Kouji sighed at that answer, so it was the same both ways; not like it really mattered as the women came from all sides, the room began to fill up more and more. The unown came out, and it wasn’t the only place from which they could come from.

Drk Triad, they and their unowns, Kouji had no choice but to call for his pokemon, sending out his Samurott once more, the pokemon let out a roar as it attacked in return, sending out slashes from his horn; sharpened, they sliced, but in return hidden powers came, again and again, first his pokemon was sucked into another realm, and he soon found himself being sucked into another place just as well.

Eventually, throughout the battle, each of you are struck by an Unown's HIDDEN POWER, causing you to warp away into another location entirely.

”On the plus side, it can’t get any worse than last time.” His voice was filled with sarcasm as he spoke it, he knew that it could, anything could get worse. But he was more confident in himself, so it was just about time to go bring it tumbling back down.

The inside of this place never really changed, as far as he knew, it always stayed the same, fixed, as if playing the same story every time. The only things that tended to shift, were the actors, them.

He wondered what the researchers made of such a thing, what it could mean to them, because to him.

The world that formed was that of a cabal, a singular white haired lady that stood before them, and the question that she asked. He’d been here before, he’d heard this very same question, but there was one singular truth to Kouji Matsubara.

As Kouji coughed and sat up, phantom water, the phantom remnants of him drowning, of the horrible state of affairs. He recalled Iron Jugulis back into its pokeball the moment he felt even a little more cognizant.

”We got destroyed.”

Again.

Kouji stood up, and dusted himself off, a few more coughs escaped his mouth, he wanted to be done with the day, just eat, and go train. ”What do you say to a few rounds in the training room after we finish up here.”

He had a lot of aggression, and Hitoshi was strong enough, more than strong enough for a good fight.

”I can’t be satisfied with that result.”

With a pretty big name, he wasn’t sure whether it was a relative or not, but then again he had no intention of acting differently either. Higher or lower, Kouji was far too casual for that, even for his own good. He had begun to fix that little issue in recent times, but there was a bigger goal at play in that case.

”Victoria, yeah?” He asked as he half turned his head, looking at her over his shoulder; they stood at the bottom of this road, in a small little crevice. Supposedly, their information had told them their mark was somewhere in this area, whether he truly was or not, well…

It wasn’t really his problem now, was it?

”Hope you’re not squeamish.” There was a tint of sarcasm to his voice, a small smirk before he turned back around, to keep his eyes to the road and path ahead, to wait for that person to drop by.

It really was a stupid plot, wasn’t it?

But saying it aloud for the fourth time was even beneath him, so he considered against it, instead watching it as if it were the best thing in the world; eyes locked to the screen, the soundtrack was worthwhile.

”Pokestar studios sure ain’t what it used to be, guess they pissed away all their money tryna come up with good fake pokemon.” The phenomena of fakemons was indeed cringe, but T.V had to be fantastical, and strange. Who knew that’d fall so flat in a world where monstrously powerful creatures could be curled up right next to your feet.

”Seems lame, waiting that long for a single scene. Especially if the next movie’s gonna be as bad as this one, at least it has a good sou-” He coughed aloud to interrupt himself.

”An alright soundtrack, idol’s are way too overrated. Just look at that Melody Miro, overrated. Her latest album was absolutely middle of the road. Should have called it Mid Melody.”

Kouji barely had any mental room to pay attention to the struggle that Hitoshi was feeling, he had his own things to be worried about as a gust of air almost blew him off the ship. He didn’t have the mental room, nor time to answer a question.

As his Iron Jugulis turned around to look at him, almost as if to aid him, but it had been struck by a large bolt of lightening instead, one that seemed to cause the air itself to warble, and shake; the ship further cracked apart, and Kouji found himself being flung into the sea.

Were they really going to lose again?

This was a cruel fiction, he really couldn’t grasp just what the point behind this one was, who were the people behind this?

And so Kouji fell into the ocean, to sink beneath the depths, there was no real time to think of exiting, but a part of his brain had managed to clock into that option, just enough for him to leave it.

It was an underhanded question, his tone dripped with sarcasm, wondering whether the man even remembered what had gone on then. Those people he could deal with, but then again, he was a proper professional, he couldn’t really be childish in this case.

Seems like absolute garbage.” Instead, he used a word he otherwise would never have used to cover for himself, his eyebrows rose up as if challenging it.
