except that he's taking the job with mitch, who gets easily distracted, and takes a simple task like foggin' up a place and somehow makes it impossible to complete. for the time being, he just tosses out his weezing and makes a motion with his hand.[break][break]

confused, the weezing wheezes at him.[break][break]

"fuckin' smoke bro. damn."[break][break]

understanding only now what was asked of it, the weezing begins letting out smoke. the smoke surrounds the pokémon as it heads inside, filling the place with the thick foggy haze.[break][break]

"sometimes i wonder if two heads really are better than one, cause damn is that the slowest pokémon i got."[break][break]

like owner like pokémon, samuel carter would say. but he's not there so it's only lingering around in mitch's head, causing him to smirk. he looks to the robot and raises a brow.[break][break]

Being the rash son of a bitch he is, Mitch felt something bubble up into his chest. He wanted to punch something, but he couldn't. Instead, he just watched his drapion use hone calws while eyeing a passing KOFFING.[break][break]

A scoff. Mitch watched as the KOFFING's stench moved into the drapion's senses, causing her to shudder. She threw out a night slash in retaliation, nailing the KOFFING.[break][break]

"Yeah well," tossing a ball, he decided the mood for the safari was soured and he needed to go drink something. "Fuck that. I am doin' what I want."[break][break]

"...sure. I'm sending the information for the job now. You'll tell me if you want to do something else?"[break][break]

"Prolly not." Mitch admitted, beginning to light a cigarette and moving to hang the phone up.[break][break]

Like always, he'd pretend the conversation never happened; or drink enough to forget he even had the conversation to begin with.

The name, however, makes Mitch make a face. He probably couldn't repeat the name properly if he tried. He'd call the dude Sera for now... and that's when he saw the robo outfit, lookin' like somethin' outta Mortal Kombat. He could respect that. Except he couldn't respect it enough to get its name right, apparently.[break][break]

"I wasn't given a plan," he explains through his gas mask. "But I got enough smoke and smog ta cover yer ass while you go in and get out."[break][break]

At some point in the fray of things, drinks are being bought and mitchel kane had disappeared into the thick of it all. Really, he’s passing out illegal substances and spiking his own drinks while making eyes at anything he can see.[break][break]

But somehow, in some way, everybody seems to be with somebody else! Which, fuck that. Used to be that most people hated being with others and wanted to fuck whatever walked by.[break][break]

Sheyt. What’s a guy gotta do ta get some ass these days?[break][break]

During the night he’s been texting DAMIEN RUSSO on and off. It’s all short and probably doesn’t make a lot of sense. For the moment, he’s bored and the highs are coming and going while he gambles away most of the allowance samuel carter’s given him within a few seconds and becomes somebody’s baby for a bit longer.[break][break]

The food that’s offered made him wanna gag so he doesn’t bother getting any. Instead, he’s fucking around messing with people. Which earns him a right hook at one point the the can’t even remember if he deserved.[break][break]

Stumbling, he ends up in @elisa’s chest. Not that he knows that. At first he’s confused; so soft y’know? His head lifts up and his eyes meet hers; unfortunately hands find the softness and squeeze more than a few times.[break][break]

"sick dude," he tosses a ball at the gloom, beaming like an idiot before he's suddenly wiggling. the wiggling is due to a parasect suddenly coming out of the ground and making the ground unsteady. "yo, what the fuck?"[break][break]

he tumbles backwards and in retaliation, his drapion lets loose a cross poison. the STENCH from the gloom that's ticking away in mitch's capture attempt is starting to fade, that PLAGUE like smell finally fading away.[break][break]

with the parasect fallen and leaving them be, mitch gains his footing. he's not surprised when his phone buzzes. he arches a brow and answers it.[break][break]

"'ey sam- yea, petalburg woods." there's somebody on the other end speaking. mitch foots at the ball on the ground wiggling about before he glances at nikkari. "...uh, just nikki."[break][break]

after a few moments, a gardevoir belonging to samuel carter appears in a teleport. it bravely takes mitch's hand and mitch gives nikkari a salute as he hangs up. his drapion is returned and the pokémon he has captured are safely in his pc.[break][break]

"been fun, but i'm bein' summoned. later man."[break][break]

who the fuck knows why he got a text from pinkie 🎀, but he responds to it anyway. it's right before he lets drae go into the ring.[break][break]

it takes about fifteen minutes for her to win. when she does, mitch collects his winnings, downs a bottle of something stronger than he expected, then stumbles out of the building and toward the more populated area of the lower district. when he sees a head of pink, he raises his arm at her in greeting.[break][break]

"'eeeeey! it's pinkie pie! sup?"[break][break]

and cue the hiccup. the alcohol has poisoned his system but he doesn't care. his drapion greets the woman and her lucario with a rattle of her tail, keeping close enough for mitch to lean on her when he starts to sway.

"Anyway you got any new jobs lined up for me?" Mitch asked as he walked over and went to pick up a ball.[break][break]

"I do," Sam began, and as he began his story, a MORPEKO came out from some bushes lookin' hella HANGRY and stealing the safari ball.[break][break]

"Hey you little shit—"[break][break]

As he began chasing the morpeko around to get his ball back, Sam just droned on about the next job.[break][break]

"There's a contact I need you to meet with. They'll have a large shipment that needs to make it to the docks. Secure the transaction."[break][break]

By the end of the droning, Mitch had grabbed the morpeko by the neck and strangled it before bunting it over to his drapion, who used a cross poison on the little shit. As Mitch stood over it and gloated, a ball fell out of his pocket and it bapped the morepeko, proceeding to capture the unconscious rat.[break][break]

"Fuck!"[break][break]

"It's not that difficult a mission."[break][break]

"Uh..." had Sam told him something? Shit, he hadn't been listening. "Yeah, just send me the details like usual I'll get it figured out."[break][break]

"Try not to fuck this one up, it's a large shipment."[break][break]

Mitch picked up the morpeko's ball and made a face at it. "No problem..."
