"Thea would have been so helpful! I bet she could carry all of these bugs by herself." He laughed as they dropped the little Pokémon off under a shady tree to nap the day away. "Umlaut is a pretty cool Pokémon, where did you get him?" Hopefully Cass would share the catching story (if there was one).[break][break]
Regardless, Cass always had fun Pokémon.[break][break]
"We should probably take the berries away so they don't tempt other Pokémon and then we can fix up the garden." Knight suggested as they headed back towards the garden together. He picked up a basket near the entrance and went over to see the berries his friend had saved, "You did a great job too." He complimented Jon as he crouched to add the good berries to the basket.[break][break]
He stood and nodded to Cass, "To the Canteen! Lettle, can you stay here and keep an eye on things while we are gone?" The Cottonee was more than happy to be on guard duty as she floated lazily around the berry trees.

He nodded as Thomas gave some advice about his Mudsdale, "I hadn't really thought about evolving him but right now he helps out with my patch at the Berry Garden. He has this cool move called Rototiller and zoom, he can prepare the soil quick, fast! It's so cool!" Knight beamed.[break][break]
As this guy talked about his time spent in Kanto and his love of ranching, Knight's eyes sparkled more and more, "Woah... You're totally awesome! I bet you have lots of amazing Pokémon too!" Yup, this guy was a good person. Kay could tell! [break][break]
"I will definitely come to visit your ranch some day soon. I want to see it in person!" Knight exclaimed, and Fitzwilliam watch his owner with an unamused expression. Chani didn't seem too bothered by Knight's reactions or high energy and continued with her training, "Do you have any Pokémon Badges too? I was thinking about challenging some gyms once I improve as a trainer."

Knight was more than happy to talk about all the cool Rangers he had met but this time he'd just talk about Loot Guard (Lutgarde), "Their name is Loot Guard, they have a really cool Sylveon and we helped a farmer together and Loot Guard got a really cool Rapidash!" Knight's eyes seemed to sparkle as they talked about it.[break][break]
But right now the Mantyke was more important. He looked at the Pokémon as it struggled to get out of the rock pool and nodded, "Yeah, maybe we should help it out. I'll take that side!" He moved around the rock pool and the Florges (along with Percy), finally paid attention to what was happening. The fairy type watched Knight with interest.

He couldn't believe he had managed to win! Knight found himself swept up in a bear hug from his cousin, his feet leaving the ground as she showed off her strength and he let out a laugh, "Thank you! But I had a very good teacher." He took his chance and ruffled his cousin's hair as best as he could manage.[break][break]
Bau swarmed Hammy and did some kind of group hug with their friend, which was very cute to see. Baudelaire didn't mind about winning, they had fun with Hammy and that was the most important thing! They turned to watch the other pairs finish sparring as well,[break][break]
Knight gave Gominha a thumbs up for doing well but soon Zeus and Hercules had drawn his attention, "Woah, they're taking this very seriously -- be careful!" He warned as Thea stepped in to call an end to the sparring session.[break][break]
He was glad to see Herc obey but he could tell the Pignite was very reluctant to agree to a tie with the Primeape. Somehow, it all seemed personal with them... He gave Thea and Zeus a hasty bow but added a cheeky oink in Zeus' direction too.[break][break]
Key moved to stand next to Hercules and gave his cousin a smile, "What do we get to do next? Seems like everyone is enjoying our training session so far!"

Knight was more than happy to let Loot Guard take over and it was amazing to see the Ranger work their magic. It didn't take long for the Mandibuzz to be convinced to follow Knight on the back of Moiraine. His Pelipper seemed to communicate with the Mandibuzz somehow too and Knight wondered what it was about -- but he didn't have to wait too long.[break][break]
Moiraine flew up to the Mandibuzz nest and a Vullaby was transferred into the Pelipper's beck. Kay knew, vaguely, that Pelipper were trusted to carry small Pokémon and babies like that so he quickly understood what was happening. [break][break]
He turned to Loot Guard and grinned at the Ranger, even flashing a thumbs up, "We'll see you there!" Knight mounted Moiraine and took to the skies with the Mandibuzz following closely[break][break]
The Vullaby seemed to really enjoy travelling like this and Knight made sure he didn't go too high or too fast for the comfort of everyone (and everymon) involved. They probably took ten minutes to make it to the new location, and Kay was careful to navigate mum and baby to the new location.[break][break]
It didn't take long for the Mandibuzz to inspect everything and Knight dismounted Moiraine, letting the Pelipper carry the baby up to see the new home as well and he waited for Loot Guard to show up. So far it seemed like this was going to work!

