While he did not dare touch any of the megalopolans beyond the first, the rest of the crew seemed to have things well in order. Being in such close proximity to the things as they were packed into a truck took some discipline, perhaps even an uncharacteristic amount. It was clear from his face that he had nothing but contempt and disgust for the creatures.

Watching in curious irritation as Doug lied about the one death the enemy suffered, his flygon lay curled by his ankle, just happy for the whole rotten mess to finally be over. His yanmega hovered over her charge's shoulder. Something was amiss, and even if she were just a simple bug, it could be felt hanging in the air.

''You know, if the League was that uptight about getting all of these prisoners, why the bloody hell did they even allow any old trainer to show up and do it?'' When you had a grab bag of participants, you had a grab bag of results. But what could Andy expect from the League. Despite the wording, there was some sincerity there. He could only imagine what things would have been like if someone such as Silph or Goode had been here personally. Perhaps in the former case there would have been far more megalopolan bodies. Perhaps in the latter case there would be more League bodies. Either way just by their presence, the aliens ruined everything.

The older teen didn't waste any time running off after his answer. Andy probably looked like a fool standing there for a moment before his date coaxed him over. While he didn't jog, his pace was brisk enough to be acceptable. Once in proximity again, a good portion of the rest of the youngsters in the line were giving the two the hairy eyeball.

While the Galarian was just a few milliseconds away from running off at the mouth at the lot of them, Doug stepped in. Perhaps it was coincidence, or perhaps he could already read the younger trainer well enough to see it coming. Although his date did jibe at the lot of the children with the promise that none were clever enough to match him.

Skirting the edges of the conflagration with his two airborne pokemon, the boy kept tried to direct Ravana and her hypnosis to any stragglers. Large sweeping moves weren't in his arsenal, at least not ones that weren't lethal. That made Draco little more than a mount. Granted, he also could employ sandstorm, just as Doug's flygon.

It wasn't needed here however. All the actual troopers seemed to be doing fine. With what the storm would permit showing him, they moved and acted like soldiers, unlike himself, at least in his own opinion. The bug trainer seemed to be moving with a coordination among his pokemon that was unnaturally good.

I wonder what trick he's using... A note was made mentally to ask him once the whole deal was over. There were a ton of these megalopolan vermin within the camp. The boy still couldn't see why his crush commander was upset about a single dead one. After all, what were the League to do with this whole lot once they had served their purpose?

Just more dirty deeds the League will never admit to. Still, part of him wanted to find Commissioner dahlia goode again and ask to be part of the uh, 'humane' extermination program that was doubtless taking place away from prying eyes. At least it had better be. Because as realistically gross as that was, the alternative to keep the swine alive was much darker.

Once again a racket in the trees drew his attention. Looking up he saw another chimchar playing above. But he already had one in tow for Hideo, and didn't have much use for another. Time for ghost hunting ghosts. Andy goes to the Mountain Pyre location. Again. For this he knows that many ghost types are here, rustling bushes before appearing. Just like last visit he brings an incense he magically found in a cave wall somewhere. It probably still works. He sets the smelly pot in a generic arboreal setting, but creepy a little. The smell is good to ghosts. It smells like afterlife.

Continuing on, the bushes rustled, as bushes are wont to do, and another pokemon appeared. It turned out to be another dedenne, which Andy was not really looking for. And so his hike through the well maintained grounds would continue until he found the elusive red duskull. Someone had mentioned such pokemon roamed in the safari zone. He had to see if it was true.
