her ghost Pokemon and Charles help with taking down more of the notices and replacing it with a notice from the embassy.[break][break]

The Galarian royal ambassador herself stands at the entrance of the embassy’s gates while confused people, both Hoennian and Galarian await her announcement. [break][break]

“I am sure that you have all noticed that war draft. It is an issue that this territory of Galar will not abide by and we are giving out our notices of my announcement to all of the towns and cities of Hoenn with the help of my Pokemon.” Elise had no trouble speaking in public now, she has changed because of the High King’s belief. “But I will make an announcement here and now: the latest terms of the war draft cannot and will not apply at the Galarian Embassy since the embassy is considered to be on Galarian soil and territory to the United Kingdom of Galar.”[break][break]

“Remiel Calcifet has intended to ask the League to leave the Royal Calcifet Draciary alone since it will be a shelter from the upcoming war. Shelter in the embassy will be provided for those who are going to be prosecuted from the war draft or should they also seek an alternative shelter from the war as well.” Nods came from the crowd while Elise bows her head. “That is all from me. We must not abide by it, no matter what.”[break][break]

Ever since Remiel Calcifet has left his post of Galarian Ambassador, the prince had been making a name for himself as an archaeologist. She’s glad that Remy got to do everything he wanted before he sunk into the politics of their country.[break][break]

And that responsibility fell to her now. Being a royal ambassador to a reconstructing, recovering country that is under the reign of the current Prime Minister and her aunt, the Queen. [break][break]

“I am here as requested, sir.” With royal dignity and attitude of a Galarian princess, she’d give a respectful curtsy as she speaks formally. “What purpose have you summoned me for?”[break][break]

She does feel terrible that the battle had to be paused because of her fear. At the very least, Shinobu tries to cheer her up about it. “It’s nice to know that someone else does understand.” All of the people in her ward had been in prison for so long that she feels like it’s a miracle they’re able to feel the air and sun again. “Other people that aren’t born into my position find it easy to form strong bonds with each other, but I have not had the easiest time to because I am royalty.”[break][break]

The royal ambassador recalls so many memories of people being afraid of her or outright intimidated by her. All because she bore the royal Calcifet surname and because they didn’t want to associate with royalty.[break][break]

His Riolu comes over to be scratched by his ears and she does it too after Shinobu has finished. “You are correct, it does cheer me up a little now.” A smile comes onto the face of the less than scared woman, she enjoyed having the chance to make friends with his Pokemon too.[break][break]

When Paxton asks if she had gotten rest after the events of being locked up in that prison, she gives out a long sigh. “Yes, I’ve gotten rest after those events at the penitentiary.” Trauma from hearing the death of a prisoner in their ward still makes her afraid of what’ll happen if she had gotten captured by Rocket again. Well, Rocket wouldn’t want to use her as bait again since they assumed Remiel didn’t care for his cousin.[break][break]

And Remiel thought the bait was a trap to lure him from hiding.[break][break]

“I thought so too. If there are preparations being made for something, I don’t know what it’ll entail.” The League’s Calyrex appeared to be watching how she progressed as a leader which was a thing she was improving on now. She puts a small worry in the back of her head while Charles takes the Pokemon treats from Paxton’s hand and eats them. As Paxton explains how Project Sapphire would love to take readings off of the legendary king, the research will help her learn more of the shard.[break][break]

She did feel the tensions rising when they both got back from the prison. “I felt the tension when I came back to work after I rested.” The diplomat spoke though she can’t help but feel that there will be a time that she has to prepare for the upcoming conflict. “And while the League’s Calyrex hasn’t chosen me as its Avatar, I’d like to think that it was testing me first. Apart from that, I...really think that Sheriff Navidson was worried about me becoming an Avatar...since he spoke of it being dangerous.”[break][break]

The hare king is the first to note the Mudkip that approaches the ambassador and Elise notices the blue aquatic Pokemon too. A woman that came to pick him up apologizes and hopes her Mudkip didn’t bother her. “Oh no, I don’t think your Mudkip bothered me much.” She’ll smile a little over how cute the Mudkip was since it reminded her of her own. “Were you also getting some books for yourself?” As she asks the other woman, her hand gets a volume of another slice of life manga that she’s sure her shard of Calyrex would like.[break][break]

“Before I forget, I should give you my introduction.” She does feel that she might have not given her name the couple of times that she talked to newer people. “My name is Elise Calcifet and this is my friend, Charles.” With her Pokemon’s introduction, the King of Bountiful Harvests gives a small regal bow as if he was a king addressing some new people before him.[break][break]

I have found them around League aligned buildings in Rustboro City as well. One of them was even slapped onto the embassy's wall as if they are defacing my country's territory. I'm very upset with the notice as it affects most of my staff, my secretary, and my personal guard. They are all civilians who carry their Pokemon with them and if Cadeyrn Osmond cannot have more than three Pokemon to protect me with, my security as Galar's royal ambassador will be compromised.[break][break]

The embassy's staff and my personal royal guard as the head of my security will not follow the notice. If they are jailed because of this, I will pay for their bail out of imprisonment. It is a grave mistake that will hurt more of my country's people that have immigrated here from Galar with their Pokemon. I want it to be reconsidered.

Her secretary, the rest of the staff, and even her bodyguard would be affected by the restriction and as Elise reads the notice, anger starts to bubble within the normally kind Galarian princess.[break][break]

“This is absurd… Who would think it is such a good idea?” She spoke of her exasperation while the shard of Calyrex turns to her to see what he could do. “Tear it down please. All of them.” With a silent nod, Charles has gotten to work with tearing down the posters with Psychic. The idea of being jailed for holding more than three was so ridiculous that she’d imagine it would negatively affect her own security as a political figure.[break][break]

Cadeyrn Osmond had loved his Pokemon around. She was pretty sure that her bodyguard wouldn’t like having less Pokemon to work with either.[break][break]

Elise had the day’s appontments done from the Galarian Embassy and she’ll handle the rest tomorrow. She had taken the advice that Alexei gave her a while back and had talked with her guard. He was her boyfriend, someone that she had been avoiding just because she was busy. The diplomat felt that he deserved to sit with her and talk about their feelings and whether he was still having something haunting him.[break][break]

During the day, the ambassador and her Calyrex shard spend time in going to the bookstore. She knows the section that had manga from Johto which Charles really liked to read. “You wanted to read the next Komi-san, didn’t you?” A small laugh came from the royal when she plucks a volume of the Komi-san Can’t Communicate manga from a shelf and he’ll reply with a happy “Cro-rown!”[break][break]
