The battle concludes with a powerful and lucky combination of Fissure and Guillotine, acting as perhaps something like a judgement call. The pirates didn't stand a chance against the powerful Wind Rage by the Corviknight that sweeps them away, truly like leaves in the wind. Dee nods, tapping the reiling in Morse Code to recall der pokémon, even if most of them are already on their way back, Come up again.

The Hisuian Goodra especially displays astonishing feats of strength and agility as he hops from the Dondozo, onto the Metagross, and quickly back by Fenelle's side again. Absent-mindedly, dee pats the Hisuian Goodra as dee looks over der other pokémon, assessing the degree of injury they acquired throughout the battle, before nodding to let them mingle with the ones they battled alongside with before. (Like der trainer, most of them are fairly socially awkward.)

As dee turns back to Hitoshi, dee cracks a grin momentarily at his open enthusiasm, nodding, "We indeed did," the Rotom translates der signs into speech, "Good job. It's been ... fun to fight there."

And now, truly time that they get a move on!

Vespa asks good questions that Fenelle can't really answer as der internal stress actually also shows on the outside - for a moment, dee pondered appearing calm, but remembered that dee is a civilian now. This is an anomaly that doesn't happen to the regular civilian. Probably. There's some real hardcore ones out there, but dee is unsure if they actually count.

Still, back to the situation at hand, dee has to reply to a question. "We need to see ... if there's something that looks like a rift, I think we should be able to leave through there," Fenelle ponders, probably also having more knowledge than an average civilian about this ... but better than feigning complete ignorance. "Let's carefully walk for now - I think there's no way back from here." Dee looks behind Vespa, but is this where they came from? Or is it another direction ... and nearby, a waterfall is catching der and Magnemite's attention as they walk towards it.

And nearby ... a seal?

The fight actually commences then, with Morgrem actually being close to losing. The Poison type does seem to be tougher to deal with than anticipated for the dark fairy, causing him to fumble more than one time. Maybe it's also the novelty of the fight still - of a fight where he's observed, where there's expectations not only to survive, but to win.

It's then that he realises it's the same like before, isn't it? He had to win, or else. The unthinkable else that lingers in the air, a thought that threatens suffocation with its lackingness. A void that devours all.

No, he can't lose this fight. He can't- He can't.

Fenelle raises an eyebrow as he actually starts glowing and morphs, his shape twisting as hair almost covers him entirely, seemingly in protection. And then ... a Stomping Tantrum to shake the earth, and ultimately leads them to a win. Dee regards the Grimmsnarl with a thoughtful look, before patting him once on the back. Seems like there may be a future ahead ...

The Battle Resort is a strange place to be after everything that has transpired until now. Still, Fenelle would go in der civilian garb to stop by there and see if there might be any pokémon worth adding to der collection ... but it's hard to actually keep der normal civilian behaviour up. Gladly, in this instance, dee has trained quite some for it to keep up the act even under pressure ... until dee would get too annoyed by being here.

Fenelle regards Makoto's decision with curiosity, wondering what their thought process might have been. But then again, it's not like dee actually put that much thought into der own selection, which is mostly motivated by what dee hasn't tried before or what is just oozing sweetness in every possible way. (And a bottle of water, to wash it away so der teeth might have a chance at surviving.)

As dee gets seated, dee does notice another little creature briefly - is this another pokémon of Makoto's? But Fenelle focuses more on their words then, nodding along as they carefully chew their sweet pastries of various flavours (including some caramel ones). "It's mostly surface," dee then explains as a question is thrown into der direction, and dee takes another bite, swallows, before continuing.

"After our experience in the RKS, I researched them more and read up on it. It's still fairly mysterious to me, however, and I'm not entirely sure what these markings might mean ... and there doesn't seem to be a consensus either that I know of. I wonder if it's some kind of charm, or blessing, or something of the sorts," dee contemplates. "Their purpose could be as varied as their origin ..."

There's actually another pokémon, and it's damn work to pry the phone from the Corphish's pincers. They manage, however, rescuing a Porygon that, truly, does not seem to be too caring about the whole situation ... but dee also didn't really expect anything else.

Fenelle grins as the merchandise is also advertised, with a few of the Rotom-drones flying in and providing additional footage of the band t-shirts of a band that's been formed incredibly quickly. The League could not truly believe they could just make up a whole "resort island" near Sootopolis and get away with it. Fenelle also wears the shirt and poses alongside Ameena if allowed, before it would time to clear the stage for whatever other band Rocket has produced in the meanwhile.

Dee grins at Rhea's remark, actually, signing so that it would be translated by der own Rotom, "But it's a pretty good colour combination! Visually, very good with the font, too." It's a surprisingly pleasant arrangement for Fenelle, even if acoustically, it might be a challenge that dee fortunately doesn't have to bother with. However, as dee gestures for der Metagross to pick up the drum parts psychically, dee gets lost in thought.
