 Valerio was glad Rex followed with haste at the sight of a possible shark invasion in the fight right. After all, the young man craved much action he obviously wanted it for himself rather than the poor guy he bet on that was losing.

“Naua, block them with your ice move!” The kingdra then helped Rex’s pair by blasting the sea with ICE BEAM, enough to create a thick layer of cover to prevent the sharks from reaching the crowded area. “Grumpig, TEETER DANCE!” With the sound of dancing waves on water, the hog reinforced their defenses by making sure the shiver was incapacitated enough to reconsidering attack.

“That should be enough.” He assured Rex. “But you should know that you lost the deal so... enjoy.”

As Iris busied herself with the chesnaught, the gabite that caught Valerio’s attention. Drampa chased the fellow dragon FOCUS BLAST just as his trainer reached the weakened monster with his pokéball.

The rocket was caught off-guard by the girl’s question. “I was busy. Old rocket stuff. Why did you leave?”

“Dodge it, grumpig!” Valerio shouted, but he knew the hog was steps ahead of his strategy. Perhaps, it was the smartest pokémon from his team.

Valerio, behind the guise of a temporary identity named Simón, had been causing enough ruckus with as their grumpig and metagross went on full battle mode without having cognizance of the purpose they were sent to. But Simón was too careful not to mess up with the moods of two aggressive mons.

“Confuse it!” How the grumpig knew how to use attacks mid-air was still a mystery for his trainer. The hog landed behind the metagross who was beefed up with AGILITY and MAGNET RISE, and attempted a CONFUSE RAY on top of it.

Sobbles were kind of rare from where Jonathan—Valerio—came from, but not as rare as any other region where the man had been to. They were kind of staples in Galar, a customary starting pokémon guide for trainers across the region. It was such a delight that these Galarian imports had made their way into the safari zone.

Jonathan ordered the grumpig with a CONFUSE RAY—and was the sobble was incapacitated enough, the man threw his third safari ball.

The fearow that threatened afterwards was just a case of BOLT BEAK and DISCHARGE, nothing too fancy for Sphinx to be taken over. With the type advantage, the result was obvious. Valerio needed something that will take the dracozolt away from its comfort zone amd learn what kind of magic it had for his team.

There was an explosion.

No. Not exactly an explosion, but a burst of energy from its head. A psyduck waddled its way towards the pair, attacked the grumpig with its PSYBEAM which the hog successfuly fended with its MAGIC COAT. Jonathan had no intention to catch the psyduck, but his safari ball fell from his belt and fount its way rolling into the yellow avian’s foot. Before he knew it, red light surrounded the psyduck and all he could do was wait.

Among his latest entourage of dragon-types, it was Sphinx that Valerio had not yet seen in action. It was a huge mystery what this dual-type of electric and dragon affinity can do. And so like his usual hobby, he brought his dragon to a far-away place in the region to train.

Past the wild dreepy, a tyrogue followed the pair with a very taunting demeanor. As if challenging Jonathan’s grumpig to heed his challenge, the hog pokémon blasted the fighting-type with its PSYSHOCK before sending it to a deep sleep.

The pair continued their walk.
