Xuying has not fought quite that many battles in his life, but he knows that it should definitely not look like this - a figure torn apart by the Hyper Beam, fallen under the various attacks and the kind of insanity that has taken place. This figure should have defended itself somehow, or that should have been the norm, not just watching and cackling as slaughter happens. Deeply irritated by what just happened, he looks over to Andrea - who seems to realise about the same.[break]

Quickly, he hurries with her towards the end of this scenario, too, though unsure what might be in her head as his mins is still perplexed by what just happened. "That was - really weird," he can only comment as the scenery shifts anew. He has so many questions. Maybe he should actually take a history lesson, or fifteen.

Nothing like that sweet, sweet terror of a million eyes or something similar staring at you - emerging as you hit rock bottom, quite so. He isn't able to catch what the other might be saying, or has been saying, only staring into much too many Unowns at once to truly be able to discern what this is about.[break]

"What the fuck," he lets out nearly simultaneously with Cassandra before grabbing her arm and trying to dash out of here asap, stat, his own eyes fixated on the ground, hoping those Pokémon wouldn't emerge even further. What are they even on about? Is that something with this other thing he saw in a different scenario, some other time?

Fortunately, it seems like Josh has his own answer prepared to send a bright bolt of lightning throughout this darkened scenery. Gripping upon the fake reality - the simulation they are under, Xuying does find a speck of curiosity that wonders where it would lead to - and then, kind of regrets to have ever wanted to know. What follows is a strange amalgamation of different things, rings that occur in both a violent and strange way altogether. Something in the middle that occurs ... though he would not believe himself to be able to dodge enough rings to get to that point in the first place.[break]

Quickly, Xuying first calls back the shiny Rotom to its ball, not sure whether or not the rings would actually be able to hit a ghost - before he looks over to Josh, ducking out of one of the rings' way. "Seems - like - another - escape - to me!" he shouts over, finding it erratically more difficult to keep his body out of harms way. Until one ring appears conveniently enough that he can just jump through it, hoping to fall onto somewhere safe - but he does not have the time to check whether or not Josh would make it further in this manner also.

Xuying still shudders from that rather uncanny experience with the Dusknoir, trying to shake off that eerie feeling as he muses, "yeah ... I'm not that much of a Ghost trainer either, just this one." He gestures to the shiny Rotom that cackles and snickers. "That's only enough Ghost for me." Too much manipulation of what he's having on the phone, too ...[break]

Still, he eyes curiously the kind of gang that dee has around demself, vaguely reminiscent of his own team of three - although since there are only three and he is only using it for one kind of thing, it's probably no surprise. No surprise especially when ... "Dabble into the computer technology?"[break]

Meanwhile, a Staravia seems to set out to attack, though Xuying barely manages to throw a Pokéball in defence, knowing the Rotom would probably not do much. Ugh ... he better get X out, huh? At least that one is doing something when he's somewhat gravely endangered. Most of the time.

"Fair enough," Xuying muses. Not a sentiment he can understand per se, considering his lackluster approach and nonexistent want of getting strong or better in any form of way in the way of Pokémon battles, but he can ... somewhat get behind what others must be thinking then. "Guess that makes it one heck of a training ground." He should probably look into that sort of rocks one day, but he's quite content with ... 'normal' kinda rocks, too, but maybe, Islwyn knows a thing or two that she wants to share.[break]

Now a flicker of memory about what Raikou, Entei and Suicine are comes to mind, though he still would definitely not claim to be much of an expert on such a thing. It's more a vague interest of something that does not have that much relevance to his home in Unova. Still, a few extra information don't seem too off hand to have. "Hmm ... I see, that sounds like a pretty confusing case of nomenclature to me, things can get so messy when you don't really declare things accordingly - but hey, if it works for you, why not, right" Xuying `muses. At least names and declarations are an area he is vaguely familiar - the chemists would be able to sing more of a song, but at least they have structure to it.[break]

Before he can move on comfortably, however, a Coalossal seems to be in the way ahead of them - fortunately with its back turned to them, it's easy to catch it off-guard as he just throws a Pokéball, hoping to swoop up the catch as they glide past. "So ... any specific kinda destination you're gunning for?"

