"I promise!" Knight said earnestly to his cousin. He didn't know why or how he had fainted but surely it wasn't anything serious? If he thought about it, his cough had disappeared for now too... Hm.[break][break]
Kay laughed when Thea mentioned calling her (or his uncle), since his phone was broken and he hadn't a clue if he had it with him on this trip or not. But he didn't want to worry her so he just nodded, "I'll be sure to do that next time, sorry again."[break][break]
Fitzwilliam gave him A Look but didn't do anything else, marching off to one side to keep watch and make sure no weird villagers or toxic chain Pokémon appeared until they were ready to move.[break][break]
Knight nodded as Thea spoke and followed alongside her. He crouched a little, making some effort to be sneaky, "I saw those, yeah. I don't think any of them touched me but maybe there's something in the air...?" In which case, they would need to cover their mouths and noses. Knight didn't have anything suitable but pulled his t-shirt up to cover his face. They came to an intersection of paths, "Which way is it to the Pension?"

Knight flexed his equally noodle-y arms and grinned at Cass, "We got this." [break][break]
He took out two berries of his own, offering one to Lettle and one to Umlaut as a thank-you for helping out. Once he had done that, Knight led Cass over to the sleeping 'mons, "At least they're tiny." As if that helped with how many there were to carry. [break][break]
Picking out a few of the smallest bugs, Knight offered them to Cass to carry, "Think you can manage these?" He wasn't trying to be rude but to make sure he wasn't giving her too much to carry.[break][break]
The Bugs leftover were picked up by Knight and he hugged them to his chest. Each of them slept soundly (honk shoo and honk mimimi) which Knight gave both Lettle and Umlaut a grateful smile.

Knight's Pokémon had varying degrees of interest in the Ranger and his Cinderace -- Elizabeth and Sissix were the most interested, then Ead (who stayed closer to Knight due to some shyness) and finally Percy had caught sight of his reflection in a rock pool and was quite content to stare at it for a bit.[break][break]
"A Beach... Flog?" Kay tilted his head to the side, unsure of what that was or what it meant. Truthfully, since Knight was in the habit of breaking his phone so much, he just... Didn't do online stuff. He knew the internet existed but he just didn't look at it.[break][break]
Elizabeth poked Loki with her Leek, which Knight assumed was her being playful, while Sissix wanted to race the 'mon around for a bit.

"Woah! Isn't the weather great today?" Knight cheered as he raced towards the beach with his 'mons in tow. Today, he decided to bring some of his newly acquired Pokémon so he could bond with them. "Last one to the beach is a rotten egg!"[break][break]
Sissix, Elizabeth, Ead and Percy definitely took that as a challenge and somehow Knight found himself lagging behind his Pokemon, being the last at the water. He laughed and attempted to scoop everyone up in a big hug, "Fine, I'm rotten!"[break][break]
He set them down again and sat on the sand with a grin on his face, "Should we make a sand castle or something?" He looked around and then noticed someone nearby, clearly recording something on their Rotom Phone, "Woah!"[break][break]
Knight got up and didn't even bother dusting the sand off himself, approaching the stranger, "What are you filming?"

Lettle let out soft, whispering chirps at Umlaut's antics with the spores, seeming to find amusement with what he did and approving in her own way. She floated around the Toadscruel and then landed on top for a second. A friendly boop.[break][break]
"Yeah, I got them all gathered, but I'll need your help to move them over to the woods back there." It wouldn't be too far, probably a five or ten-minute walk there and back. Knight hoped it was far enough to deter them from coming back any time soon.[break][break]
He crouched to check on Jon, "Did you get some tasty snacks too?" He grinned at Cass' Trubbish. He found the little 'mon to be endearing, "I'm glad you could save some of the berries. We'll take them to the Canteen when we're done here." This he directed at Cass as he raised his gaze to her.

