It was tempting to see another Anorith zipping through the area, but Kaida had to contain herself. The goal still stood. She wanted a Pokemon that operated in a pride, not one that she could convince to participate in a swarm. [break][break]

She moved on, leaving the Pokemon in peace.

She's never seen poison like this, Kaida knows much about poison-types, and she never saw poison pool like this...enrage like this. Everything in this world lived in a different way, but never quite destroyed like this, even poison-types didn't drench the environment like this unless they had found a heavily favorable environment. A forest wasn't that environment. [break][break]

Kaida felt her heart drop as Indunn let out a sad cry, blackened and dead trees refusing to improve even under the powerful Floral Healing.. On her neck, Ormr hissed in alarm, forcing the group to sprint away. Even with the gas mask, Kaida felt choked, and the running was not helping. She couldn't imagine how the gentle Comfey felt, even with Aromatherapy, it was still a fairy. She didn't even like to use the Comfey too often, it was too gentle. Indunn was much more suited to healing and helping at home, not the chaos of this. [break][break]

More poison in view. Safety, at least for now. Get to work. [break][break]

The antidote was helping, but she needed more help. "Indunn, stop it!" She barked as the Comfey attempted to return to the burnt vegetation. How she wished she was sent here to harm, and not heal. Healing required choice on what to do. Her decisions were swift, though, likely why she had been given this job. "We need to heal here, understand?" She pointed to the pools of poison, the dying plants, "Help what can be helped. Ormr, keep watch." Her orders were soft, yet clipped. She was furious, and glad the gas mask concealed her twisted face. [break][break]

This work did not suit her. She wanted to hunt, to find and kill what was causing this. A job was a job, but she needed a target to run at.

Ormr was focusing on a nearby Morpeko...and not to catch. The serpent must be getting hungry with how long they were in here, "We'll just be here a little longer. Let's keep going, stay close." Sheepishly, he broke his gaze away from the little rodent. [break][break]

They just needed another sighting of sparks.

Reinforcing buildings and areas was something Kaida's Pokemon could do without supervision, and Kjoll was no exception. The Onix rumbled across the city, towing along material that even the strongest Pokemon couldn't carry, due to sheer size. Gratefully, Kjoll sighed as the weight left him to be added to buildings, to create walls, to even have a chance. [break][break]

The Onix looked out to sea, completely dwarfed even at his size. Ormr had said that very bad enemies were coming. Predators that weren't like Ormr or their other hunters. They'd all be eaten if the bad predators won. Ormr wasn't one to exaggerate, the Ekans could be called the leader next to Kaida. Calm, serious, and protective, the two didn't freak out over nothing. Kjoll knew his place in the make-shift family. A rare rock-type, and huge, it was his job to protect them all, a shield. Stealth Rock chipped off of his tail, floating above the waves, plunging into the dirt. As small as he was, this was what he could do, create a wall, however small.