Knight didn't mind the affection attack at all, and lovingly gave the Wigglytuff pets and smooches in return. They probably were a funny sight for other tourists or residents of Dewford.[break][break]
He liked the reaction he got for the sunglasses and caught the pair from Cass, "Oh these are for me aaaaand... Gominha, would you like some Luvdisc glasses?" He thought the pink would compliment her well (and was totally willing to buy them if she wanted them).[break][break]
"I think we should all get some sunglasses!" Knight announced as he tried to find something Cass would like, maybe Alolan Grimer glasses? And what about Thea? Hmm, the Lopunny ones were pretty neat![break][break]
Fitzwilliam saw his chance and hung about outside with Del and Zeus. In his opinion, those two were sensible and not bad company at all -- not that the Farfetch'd was that social to begin with.

A scream awoke Knight from a very, deep slumber. He rolled over with a flail, assuming the screaming had to be Thea and promptly fell out of his bed. Ouch. "Wah-- Are we late for school? Did I miss breakfast? Is the Dojo on fire?" Knight grumbled as he tried to sit up and rub his eyes. Only, he couldn't feel his eyes. Just something in the way.[break][break]
"Oh." It dawned on Knight that he wasn't at home. This wasn't a place he had been to before. With a wheezy cough, he got to his feet and looked around. There were two other people in the room with him and Knight quickly realised it was Thea screaming and Cass was comforting her.[break][break]
He rushed over to them both and crouched down, "Hey, Thea. Deep breaths. In, hold, out. In, hold, out." He coached his cousin and was thankful Cass had been awake to help her. [break][break]
Knight tried to assess the situation but he was mostly focused on his cousin. Once Thea was calmed down and feeling somewhat better, Knight could try to figure out what was going on. It sounded like there were more people here but Knight couldn't see anyone else and wondered if they were trapped in their own little rooms like this one.[break][break]

It wasn't long before they came across another Pokémon -- this one stumbled across the path in front of them, and Knight let out a gasp of surprise. A Brionne![break][break]
"We gotta catch that one! Quick, Elizabeth, use Cut!" The Brionne clearly hadn't been expecting another Pokémon to attack and was wholly caught off guard by the Farfetch'd charging to swipe with her leek. [break][break]
Brionne used Growl but Elizabeth was unfazed, "Finish with Peck!" Knight didn't want to hurt the Brionne too much but making it weak enough to catch was important. Elizabeth landed the hit and the Brionne let out a soft cry, clearly unable to fight back, "Sorry!" Knight did feel bad about the situation but tossed a Premier ball at the water type.[break][break]
It would make a good addition to his growing collection!

A few steps later and there was a weird sound -- of something hitting wood. Knight frowned and ducked off the path with his ducks (ha) to see what it was and soon spotted the source.[break][break]
A Scizor was punching a tree...[break][break]
Was that some kind of training move or was it trying to attack a Pokémon up the tree or what? Knight was going to sneak off again (since the Scizor seemed to be in a bad mood already) but Elizabeth had other ideas.[break][break]
She darted from their hiding spot and decided to whack the Scizor with her leek, landing a Cut soon after. Knight yelped and followed after her, with Fitzwilliam in tow, "Elizabeth! No! What are you--" The Scizor didn't take kindly to the little duck attacking and struck back with Fury Cutter![break][break]
"Elizabeth, dodge with Agility and then follow up with Aerial Ace!" Knight was impressed by how fast his Pokémon was and the Scizor didn't seem to stand a chance either. No matter how many times he tried to strike the Farfetch'd, she simply dodged out of the way. Fitzwilliam watched the fight unfold but didn't seem to react much.[break][break]
Knight didn't plan to catch the Scizor, but he couldn't help but cheer when Elizabeth finally took it down with another Cut. She marched back over to Knight and Fitzwilliam, pleased with herself. Knight laughed and picked up the Farfetch'd for a quick hug, "Okay you're amazing, but please don't scare me like that again. Isn't she awesome, Fitz?" His other Farfetch'd merely snorted and marched back to the path.[break][break]
While he did feel bad for the Scizor, Knight hurried back with his 'mons and continued on his way.

Feeling restless, Knight had left his homework behind and decided to go for a little jaunt with his Pokémon instead. Staying indoors when the weather was pretty nice just made Kay feel trapped, he wouldn't be able to focus on anything until he was outside and enjoying himself.[break][break]
He knew it was just putting off the inevitable and he'd have to go back and finish his homework before bedtime but... Well, for now he was happily marching down the path with his Farfetch'd Fitzwilliam and Elizabeth on either side of him.[break][break]
"You know, there are supposed to be bug and water types around here. Do you think we will run into something fun? Something scary? Something worth catching?" Knight mused aloud, and neither 'mon really reacted. Fitzwilliam was busy marching and Elizabeth was trying to catch his eye. It was cute to see but Kay hadn't noticed it yet.
