Reinculus and the their ilk were a priority target for the Head Ranger.

He was compelled beyond his limit for cuteness to capture the 'life-sized' amoeba.

However, called from his pokéball Tsukuyomi offered another means of recruitment.

"h e . h a s . v e r y . l o w . a t t a c k i n g . a b i l i t y ." Tilting his heavy head the Kadabra's eyes went cold blue psychically linking with the little permeable. "a l l o w . m e ."

Tsukuyomi's eyes normalized and the Duosion's eyes went wide and watered with a vulnerable glee, ready to become a pokémon on a team, as convinced by the Kadabra.

Crimsen attempted to befriend Duosion!

Calamity that's what the bear video reminded him of and the wild pokémon before him reminded him of the safe.

The exeggcute despite their psychic nature were generally speaking, terrified of fire-types, at least the Kantoian ones.

One flash of a Charizard's wings and the egg cluster knocked and bumped one another trying to escape, cracking themselves in places and knocking out cold.

Amaterasu's dominant INFERNO passed over the sleeping eggs knocking out a steel-type in the short distance.

Crimsen attempted to capture Bronzong!

In Hoenn, even more so than Kanto, he burned his hottest through the winter and hibernated through spring only to wake again with the summer heat.

Autumn marked the start of his peak activity for the year.

When he got active, he started hunting.

Clamping down with the other hand Sénon kept his Inkay from blooping through the air to attack the larger version of itself, a Malamar itself blooping by through the sky.

He also made the movement of a frosslass in the distance but he had one of those already.

Slipping his restraints the Inkay went of a spree of DISABLE taking away the malamar's ability to fight back and leaving it prone to capture.

Crimsen attempted to capture Malamar!

Outside of the treehouse utopia that was Fortree City, a single snorlax tested the boundaries of human kindness in an attempt to nap in just the right place under the sun.

For hours now, no one could come and no one could go with a massive mound of snorlax blocking the only accessible entryway to the city (at this moment and time for some reason).

It looked happy resting in the warmth with some sun on its face and not far from it, a redheaded man laid back in recline as well.

The force emanating from the encircling lights seemed to hold him down. A slave to gravity's will, the more he struggled, the more dense the force weighed down on him.



"those are my babies," he heard Cait say it again.

Turning away from the lights he watched her move away from him to go to her children; too fast for his heavy arms to reach out to her in time.

The throaty cry at his back turned his focus away from Cait just long enough for her to disappear behind a thick passing of pink mist.

"Cait!" as if responding to being ignored, the strange cry called out to him again. From beyond the borders that marked his reality, from what felt like another plane entirely.

A gaping, hole the size of a man burned through spacetime, through reality by the two cutting constructs of light.



The longer his eyes lingered on the hole the louder the cry became. Reminiscent of the ROAR he'd heard back at the "edge of time".

Identical to what he'd heard in Sootopolis.

The vibrations of the strange cry drifting through space into his mind disorientated him, leaning him into what could only be a tear in the fabric of reality.

Just beyond its borders; an eye just as large, opened and fixed on him.



Saw, him.

The cadets fell in to report a mission complete.

-they found the missing Boltund and it was an excited pup, ready to get back to its person.

Before it slipped his mind, the Red Redheaded Head Ranger circled back around to the first thing Lars'd said.

His face twisted into a bit of a slack-jawed, gap-mouthed scowl. "Who do you think he works for?"

Like a moth to a flame it only took a moment for the first psychic to wander in, drawn to the burning incense.

He was only slightly taken aback by what showed up first.


Given the weeks it took to come across another one of these and the second-hand recounting of the unown swarm, he was primed not to let blow this window of capture.

"I know exactly what I'm going to call you." His hand disappeared behind his jacket before flinging out a pokéball to cut off the unown's escape.

Not that it looked like it was trying to escape, its disposition implied it wasn't trying to do anything. That made it quick work for his fastest pokémon and its onslaught of FURY CUTTER.

When he was done staring his trainer into a psychic abyss Inkay took to another battle using a well placed NIGHT SLASH to weaken the popped-up teacup pokémon that wandered by from the wilds.

From his side of it, it was like being slapped with a wet fish because you let your guard down.



Except Sénon hadn't let his guard down, he'd been on fucking guard this whole time! How did he get slapped with that fish?!

Once again, his Gameface was what held him together as he sat down for Cait's prayer. He'd been born with it actually; ugly kid. It was the only face he could make until well into his childhood. When he'd been born the doctor studied his unflinching unresponsive stare and told his mother he was dead.

His was a tale (and face) of no tells.

Mechanically, the redhead twisted off the lid of the air sealed jar of jam with a satisfying 'pop' before handing it over.
