waddling closer, the pokemon strikes the pokemon with a single hit. the stunfisk slams shut around the vegetable stalk and keeps its grip firm. frantically, the farfetch'd attempts to shake it free.

instinct bleeds away as marcel settles into his company, he returns to himself and slowly pulls out a chair. gavin's question hangs in the air a moment; marcel's eyes go back to the papers. dominic would speak, with or without an invitation.

"yeah." his reply comes automatic, before he can decide on his own agreement. marcel would find, later that night, that his answer would always be just out of reach. "i guess so."
