The young student does feel like slowly, memories of sitting in class and listening to all the theoretical things that someone would be able to do, but clearly, her focus in such a situation isn't always the best. Even now, as she is trying to absorb all the new information, it gets condensed to the bare minimum (what she perceives as such), and the rest, she'll have to ... experience somehow! At least it helps that this isn't the first time she is seeing such a thing, even though the other time has been mainly with another variation of the sygna suit, as it seems.[break]

"Uh-hum ... okay, I think I'm slowly getting it," Vespa says, determination colouring her voice, as the wall she just tried to walk through disappears from sight, revealing once more a better sight on the supposed-ranger-supposed-gym-leader and the Flygon. She does eventually take the sygna suit from the wardrobe, somewhat hesitant to put it on, but still doing so as another questions shoots her mind, "but ... like, if this is about the strength of the bond between the suit wearer and their Pokémon, should I really wear this? I'm not really - y'know, I don't know your guy - gal? - gender-neutral - really well, after all? Or is this a different thing here?" She looks over to the Misdreavus as if it has any answers, but she's only looking silly, taking a liking to floating upside down as she spins in slow circles, making a different grimace every time she faces Vespa, and she does one in return, too, indulging the other's (and her own) childish tendencies.

A few less words would probably have done the job, too, though Vespa isn't mulling too much on that as she quickly follows the private investigator and his Pokémon partner, and it's almost eerie itself how the other switched to a more serious within the blink of the eye. Maybe he is really a capable detective-of-sorts? Huh ... For now, she follows them all to an abandoned house, the marks of time having left it without a trace of life for quite some time, as it would seem on the outside.[break]

"We found them?" she remarks in turn to his words, a little contradictory as her eyes are rather shooting to the sleeping children first before she notices the Ghost types roaming to the outside, clearly not quite as happy with the intrusion. Vespa instinctively shoots a protective grip onto the Grookey who is none the wiser, grabbing and swinging his wooden stick around, curious about the new Pokémon that appear. "Uhh ... how to do this," she mutters - before pulling out two Pokéballs, a light following as they reveals a - a fellow Drifloon, and a Drifblim.[break]

At this point, Vespa isn't surprised anymore when two of her Pokémon don't really want to stay the way they are, immediately adapting to the environment they are put into. She can't suppress quite a sigh, however, as she just gestures a little and the Ditto-turned-Drifloon and the Hisuian-Zorua-turned-Drifblim move their own ways, managing to lead most of the wild Pokémon away from the children. "Phew ... what do we do with the children?" she then looks over to Kyle with a quizzical look, clearly revealing that she is not that good with children, or humans, for that matter.

Vespa nods as they traverse this strange place, so close to the spiritual that is is quite ... eerie. Yet, there is a forlorn sense of homecoming, too, as if this would be where they end up, in the long run, any one way. Or maybe, she is quite too morbid for thinking such a thing when she is barely close to her twenties. "Yeah ... dunno, it all seems a little intertwined, to be honest," she remarks, face scrunching up in thought as she lets her eyes wander over the entire expanse of what they are witnessing rather than the shenanigans that happen near her feet.[break]

Hm. Strange place for sure.[break]
[break]
-that turns even stranger now as a group marches by, consisting of both humans and Pokémon, all kinds of creatures whose expressions are distorted, grimaces of their living selves, with despair sticking to them like sweat. Vespa feels herself drawn a little to it, leaving the other behind as she marches close to the parade - and the parade response in turn, some eyes turning to the young student - and one even plucking itself out from the entire march to approach Vespa, and to ... Her body twists unnaturally as the spirit begins to merge with her, shadows surrounding her and silver mist dancing forth and back from the motions when in one outburst, a voice echoes throughout the lands.[break]

Vespa has been very dutifully and diligently listened to all of the Porygon's rambling about its collection, approving it with the eye of a critique - it's mostly just supportive vibes, though, knowing how difficult it can be to live with such a collection ... but how difficult yet, to make it stop! Like, should one, really? Probably ... maybe ... but in this very place that has a mystic atmosphere of Death and suchlike, she can only really say, "don't wanna die rich, eh?" Though, thinking on that Gimmighoul back then ... maybe having a few more coins to one's name by the end might cut it, too. It doesn't seem very fond of Gachapon prizes.[break]

Now that they have rested, however, Vespa feels ready to tackle this whole strange place again, nodding over to Fenelle with a determined look. "Let's get the heck outta here!" Although there is some intrigue in this place, now that she thinks about it ... she feels quite lost and that isn't a feeling she necessarily needs to feel amplified.[break]

"I hear water again ... but it's much faster this time, wanna go there? Seems like water is, like, a running gag here, or something," Vespa muses, looking at the everlasting fog that mists the ground, too. It makes it hard to discern one's shadow, in her opinion, as she blinks away anything that doesn't make sense in her head.

