The desert had a new threat: giant titans that roamed around the sands. Their group was tasked to get rid of the colossal Pokemon which appeared to be stronger than any Pokemon she’s ever faced. Luckily, her cousin and the two others that joined up with them would be helping to take on the job more easily. Her Sinistcha floats along with the royal diplomat while she addresses the group itself.[break][break]

“I am not sure if this titan is strong, but…” She thinks that the titan Pokemon could give them a run for their money if it’s strong enough to take them all. “We should be careful. I can have Sencha give you all some support.” Her shard Calyrex is left at the care of her ghosts back home in Lilycove, given that it would be a little too dangerous for the hare king to be engaging with titans.[break][break]

Remiel himself could have a few strategies over what the team should do when they’re face to face with the titan itself, so she trusted his strategies to share with the rest of the group.

Out of the four fighters, Josh looked the least ready for the battle. Dressed in his short-sleeved, blue Ranger uniform with white bandages running down his left arm, he was astride his Shiny Gogoat, holding just the grass-type's right steering horn. "Don't worry; once the action starts I'll slide off and let Nitro handle it himself," he assured his two friends and acquaintance.

"I just need to get used to riding with one arm. The war doesn't wait for anyone, after all. And this is... good practice." As threatening as the titan Pokémon was, the war would be far worse for him. Rocket would almost certainly be aiming for his bad arm. Razz Kingsman may have been right; as valuable as a Champion was, perhaps it really would have been better for him to sit these battles out. "I haven't gotten this far without knowing my limits. Now, let's go."

Elise follows paxton concordas’s order and gets into position along with the officer and his Florgres. The titan Pokemon shows itself from the desert sands and it prepares to battle any intruders that go on its territory. Looking up at the size of the steel and psychic type Pokemon, the Bronzong is a colossal one. Sencha floats over to the side of the ambassador and she awaits the order of her trainer. [break][break]

“Strength Sap now.” When Elise calls out her command to her Sinistcha, the floating grass and ghost type matcha tea pot Pokemon begins to sap the strength from the floating giant Pokemon. Though her health doesn’t need to be recovered, the sapping of the Bronzong’s attack should be good to have the rest of the group be protected from damage. [break][break]

"Josh, perhaps you stay back with us instead and trust your pokemon to battle while you're still ailing." Paxton recommended as the giant Bronzong began to levitate into the air, waves of sand falling off of it. [break][break]

Paxton had never been a front line fighter, and he wouldn't start now, already ready to TELEPORT to the nearest mesa to avoid any of the incoming damages. "He'll go just as fast on his own, and that's what matters here. It's not the war, where I have to fight from the saddle. Not yet."

With the Gogoat unburdened, he was ready to execute the plan the four had discussed. "Nitro, TRAILBLAZE!" With a war cry, the normally tranquil mount Pokémon lowered his horns and galloped toward the Bronzong with the speed Mauville Gym was known for, a freshly-cut path across the GRASSY TERRAIN materializing beneath his hooves. "This better work..." he muttered, staring intently as the Gogoat's gait increased in speed.

She still stays behind the officer and his Florges while her Sinistcha waits for her trainer’s order. “I think I’ll try and keep up the momentum.” A nod came from the royal ambassador since she would see that as a good moment to play into her shielding role. “Sencha, go with Mega Drain this time!” Elise calls out to her ghost when the Sinistcha attempts to drain the titanic Bronzong’s life. Boosted by Grassy Terrain, Mega Drain begins to slowly wrench the life out of the floating steel type Pokemon. Elise is thankful that her elder cousin’s move of having his Appletun use Leech Seed would help bring it down too.[break][break]

Mysterious power darkens the sky for a moment before it settled once more, stars twinkling over Josh's Gogoat. They managed to break the DYNERGY BARRIER, but the colossus still managed to blow them backward with the sheer force of its psychic power. In conjunction with Elise Calcifet and her SINISTCHA, Remiel orders his Appletun to try and sap the strength from the giant Bronzong with a GIGA DRAIN. This fails to shield them but manages to halt their enemy in its path.[BREAK][BREAK]

"On it!" Josh called out to Remiel Calcifet , wishing he could guide Nitro more precisely. Though he didn't wield a weapon of his own, what with his sword arm being so out of practice, the Champion knew how much of a load it took off the Pokémon when it could rely on a rider for directional control. Even so, Nitro was one of the Pokémon that saw him to a victory in the Champion Assessment. "Full speed! GRASSY GLIDE!"

Empowered by the GRASSY TERRAIN beneath it, on top of the clean path he was TRAILBLAZING before, the GRASSY GLIDE propelled the Gogoat to speeds rivaling a legendary Pokémon. Perhaps it was worth keeping these techniques rather than reverting his arsenal to the way it was before. A green cone formed around the grass-type from how fast he was going, even Josh flinching at the deafening noise of the impact...