Looking at the bones the two of them were able to collect, Knight agreed that they had done their best, "We can only show her our offerings and see how she feels." Knight tucked the bones away into an empty pouch pocket and looked at Moiraine.[break][break]
"Let's fly back -- more practice." And it seemed like his Pelipper wouldn't mind acting as taxi for him either. He mounted up onto Moiraine and gave her a loving pat on the head, "Thanks for helping out."[break][break]
Once Loot Guard was ready, Knight took to the air and lead the way back to the Dojo since -- well, he figured he knew the way better (and he only went off course once!). It took them a little longer than walking (weird) but soon they were back to where they had started. Kay's hair was a bit of a mess from the flight but he was grinning from ear to ear.[break][break]
Yeah, Ride 'Mons were totally awesome![break][break]
"Alright, let's check on the Mandibuzz and see if she likes the bones we got." Knight hurried over to the nest and dug out the bones. He held them up as high as he could manage for the Mandibuzz to inspect, "We found a totally awesome place for you to move to. Safer for your Vullaby." If she had any, "And much nicer than here. Look, we brought some bones!"

Since Lettle had enjoyed tending to the school Berry Garden so much, Knight brought her along to check up on his own little patch of berry goodness. He whistled a happy tune as they approached the plot, and Lettle matched with her own tuneful chirping.[break][break]
This was a good day to do some gardening![break][break]
Or, it would be if there wasn't a freaking Fraxure trying to reach the newly grown berries on the small trees. They weren't ripe for picking yet and Knight wasn't going to lose them yet, "Oi! Thief!" [break][break]
The Fraxure let out a startled yelp, probably not expecting someone to show up and claim ownership to what was clearly a finders-keeper's sort of situation -- right? How could someone own a berry tree! They grew everywhere![break][break]
"Uh, no you don't!" Kay looked around for Palenniel, who had been taking a much deserved break. Once Knight had started yelling, however, the Mudbray had woken up and spotted the intruder, "Pal, use Bolldoze and teach this sneaky 'mon a lesson!" [break][break]
Pal stomped the ground and then charged at the Fraxure (not as impressive as it sounded, however, as as a Mudbray, he was kinda slow). He gathered momentum and the Fraxure, probably feeling bold, stood its ground. The two clashed and...[break][break]

There were moments when it seemed like Knight wasn't doing so well, and then other times he thought he was actually gaining on Thea. Which gave him a much-needed confidence boost considering the difference in their skill levels.[break][break]
Badelaire had a lot of fun playing tag with Hammy. It was probably a bit unfair since Bau was six against Hammy's one but the group seemed to enjoying themselves so there was no need to interfere.[break][break]
Now Hercules... He really went to town with Zeus and didn't see a reason to go easy at all. Sure, Zeus might have some advantage -- which didn't stop Herc from doing his best and trying to earn points with some precision strikes. Not that Zeus would let his guard down but the challenge just got Hercules more fired up.[break][break]

Knight let out a yelp as the radio clipped to his belt came to life -- right! The walkie-talkie! He listened as Josh relayed information and answered, "I can see the bus and I'm going to approach the scene now, over." [break][break]
He held onto the radio and approached the bus with care, locking eyes with Vitani and he gave the Pyroar a smile, "Josh will be here soon." He reassured her but he wondered why she had stayed behind. Probably something Josh had trained her to do![break][break]
"Josh, this is Knight. I can see the bus now and the group of students. Two are laying down, over." He approached the group and tried to sound as reassuring as possible, "Hello, don't be afraid. I am..." He wondered how to address himself and then cleared his throat, "I am Student-Ranger Naito. My superior, Elite Ranger Devlin will be here soon. Let me see to the injured students." He released his Pignite and Cottonee, knowing they could help distract and comfort the other students while he checked on those with injuries.[break][break]
Kay was relieved to see they looked stable, if understandably hurt and tired, "Don't worry, you'll be rescued soon."[break][break]
Moiraine had landed with the other Pokémon and gently laid them in a safe spot. Since they didn't know if they were trainer Pokémon or wild, she merely communicated for them to stay put while the others returned. The she took off again and headed back towards Knight.
