Kaida could see Muspel faltering, perhaps she was scared that she was stalling Kaida. Nevermind the fact that it was a very cute scene, Kaida's own meeting wasn't exactly over. She waved as the Charizard looked worridly over, then turned back to Illeana, making her own patience clear, and Muspel returned to the play. Cute. [break][break]

She had paused briefly at Illeana's next question, throwing up her hands, "I wasn't hesitating! It's not a problem for me." Why was a past so hidden? She tried a smile, throwing her hands back at her side, "It's experience." Her smile took a baring of teeth, a past she barely remembered in snippets, but was accessible in her own records. It was a strange view to have, "I met my first human at...they think nine. Remember, Ormr?" The serpent, having been resting on her shoulders, opened its golden eyes and nodded eerily, "Our first meeting, you creatures really looked strange to us, not Pokemon, and you were very loud." A puffing laugh came from Kaida, "A little strange for a person like me to feel kinship with something of your shape, which I never saw." Her eyes held no humor, and she talked as if she didn't share the same body as Illeana, or wanted to. Kindness just didn't come easily when she didn't even see them as herself, "That's not scary, is it, Illeana?" Her sudden question ended her seriousness, curiously looking upon her for her answer. "Perhaps it is instinct...different species work together all the time, don't they?" Exactly what separated humans and Pokemon, she wasn't certain, nor did she understand why completely different creatures decided to work together, but their claws and fangs were her only option for strength. She had to find that kind of strength and, one day, perhaps she'd find a strength of her own. Boundaries didn't matter, it was all for the sake of family. [break][break]

"Training is whatever it needs to be." Kaida suddenly piped up, looking at the duo Charizards, "Like Muspel and...what is his name?...They got instincts, but they still need to learn to fly, its not like they're expected to be masters from the beginning. They "train", like this! It can start small, then get hard. At the very least...this body is tough, as long as you don't do the impossible, like fly like them, I think it can be handled...you already did well at Littleroot." Well. She survived, and got a hold of the sap, what else could be expected from her, she wondered. Her own team survived, along her as a technicality, but she was a failure, so that couldn't be what was expected. [break][break]

Illeana feels...animal, the way her eyes darken, and Kaida frowns, unsure what to feel. Despite herself, she understood one thing, a beast didn't like another beast. She was the rager, the hunter, the leader. Illeana should think more, it benefited a human. Thus, abruptly Kaida spoke, "I heard having something helps you fight better." Something to make eyes lighter. She lived with Pokemon, serpents, her eyes could be dark, she still had a family. She didn't want to see what happened when a human's eyes got dark, they already hurt each other, so what could happen then? "My something is my family...I love them." A truth that was obvious, but she felt the need to say, "Is your something those lives? I can't imagine loving strangers, sorry." A separation. A beast. She had Pokemon, and would never falter, but she'd never be something like Illeana. She wanted Illeana to say something good. To be human and better. Not beast and worse.
