More of their little organization, no pun intended, began to arrive.
Cardamom Bliss made an appearance. While
Hideo Kino seemed distracted for a moment by
Melody Miro , the also recently arrived
Eris Halla seemed to think it was odd the lot of them kept meeting up by coincidence. Was anything a coincidence anymore? Even Hideo didn't seem to think so.

''
We can't escape our fates,'' he said in agreement with the younger trainer, but there was a notable edge to his syllables, spoken as if it were a truth he hated.
Kaida Adachi pulls his thoughts from such frustrations by offering her protection. While otherwise admirable, Andy could not help but wonder if she was paying attention to their words.

If fate decreed they died, they died.

Rather than argue, a distinct voice reaching the Galarian's ears has him swivel his head to see
Katherine Fairburne . A smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth as the wonder passed through his mind if she was returning to the scene of the crime. Did her god want something here? A possibility, but if the youth had to guess, she was here for another slab above all else.

Bill Anderson references his earlier surly words, a curse was meant to teach a lesson. Hideo even agreed, but Andy replied with something akin to a glower. It wasn't for the DILF. It was for the lesson. The whole region had yet to learn a lesson and thus it would remain cursed. Who had the answer? Perhaps it was he, and the Tree of Life.
[break][break]
Perhaps he was a self-important fool.
[break][break]
The Father mentioned that someone was always watching, and the boy had to agree. He just had to wonder how much a deranged psychopath whatever entity really was. Hell, perhaps it really was Giratina pulling the strings at the rate things were going. Averting his chocolate hues for something less heady,
Rowan Wrynn and
Adrian Malcolm were spotted.
[break][break]
That must be his fellow. They had probably come for mysteries, or bonding, or both. What a pity it would be if one of them died. How much had things truly changed for him to consider Rowan Wrynn dying a pitiful occurrence? As the lot descended, he wondered how much more would change just by the end of the day.

The subterranean chamber was gorgeous, yet ominous. His cane thudding against the creaky floorboards echoed off the adorned walls. The crash of
John Sullivan taking a tumble drew his attention and his chuckle. It felt good to have a laugh again. His gengars joined it. Maybe even the scroll hadn't gotten there by accident. Gengar's were a prankster pokemon after all.
[break][break]
While the offer to help right the Captain crossed his mind, his fingers around the tip of his cane quickly reminded him he wasn't stable enough for such charities. Sobered, his gaze poured over the tomes and papers littering the room. If there had been more time, he might have liked to have a look at these in the hopes something might be contained about his vision. Alas...

''
Darkness.'' Came the whispered answer to
chryssa glasgow 's proclamation. The word still sent a shiver up his spine. Continuing, ill advised as it was, his broken gait halted as eyes peered from the darkness. A trainer of ghost pokemon, this was not an unfamiliar sight to the boy.
Kaida Adachi shouted that it was a monster. Even if unwise,
he was not afraid.
[break][break]
''
Gengar! Epitaph warned as the creature flexed threateningly, Lillith plucked the lame boy back away from the lasers and the flames with
poltergeist. While his white gengar retreated, hovering backwards, and
Hideo Kino graciously attempted to
reflect the ominous light away from him, the unknown threat's power still penetrated their efforts to tear at the wincing gengar.
[break][break]
Perhaps his
cursed body would prevent such an attack from being seen again.
[break][break]
Tumbling across the floor, the Blackadder boy collected himself staggering to his feet betwixt Bael and Lillith. However, he's close enough to
chryssa glasgow 's meowstic that he could read the title of her pilfered book. Even with all the present danger, with all that had transpired, he wondered if he too had become a hollowed man? Was all that within him replaced by a string of fate for him to be puppeteered into a future in which he had no control?
[break][break]
Clambering to his feet, it seemed as if reality around the lost souls warped and flexed into a plane of confusion and horror. It paled in comparison to being buried alive. Up until then, Andy had always thought himself immortal. Now that that had passed however,
he was certain. Only fate could bring death, damn it all.
[break][break]
Eris Halla wilting under the monster's assault was proof enough. Was she not important enough? Was he? Hand cramming into his pocket, he sought his trinket there. This was getting out of hand and it, like the coming darkness, was a storm that needed to be quelled. Maybe it had been a test all along. Damn whoever was watching for giving him no choice but to go along with it.
[break][break]
''
Bitch. You're gonna learn, Blackadders don't burn!''
kyle lopez would have little need for
taunt here. Cane was brandished at Bael, ''
Still this cunt!'' The morphing shadows bent to the gengar's will, his arms disappearing into transparency as
shadow claws quickly crept to grasp at the creature. Megastone in hand, Epitaph billowed into a frightening wispy specter that encapsulated his trainer and co.
[break][break]
''
Dinner time!'' The seemingly empty mouth parted, and a dark tongue lashed out from non-existence to attempt to ensnare the threat and further paralyze it in tandem with Bael. Snatching the mysterious entity towards it with force, if Epitaph managed to consume it within his
malicious maw, it would be spat out, drenched in an ectoplasm that would cause it to detonate in a ghostly explosion of chill as it slammed into the far wall.