Maybe, the earth could swallow her whole, like, right about ... now? Or maybe Arceus could make a grand entrance - Giratina, even, so she could focus on battling God instead of the wave of panic that takes over her, and all because of a pretty lady. It only demonstrates to herself once more how utterly useless she is, all things considered, though her friends both make it worse and better as she nearly faints hearing Thea Naito's bold words, and even more by the way that Cassandra Kubrick seems to recognise DESIREE BLOOMS. Just what is she missing again? Ugh, does she even want to know?[break]
[break]
Thankfully, the - to her - stranger out of the small group gathered seems to take things well, with a little humour, even, and it makes her relax a little ... if only also she feels the flush on her cheeks worsen. "T-thank you ..." comes out much smaller than one would normally expect from someone who is very used to kick down doors if needed (there is a reason there aren't many at her family's apartment anymore), almost trying to blend into the background like the Ghost types that wisp around and fill the air.[break]

However, at the mention of mystery, there is some more life back in her as she nods, "o-oh ... oh! Yeah, I was actually also wondering - err - I was, uhm, I talked to one of the Chandelures, and - err - one of the Gengars seemed to know something, but what ... but, uh, nothing ... really happened so far, so - if you guys don't mind-" She looks at Cassandra Kubrick and Thea Naito, then to DESIREE BLOOMS, "and if you don't mind ... of course ..." What is she talking? Hah. If only she knew, but there is only a chilly nuzzle of her little Ghost friend, Quinn Crisp making a beeline for the plate of food she's holding soon after.

TL;DR

- Vespa wears a Wooper mask and a mintgreen dress, and she is accompanied by her partner Quinn Crisp the Misdreavus who wears a Grookey mask.[break]
- The lesbian panic commences, but now she is joined by her friends, Cassandra Kubrick and Thea Naito, and together with DESIREE BLOOMS, awaits the first happenings.

It's not often that Vespa comes to Mt. Chimney, but ... well. Now they are here, on the request of some of her classmates who seemed to have gotten into the better of this whole stone-excavating business rush, though she would argue they come a little too late, too dumb. As most emergencies seem to centre other parts of Hoenn that are under rougher and tougher conditions, they ... turn to her and Thea, as it seems. "I can't believe I'm doing this on a weekend ..." Vespa mutters - huffs and puffs as they arrive near the entrance of where the cave-in happened. She hears faint voices from inside, but honestly, does not bother with where or what they might say.[break]
[break]
Instead, she turns to her friend instead, checking briefly in with a "you good? Let me tell them to scurry the heck off, so we have some space to work with." Vespa then pulls out her phone to text into the group chat of their class, wondering if Cassandra Kubrick might also see the message of their ridiculous classmates. But ... what's new under the sun. "Ay, come on out, Squad!" she hollers as at the same time, the Misdreavus is making her exit to, a wide grin on her face.

The confusion doesn't quite lessen on the young student's face as she is suddenly presented with a task she knows not quite the answer to. Of course, her bond with her primary team is nothing to be scoffed at, but this exam-kind of environment also makes her panic a little. She has never been that good at taking tests, even as she somehow makes it through nonetheless. It's just like that, huh? She just has to make it through ... and considering that she is able to do this with her trusted companions by her side, it makes her mind relax as she looks over to the cackling Misdreavus. An eyebrow raised at the shenanigans this one might be up to, but the trust is implicit.[break]
[break]
"Uh ... okay," she finally says, the lingering shadows behind her staying in their nebulous forms - with only the Misdreavus on the field. But her own shadows seem to darken with her rising determination, a curious thing to observe, considering the bright-eyed force that is displayed on Vespa's face as she watches with curiosity. So this is how they do it, huh ...? Looking over to where the sygna suit hangs, she has no troubles imagining that this should fit her just fine. But ...[break]
[break]
"Actually ... I'm also curious about something," she looks at the Misdreavus again, as a wall constructs itself in front of her. She has watched Shalin's sygna suit things a couple of times now, and it all results in this one question that is loitering her mind like the shadows that seem to encourage her. As she feels a dark smoke beginning to engulf her, she confidently walks against the wall-[break]
[break]
-and dabsmacks against it, feeling the obstacle just alright as the Misdreavus cackles - with a hint of worry -, floating upside down and around her head. From the force, Vespa falls down on her butt, holding her nose, the shadows dispersing, "crap, okay - not working. Not ready for that. Uh, so what did you say about the suit again?"

