she hums, looking out to the horizon. he's not wrong, and she greatly appreciates the view. a smile comes to her lips, looking out to the distance before leaning her arms against the fence. though emerald eyes squint slightly, attempting to look out to the distance. ah. more walking. "mmn.. i've travelled hoenn a lot, but its a shame that i only found this place today~.." and although she prefers quicker transportation ".. maybe i should take a few more walks more often~.."

it's no wonder she's felt the quivering blissey in her pokeball, already long sensing the sadness and frustration that came with this argument. still, there's something to be said when there are pokemon arguing about.. the future of their child, she assumes. it almost reminds her of a child trying to convince their parent that they're old enough, and can go out to become a pokemon trainer. such is life. [break][break]

daphne reaches for the blissey's pokeball, watching idly as it shakes, slightly, in her hand. "... shall i bring out pearl to aid and cheer up the one sitting over there?" she asks, glancing her head to calix. "that is.. if you have an idea on how to speak with the other two.." she has more to say about this situation, but this could wait until after they resolve the issue.

she's probably a lot easier to please than he thinks, considering that she's in a constant state of "pleased" around him. it's obvious that he's noticed that, but less obvious when she doesn't say it. still, her amusement can't be hidden when she smiles up to him. his own smile is contagious. he's contagious. now she pauses, glancing around to some rides that are scattered around the park. there's slight hesitation as she takes a glance at a particularly large one, and a slight tinge of pink rises to her cheeks as she narrows her eyes, glancing to the side - to the ground. "... the merry-go-round.." her hands are brought together, tenting her fingertips when her eyes hesitantly glance back at him. [break][break]

"i know it sounds childish but.. i think a merry-go-round ride would be fun~"

"he's lively enough, so i don't think the house would be quite for.." she pauses, thinking, pensive "for a few weeks?" or maybe she's overestimating the kid's energy. still, the thought brings a smile to her face, and she giggles softly. in he meantime, she picks up the tablet with the song list, and casually scrolls through it, looking to see what tracks they had to offer. still, though.. there were quite a few songs. though she's not so much confident in her singing, it would be a shame to come here and.. not enjoy it. she moves closer, holding the tablet between them "do you see anything we could try singing?~"

he's kind enough to.. at least put her at ease. so she smiles, slightly, at his response, and turns her attention back to the empoleon and kingdra who both take it upon themselves to drop into the water first. both pokemon gaze up at the trainer, who tugs her own headwear over her face and starts to walk until she drops into the water. [break][break]

she's not the best swimmer, but her kingdra leads the way as she keeps a holds the hard tuts that come from the penguin's neck, back stomach against the back of the pokemon as they navigate through the waters - though the deeper they go, the darker it gets - until the kingdra comes to a stop over what.. looked to be rocs collapsed over an underwater cave. "test" she speaks into the communication device put in their headgear "can you hear me? i think.. my pokemon found something?"

he always does a lot for her, and he's been.. doing even more for her lately, really. sometimes she looks at the man - ruched and frantic, yet still smiling - and she asks 'what have i done to deserve this?'. the door is open and he runs off, and she finds the slight rush endearing. a chuckle escapes her lips as she watches him jog back into the kitchen, and she comes in to lock the door securely. [break][break]

"no, no.. you aren't late." she reassures him, walking deeper into the abode, towards the kitchen to lean slightly against the frame. "i just came a little bit early. i apologize for startling you~" smiles like these are becoming more common. it's because of him. "do you need any help?"

it's a rocky path, but she's okay. [break][break]

it seems like he's done this, multiple times in the past. she isn't too worried about herself getting hurt, though she knows that voicing it will probably land her a lecture. he's breathing at a pace, though it takes her a tad longer to catch her breath. she hasn't moved this much in a while, after all - what with being a homebody, and being stuck to her desk for the better half of the day. she's greeted with a beautiful sight nevertheless, almost enough to leave a woman speechless, had she known that this wasn't their destination. not yet. though he points in the direction, and she squints to try and get a better look out. "ah, yes. i do see them." she holds her hand against her forehead, trying to look out into the distance and shade her eyes. ".. i assume that's our destination?"

she walks into the room, but that's about where the similarities stop. though she also sees two of the panda arguing, with another panda sulking off to the side, she doesn't.. quite understand the situation. ".. are they.. having a lover's quarrel?" if that's the case, it's a little concerning, especially with how fiery some of their tempers can get when they get a little too heated. she doesn't quite understand the panda to the side, either, who seemed a bit too docile to jump into the argument. [break][break]

so instead she gently nudges at the man, with a slightly concerned quirking of her brow "what do you make of this?"

enjoying herself? yes, maybe that's the case. it's been so long she's forgotten how to loosen up, and how to enjoy herself when not under the influence of alcohol (it's so ironic when she thinks about it, how they met). [break][break]

the smile she wears persists, and her lips broaden the smile just as he wished. for a while, she's amused watching as the ears atop of his head sway and wave in the air, and his exaggerated tone prompts even a slight giggle to escape her lips. he flicks the ribbon and compliments her, and her response is to smile a little more warmly, with the same tinge on her cheeks as the smile reaches emerald green eyes. "you always say that..." she takes the other ribbon between her fingers, twirling it around in place of her hair "... it's because you're being cute."

the smile shrinks at the sound of work (and memories of devon rush back, like a stain she'd rather cover up. the image has been tainted by silph, and that damnable fernando) and she lets out a soft hum of distaste. following up, she nods and leans, slightly, to take a better look at the pages ".. there were quite a few, yes." back when she didn't often interact with her other employees, when she hadn't the passion to run the family business (and maybe that's why she failed).[break][break]

"i never.. participated in them. work demanded too much from me." but talk of devon was starting to put a damper on her mood. what did people do when they were starting to feel down? ah, that's right "... i can see you and your son having a small karaoke machine back at home. he seems like the kind who would enjoy it~" [break][break]

you're here on a job, not to admire and gawk. it's obvious enough for him to notice your eyes, so learn to restrain yourself better - is what she's telling herself time and time again, but she finds her verdant gaze naturally gravitating back to him. it's only at his words, and another nudge from her empoleon, does she put more an effort into actively glancing away. "i-i apologize." a hand raises to cup the side of her neck, and the heat rises to her cheeks and the tips of her ears. how shameless of her. [break][break]

she'll focus more on the task at hand, and not how he's helping her with the zipper on her back. it's a blessing in disguise, rally; now he can't see the crimson hue on her cheeks (though that won't save her from the tinge over the tips of her ears). attempting to turn her attention away, she narrows her eyes and ponders over the luvdisc. "at worst, they're trapped at the ocean floor." when he finishes with the zipper, she pulls out a pokeball to call out a kingdra, who floats suspended over land. ".. mmn. three water types should make this a swift recovery~."

she doesn't mind taking a dive. in fact, she's done quite a lot of this with the family when they were all still safely living in hoenn. the problem arises when she's put between a job, and.. that. [break][break]

... that, being a man who stood tall in a suit that very much complimented his form. hell, she found it hard to look away, and would have gotten lost in a trance of admiration, had her empoleon not nudge her with a steel flipper. [break][break]

not even his words are enough to snap her out of it, so she shakes her head gently, recounting his words then nodding her head. with that, she turns to have her back face him, golden locks tied into a braid, then hooked across the bottom of her head into a bun. "yes, please. if you don't mind."
