Time had shifted. Merrick Prescott was dead. While things were still signed in his name, Summer was the new owner of the industry. Which meant a trip to POG Bank.

She had sent a message to Martín del Mar before she got ready, to make sure that he was there before she made the trip to the Upper District. The things she wanted to discuss were of rather confidential matters, and while she trusted that he made his bankers and tellers keep an oath of silence...

Summer only wanted to speak to him. Besides, he was her friend, and she wanted his opinion and guidance as she changed things over to her name and expanded.

While she was out, she intended to settle a deposit for a home that she and Casey Fincher agreed on in Dewford as well. Strike two birds with one stone, as they said. Dressed professionally as ever, Summer entered the bank, announcing that she had an appointment with the POG Bank CEO himself.

"Ah, Miss Prescott! Right this way, ma'am!" a man said, escorting her quickly to a closed door.

With a knock and announcement, Summer strutted inside, flashing a smile.

"Hello, Mr. del Mar. It's a pleasure to see you at work for once," she said, teasing with formalities.

While most people would be expected to take care of all their banking needs online or at the bank branch that is most closely available to them, when Summer Atreides ventures into the main branch of Piazza Oro Grande Bank with its marble floors and beautiful Magikarp pond, she has the pleasure of being escorted up to the heights of the bank’s corporate headquarters.

There, near the last floor, in a place that speaks of both wealth and elegance, is the office of P.O.G Bank’s CEO. Who, when seeing her, greets her with a slight yet playful smirk from the comfort of his leather chair. Behind him, floor-to-ceiling windows give a spectacular view of Staleport’s harbour.

”That’s because you rarely stop by my office, Miss Prescott.” He teases in return, and after gesturing for his assistant to close the door behind her, he returns his attention back to his dear friend.

”How have you been doing? Drink?”

Nearby, by a white couch on which a Persian naps, there’s a bar cart stocked with the most exquisite of liquor bottles.

"Hmm. A shame. I would've loved to enjoy the view with you," she pointed out, her gaze trailing behind him to the vastly tall windows behind him.

Even with this space being an office, she was sure he could entertain as well in the room. It looked welcoming enough for a few guests, if he moved a few things around...

"Next time, perhaps we can meet in my office," Summer added as a joke, chuckling.

Honestly, though she knew it may take a few times to get things correct and controlled with her ideas, she hoped that she wouldn't be seeing Mars for banking more than she had to.

"I'm well. Busy. Running a business isn't easy, as you know. Which is why I'm here. But I also have a personal investment I'd like your help with."

Summer glanced at the offered drinks behind her. She knew she couldn't have them. But how suspicious would it come off to her friend when she denied one?

"I'll pass on the drinks. Thank you, though."

Summer Atreides knows Mars better than a lot of people, she may not know of his pasts or of his true motivations, but she does know he’s incredibly careful and meticulous. This, of course, leads him to be an observant man, and it means that when people do things differently than what he has come to expect from them, he sure as hell takes notice.

Yes, he takes mental note of the fact that Summer refuses a drink, but he does not ask about it, nor does he seem to react in any manner. He simply looks at her, still smiling.

Summer laughed, shrugging.

"Well, I have a lot of my funds still saved away, and my father's funds are still stored as well. Which is why I need your help. He recently passed. And now, those funds need to be transferred."

She barely took a breath as she continued to talk.

"However, I don't want them to come to my personal account. I wish to expand Prescott Industries beyond just Mauville. And I wanted to use those funds as a means to get there," she elaborated, her hand moving around as she spoke.

"Yet, I'm new to this side of things, Mars. I always handled the other side of my father's business. Been a face, talked and entertained his guests. I never did the banking, investment, the money side of it. Which is why I knew I could come to you for help."