As mindless as the Grookey is enjoying their visit of Shalin's place, as fast are Vespa's thoughts spinning at the display of ... honestly, she isn't even so sure anymore. That's what people are capable of, with a Pokémon by their side? Well, yes, of course, she would know that there is aplenty of things one can only achieve with the mysterious powers that were granted to those creatures, but ... still. The fact that something spills over is quite - fascinating, too.[break]

As soon as the vines come to a halt from the Power Whip, the young student rushes over, confusion marking her face as she looks with both fascination and worry at the ranger, "uhh, you good? What the heck was that? How are you doing this? What's the advantage of it?" Many questions slithering out of her mouth all at once, without really thinking about them once more - just ... so many thoughts, and so many things she wants to ask.

Speechless silence overtakes as they finish their attacks after seconds of more of the same relentless drive that pushes them towards the enemy, for sure just defeating the imaginary enemy of their collective mind. A pause of breather as they all come down from the united experience - and then, the first trooper starts a cheer, "hooray!"s coming now from all the sides as they have all executed the attack to a tee. Just as it was intended, as a group. Of ... of seven. Of course. With a Cutiefly. With Misuk, honorary sixth trooper, seventh part of this whole.[break]

"That was an excellent Close Combat, everyone! I'm very proud of our achievements," the brass speaks with joy, seriousness melting a little away from the otherwise battle-hardened face. Somewhere in the distance, another trooper chants, "celebration!!" And heck, for sure they do, excited laughter all around. Yeah! That's how training is supposed to go like!

As expected, the answer isn't an easy one, and one that would definitely not bode too well with the possible expenses and probable income of an average teenager, even as her father is able to send her to a private school. There is a compassionate look on the young student's face as she nods, a simple "been there - done that," following her actions. "It's okay. It's just us in here. I think ... but, my point - I wouldn't tell a soul, so, uh, don't worry," she tries to be reassuring but as she watches how the scenery is undone and redone, she cannot help but wonder if there isn't something more sinister at work. Who is actually the one behind? Who is the one trying to unravel history, time and again, in all this wondrous ways that may or may not be true and false all at once?[break]

However, her attention is fully taken by the new scenario they are in now, finding her life energy draining as much as it pulsates with something anew. Something ... something that touches into the very deep part of her teenager being. Oh no. Is she a horse girl? ... Crap. She might be, as she lays eyes on the wondrous being of a mare, astride on shadows rather than hooves, commanding the energy forces that surround it quite so. Its force is enough to lower even the mischievous Misdreavus' spirit, though much like her trainer, there is more curiosity alighting them. Like pride is fostering Allegra's will not to yield and break, it's pure wonder that strives Vespa to approach despite the other's decisive words, a hand carefully reaching out to see if she can get a hold of its nostrils, a chill wind evaporating into the air.[break]

It's impressive how Allegra mounts herself onto the Spectrier when all Vespa feels is weak in her knees, though she cannot even discern anymore why or what that might be. With a look towards Allegra, mounted on the spectral appearance, she is giving her a smile nonetheless, even as she would have liked to see herself there, too. Maybe there would be room for two? Much more than that, however, different words are slipping off her mouth, "I'm going to be best friends with this horse."

While not quite knowing what is going, Vespa does begin to sense a little ... strange energy coming from the other. Not in the sense that she feels something harmful like the one butcher with the Slowpokes, nothing of the sort of hostility that she noticed from some of the NPCs, as this would be definitely a real person just like her. But ... actually, something rather gentle, even, though she is quite confused why a stranger would treat her like that, calling her mia cara, which, what does that mean? It sounds nice, but ... Yeah. Uh. Just playing along with it for now? "Uh ... you good yourself, though?"[break]
[break]
It feels as if the temperature in the cave is turning up higher and higher by the minute, the searing lava yet having an impact on what is going on inside, even as they avoided the catastrophe per se. The handkerchief is soaked in sweat soon enough. Over the shoulder, she feels her Misdreavus lurking, ever-adorning her usual masquerade of a snickering smile, but there is also something curious, as if she also feels something is ... wrong in this simulation. "My name? Uh - Vespa, you mean? Err, nice to meet you?"[break]

And then, the simulation breaks - shifts to the next scenario they will be going through.
