She's busy with her papers, cramped by sitting beside him instead of using her own desk but she'll manage. "Yup." she nods, confirming for him that that is indeed what she just said. "Me and the housekeeper are usually the only ones around, more than enough room for you too."

If he's digging for something she either doesn't catch on or is ignoring it. "Well and the pokemon of course." she takes a moment away from her work to grab the sticky note again, adding a couple more pokmeon to the party, complete with confetti and hats before sticking it back to his computer screen, this time in the corner and out of the way.

There's a subtle sort of expectancy when she looks back up at him, waiting for his to brush her off which is what she's anticipating.

"I tend not to." her smile is warm and she's quick to accept his version of what she is wearing. 'Cozy' is an interesting choice when really she's boiling in the warmth of summer. "No skin cancer for me at least." she throws at a wink, a playful way of playing it off so that people avoid the topic. She'd rather they think her neurotic about her health than find out the truth.

She turns her head in the direction she was headed at his question. How best to put it? Mildly vague. "I'm here to visit an old friend of mine. Sadly now is one of the few chances I get to make it out here and see them." it was a rather important visit actually, but the individual often kept her waiting they could deal with a little but of their own medicine.

"And what are you doing out here Jomei?" there's a slight tilt of her head, like a doll on puppet strings.

"I am." how much so is up to debate but that's only because she so much has been happening that it seems there is always more that needs to be done lately.

the subject is quickly dropped however as she doesn't want to allow something to slip. Normally she can watch herself with important things but something about Alexei makes it easy to tell him things,s he feels far more likely to blurt things out around him.

Isra leans in and sniffs at the fried item he's buying. She wonders how her manages to always find these things no matter where they go. She's pretty sure she's never seen him without something to snack on like this. She sneaks one out of the serving he's just bought and bites into it, contemplating how she feels about it as a food item while he talks. She shrugs in response to his little story, it almost seems callous but its not in Isra to be that sort of rude. "Some pokemon just aren't to be ridden, no matter their species."

And then he hits the nail on the head as to why she won't join. "I know. But most people aren't trained in it they're winging it."

She snatches another bite and scarfs it down before continuing, nonchalantly. As if this is matter of fact. "I might wear dresses and heals and act like a lady most the time Alexei but I was an unruly child that hated to sit still, my mother had to find some way to keep me entertained. Swords were one of those things. Once I was old enough for it of course." it wasn't quite the whole story but it wasn't a lie either. Isra was one of those children that learned to run before they walked as a toddler and had never stopped since. Given the time and the chance she's concerned skillset after skill set in her spare time. If it could be taught to her she delved head first into it even as a child. "I learned other stuff too, but I actually know how to wield a sword. That makes it different if I join."

"We should go to the jousting."

She grabs him by the wrist and starts dragging him towards it, today she's feeling like the self she hides behind the dress and the proper face. The lace is gone and the rough and tumble girl she hides deep bellow is saying hello and worst of all she's excited and Alexei isbound to get caught up in her hurricane.

The noivern dives from above them, something Isra has become used to. The pokemon is ruthless and tireless seeks out opponents in the night sky and on the ground alike during their flights as if any one of them could be her last.

She taps her dragon's side and he shifts in the air, seeking to follow his partner through the skies to see what her quarry is tonight. In many cases it works in their favor.

What they find is a wild pokemon already on the defensive but it catches her attention. The wide guard and mirror coat is effective enough against her pokemon's ruthlessness but it doesn't stop her, if anything Sohpia is pissed that it hit her back to easily and is quick to reposition herself, going in close with her agility and whipping up a hurricane the pokemon is quickly lost in.

When it quiets Isra throws a pokeball, her bat dragon returns to her side with pleased nuzzle at her hand.

Surprisingly fishing is something Isra has actually done before though it has been quite awhile.

Perhaps that is what draws her to the little fishing pool. It's silly and nonsensical but she can test and she if she's still got a knack for it anyway. Maybe she'll actually go fishing after this.

Like many things that do not make sense to her this one is totally bizarre but having not tried it she figures she might as well- so she shakes a bottle that has somehow wound up in her possession just to see.
