"wait, apatite n--" it's already too late when the dragon pokemon rushes towards the other small dragon, already revving up a DRAGON CLAW to down the little dragon in a hit - and to prove his superiority. maybe it was a bit dangerous to their surroundings, and she feels bad for the deino.. it's a good thing she keeps pearl on her, to heal the pokemon up, otherwise that would be trouble. [break][break]

this time, she picks up the bagon into her arms, patting the top of its hard head. "you have to learn restraint, apatite."

"rowdy is a severe understatement.." she feels like she's run a thousand laps trying to get the bagon to calm down, and she can only hope that he starts to mellow out when he's able to evolve. "you wouldn't believe the kinds of antics he'll get himself into." she's of the same mind when she pulls out a pokeball to throw at a passing gardevoir - a beautiful pokemon, and one who she would prefer to not interact with her bagon. spare it the headache. [break][break]

"have you ever seen a bagon trying to fly?" she asks, narrowing her eyes, slightly, at the dragon who continues to run around with the baby dinosaur "i had to try stopping him from jumping off the edge of a waterfall, in an attempt to fly.."
remembering it made her rub her face, with a defeated sigh and slight smile.

he's a habit of spoiling her and her stomach, which is good (considering that the way to her heart was through the stomach, to some degree). dinner and a show he says again, and she'll take his word for it. so, with a small smile to her lips, she moves away from the kitchen and waves her hand in the air, slightly. "alright~.." she sighs in defeat. [break][break]

he was the chef here, and she knew that he was going to make a wonderful meal. all she had to do was wait, then they could chat over some good food, and hope that he doesn't stuff her with too much, because she still has some work to get back to..

she sighs softly, though slightly exasperated with the pangoro. no wonder they were looking so glum and fatigued; she would be too, if she had to face this amount of energy for so long. she feels for you pangoro; truly, she does. so with a small,defeated smile, she gives the pangoro the blissey's egg, urging for it to at least take a bite. that way, at least, they would be able to feel some speck of energy. hopefully. [break][break]

some time later, and much convincing afterwards, it seems like the older pangoro has reluctantly accepted the idea of letting the little one go, and that lets a relief out of the woman's lips. "that was.. something.." she comments, her blissey walking alongside her. [break][break]

hopefully, future missions wouldn't be so.. obscure. pokemon breeders exist for a reason, don't they..?

she'll leave the bigger pangoro to be dealt with by the pancham. on her end, she brings her blissey over to the sulking one, intending to.. probably feed it with an egg of happiness.[break][break]

daphne doesn't need to crouch to be able to meet its eyes, of which look tired, and exhausted. it looks more in a state of helplessness, if anything. it's a sad sight. so she's quick to pull the pink ball's pokeball, letting the happiness pokemon out to begin chiming at the sad pangoro. pearl is quick to pull the egg from her pouch, offering it to the sad pokemon who sulks. ".. it will help you feel better." she isn't the best at comforting people, never mind pokemon, but she reaches out to gently pat the top of the pangoro's head. "calix will deal with the other two in no time, mmn? we can keep you company until then." the blissey chimes along, still urging the pangoro to eat the egg - even if a little to alleviate the sadness and fatigue.

"of course." she wears a smile on her lips, gazing out into the distance to enjoy the sights. really, she'd love nothing more than to take a hike with him now and then, even if it might.. end up a little physically strenuous. still, more exercise doesn't hurt anyone. [break][break]

the suggestion to go and take a picture wasn't surprising, though it has her hum in amusement all the same. "it doesn't hurt." she smiles, pulling out her phone and bringing it to the camera screen, gently tapping calix. "if you could bring out your incineroar to take the picture, that would be wonderful~." she chimes, waiting for the feline pokemon to emerge from the pokeball. when it does, she hands it over.[break][break]

then she moves closer to his side, waiting for a picture to be taken.

the aroma spreads throughout the home, and it brings a smile to her face. he was always very good at cooking - so much so that she could get jealous of it. though she's slightly curious as he cooks, and can't help but to leave the table to try and get a closer look - perhaps she could learn through watching. it would be better that way, actually - she'd be able to cook with him in the kitchen, rather than have her cook for her when she finishes her work. [break][break]

she's enjoying the scent until she hears the sudden crackles, and suddenly jerks back at the sight of the flames coating the oil that only lives for but a moment. the woman stays back, watching as the flames die down, then she lets out a soft, relieved sigh. "that startled me.."