Xuying hasn't really meant to look after the gardens and fields for Islwyn, but since he has had nothing planned for the day and the forest ranger took off for some emergency, he might as well, right? It's not like there will be much that he has to do, except being in the near vicinity and just ... doing nothing, he figures. Eh. Not like he does much else.[break]

Thus, he sits down near the patches of grass, fruits and vegetables, yawning his day away as there is nobody else but him and his Pokémon team to communicate and there is decidedly no fun in engaging with his ragtag group of dysfunctionally functional gremlins. Until ... he dozes off, dreaming of ... of ...[break]

Honestly, as he opens his eyes next, he cannot tell what he has been thinking or dreaming of, but with some certainty, the Rotom and the Metagross seem to have made it out of its Pokéball, with Y snickering maniacally as another Pokéball is laying next to Xuying. There is a strange ... smoke around it. Huh ... "What have you guys been doing?" he stares at the two. He'll have to do a PokéDex check later, huh ...

Upon seeing the Torchic, Xuying cannot escape faster - he is not usually a runner of any kind, but there is something about the Torchic he has at home that ... no, he won't be taking any chances, so he takes the biggest lap he can, so he does not have to encounter this strange being. Hopefully he wouldn't have to run into that many Fire starters in his life anymore ...

The Rotom seems rather sad about seeing the Pokéball taking by another, though there isn't much time left to mourn such a thin as something much more interesting is happening - with a Simisear that takes the Pokéball instead, running off with it like Y should have done! How unfair the world! It almost is on the verge of running after it if not for the clearing of throat of its trainer, Xuying giving him a stern look as he sighs. "Seems like the lad has a mischievous day ..." he only comments, though before he can get much further, he feels a chill running down his spine. Before he can fully register the eerie presence that has manifested itself behind him, as it seems, he feels how a Pokéball of his own is loosened and thrown - by ... by the Rotom?[break]

Blinking as the chilly Pokémon disappears from his sight and feeling, he only registers how he gets a new PokéDex entry of a ... Dusknoir? He scratches the back of his head, humming as he looks over to the stranger, "I guess weirder things have happened in this town, eh?"

Looking further at a couple of the tiny shards he has collected, it does seem that there is a certain gleam to a few of them that distinguish themselves from the more ordinary rocks that he favours to pick up every once in a while. He doubts that there'll be much he can do with the scraps he managed to get off the walls, though it doesn't hurt to hold onto it for now. "Hm ... interesting," he remarks in turns to the information shared by Josh, "that does make it doubtful that I'll ever be able to try it out outside of this cave. Let's see if the vibes are ever right for it, hm, my lad?" He knocks onto the Metagross' smooth surface, though he doesn't get much of an answer back. It is quite stoic, after all, and he can only vaguely sense something like an agreeing grunt from it.[break]

So the other's reason for coming here is the bond between him and his Pokémon, huh? Interesting ... "Why'd they find this place calming, though? Do they come from here?" he wonders out loud, though this is probably more of an expertise thing for Katharina Strophe if nothing else. Or maybe not? Who knows ...[break]

But just as he is catching a break from the rock-stealing Wattrel, he feels another threatening presence, an emberfire that burns and ... "Hey! Stop that!" he urges the Metagross to float higher as a Charmander seems to be following them, a bright fire not only coming from his tail, but also his mouth. Hoping it would make it stop, Xuying throws a Pokéball at the cheeky gremlin. Do Fire starters kinda hate him, or what?

He nods at her introduction with a friendly smile, not further inquiring about her family name and such. It would be a lie to say he already met enough people to know that sometimes, it's just a sensitive topic to approach, though he doesn't find much interest in what isn't ultimately shared by others first. He, after all, has other things to do than be nosy about someone else's business. "Nice to meet you, Maki," he remarks then, "let's work together well, shall we?"[break]

And as it seems, she's very reliable when it comes to taking out those she finds no interest in. Clapping another time is probably pretty overdoing it at this point, so he only gives a confirming nod as he picks up the Pokéball that fell to the ground and is his to claim now, as per the rules of this strange little world. In the same motion, he calls back the Porygon-Z, releasing the Rotom into the icy winds instead. "I see! Yeah, I was actually looking for rocks, though it seems that most are quite covered up by the ground," he muses, making smalltalk over the biting wind as another pair of Pokémon approach.[break]

"Y, let's see your Confuse Ray!" he eyes the dual type of the two, getting ahead of the Froslass as he easily throws a Pokéball and attempts to catch it.