she's learned better than to argue with him. [break][break]

if anything, she's defeated when he so playfully raises his card, and her lips can only curl into a small smile as he walks to the register. still, there's something endearing when he's stubborn like this, and it puts her at ease once again. he seems to have that calming and soothing effect - though if she says so, he'll probably just insist that he's being honest. [break][break]

it was this simplicity that drew her to him. [break][break]

the fact that he could be so laid back, and relatively carefree, and how she could act the same without the pressure weighing on her. with a sigh, she walks with him to board the ride, specifically hopping onto a rather sturdy, two seated horse. she sits in the front, waiting for him to sit behind her, with both her hands lower along the pole. ".. mmn. i'll be sure to pay you back through some treats at stalls, later~" [break][break]

for now, she'll just enjoy the ride.

she doesn't know why she thought she'd be judged. [break][break]

maybe it's because she's so used to being judged, so used to having the eyes on her. maybe she's just tired of the pressure and the expectations. maybe that's why she finds it so soothing to be around. maybe that's why she's more comfortable being open with him. she didn't know what to expect after her choice of a ride, but hearing his response brought a smile to her lips. though she slowly takes the ribbons off the top of her head to put in his hand - and would have said nothing, if not for seeing him pull out his wallet. "ah, hold on--" she starts, raising her hand to gently lower the hand with the card in it "you really don't need to.. i suggested it, so i should be using my card."

she's enjoying herself. [break][break]

it's been a while since she was able to sing and, for once, she feels more at ease, haring the piano play over the speakers in the room (though loathe is she to hear her own voice, the music thankfully drowns out what she perceives to be horrible singing. his own voice compliments hers as well, which makes it bearable). calmer, soothing music like this is what makes her happiest, especially when it's accompanied by someone she's only recently started holding closer to her heart. really.. she doesn't know when it started. she doesn't know why it started. [break][break]

it's easy to lose yourself in music - it's the case for many people. daphne is no exception, so she enjoys singing and getting lost in the notes as she sings, even going as far as to not catch when calix trails off in the song to eye her - to admire her, the same way she's admired him a good amount of times. the blonde woman sings until the end, of which she's left listening to the piano peer out, with the same, calm smile to her lips. "ca--" she starts, only to meet with his eyes when she turns. [break][break]

she'd get lost if she hadn't realized that he was.. eyeing her, with more affection than she knows what to do with. her cheeks flush a pink, as do her ears, as she lowers the microphone and pulls the tablet back up. "w-we can.. find another song to sing." she tries to avoid eye contact, and she doesn't understand why she's bashful. he has this effect on her.

as the swarm dies down, her pokemon find it safe enough to return to the trainer - who finds herself pulled, closer than probably intended - to calix. she doesn't know when, but maybe she's absentmindedly tugged herself closer to him, clinging on, thinking that he was her empoleon (it's shameful and embarrassing to admit, but he was built well enough for her to make the mistake). [break][break]

"a-ah.. yes.." she's kept herself close, but once again, snaps herself out with the slight nudge of her empoleon, who gives her an unamused, narrow of his eyes as the kingdra swims not too far ahead to scout the way. thank god the gear covered enough of her face, and it was dark enough down here. [break][break]

and so the empoleon has both trainer and companion hold onto him, guiding the two divers up to surface, with a small luvdisc scale between the woman's fingers.

"it's.. a bit of an old song, mmn." one that she hasn't heard in a while, but one that's stuck with her for a good while. she takes the remote, then selects the song from the screen with a small smile on her lips. an a little different, because she's not so good at.. singing stronger songs. her voice can't do that.[break][break]

eventually, she moves to put the tablet on the table and holds a microphone in her hand, instead. then she passes the other one to him, with a small smile on her lips. the first couple of notes start to play, with its soft piano. "a slower song, i hope you don't mind~.." [break][break]

and when the lyrics appear on the screen, she parts her lips, and softly sings.
