Rover came waddling down the road from Mauville, where Adrian had dropped it off after reading some bulletin post about a PokeJob. Apparently they'd become all the rage, but Vileplume only understood one thing: It needed to nurture some flowers for the upcoming Valentine's Day.

Its squat legs left it roughly at the height of these very flowers it was looking for, and it managed to pick up a few intriguing daisies along the way to Verdanturf Town, although they all paled in comparison to the thriving ecosystem of this aromatic garden town... Rover was in love.

Its sickly sweet nectar began to saturate the air with its scent, attracting pokemon from all directions, a beacon for any helpers who might've tarried along the way. And then it waited.

A job to do was always an important job, regardless of the danger or ease. At least she wasn't sent to dwell in a daycare for a few days this time! The Servine, Freki, could burst with pride as she darted towards the sweet smelling town, in particular, a sickly sweet smell.

And she wasn't one to wait, once she reached the beacon of a Vileplume. She offered only a cursory look before diving into her work, tail shimmering with a green glow as she saw a problem. There were weeds among some flowers! These humans were not like Kaida at all! How did they live so incompetent! How did they survive!

She cracked her tail, and with rather impressive dexterity, started ripping up and chopping uneccessary plants, practically ignoring any and all Pokemon that arrived. They could take care of the more delicate tasks of caring for plants.

Grace truly enjoyed nature, but she also enjoyed making people happy. This was the culmination of both of those joys. Flowers were so pretty and people this time of year seemed to appreciate them more and more. With a gentle stride forwards, almost like there was a literal skip in her step, she held the flowers in her hands with the gentlest of touches. She seemed to hardly even apply any weight to the ground as she moved, the grass and flowers beneath her feet mostly undisturbed.

She could have used her psychic abilities to place them all with speed, but nothing seemed to match the mere joy of placing it by hand. Styling it just right, at the perfect angle to make people smile at the sight. It was an art. Grace certainly wasn't perfect at it, however, but her optimism and sheer desire to help outweighed the minor mistakes that she made along the way.

As she slowly walked around Verdanturf, a flower pot in hand with a gorgeous flower inside of it, the Gardevoir hummed as she tried to figure out a place to put it. After a few seconds, she suddenly smiled and placed the flower pot on the corner of somebody's fence. She thought it looked incredibly gorgeous right where it was, even though it wasn't entirely stable. Forgetting that most individuals aren't nearly as graceful and gentle as she was, she quickly moved away to help arrange a few more across town.

After the success of her first job at Castanet Studios, Florian hadn't hesitated to sign Jonquille up for another job as soon as a suitable opening had become available.

The tiny fairy with her ring of flowers was delighted to have such trust placed in her and took her task incredibly seriously.

Almost immediately upon realising her talents of rejuvination, the Comfey is assigned to the task of brightening up some of the arrangements that needed a little extra touch. Perhaps it might be alarming to see her pluck the flowers from their carefully-arranged positions, but they were replaced just as delicately with their vitality renewed.

What arrangements the Comfey attended to would emit a tantalizing scent, as well. The aromatherapy mingles with the sweet scents emitted by the Vileplume, strengthening both. As she works, a grassy terrain begins to bloom around her workstation, refreshing any nearby.

Alec's Sunflora was happy and eager to help with her job that Alec had signed her up for. Then again, she was always like that. After all, she wasn't called the Sun Pokemon for nothing! She stood in front of her work station and had began to take in a light breath of air and breathed out before she began her duty.

"Suuuuuuuunnnnflooooora!"

She sang in a delight tone from her voice, performing Sunny Day which made the sunlight much more brighter. Then she had began to take leaf-like arms and had gently placed them on the already moist soil in front of her, now using Flower Shield. It was then beautiful clusters of flowers began to quickly grow rapidly with the help of Hana's Chloraphyll ability.

After that was finished, Hana had marveled over work merrily, clapping her leaf like hands together, obviously thrilled that she was able to make beautiful flowers.

It's a wonderful day to spend outside, and an even better day to spend tending to flowers. Avery had been over the moon to assign Roserade to help with tending to the local gardens. Roserade was a huge fan of flowers, and her bashful nature could be helped by tucking her in close with other people's Pokemon. She hoped it might bring her out of her shell a bit.[break][break]

Turns out, it had worked, especially given the help of a Sunflora's

sunny day

and a Comfrey's

grassy terrain

. Together, they made the atmosphere all that much calmer and sweeter. Speaking of, the aroma of flowers and Pokemon alike was a mood-boost in itself.[break][break]

As a result, Roserade finds it easy to fit in and get along with the others, and, while it seems one or two Pokemon prefer to work alone, she's overjoyed to settle in next to a beautiful Gardevoir. [break][break]

Roserade nestles into the soft ground to encourage

growth

as a result of her own body. So, while she herself grows a little bigger, her nutrients and strength pours into the nearby plants and helps them grow as well.[break][break]

In doing so, she also emits a lovely

sweet scent

as a result of her happiness.[break][break]

Looking at the larger pokemon around him, Kitaro can't help but feel slightly intimidated - especially when he thinks back to his somewhat cold-looking trainer. His anxiety quickly fades away though as he looks over at the growing flowers, becoming enamored by them. Fear slightly gone, he musters his courage together and begins scanning around to see where exactly he can help out.

Realizing that there's not much in his arsenal that he could use to help, he waddles over to the Gardevoir and with his tiny hands begins to help out with the floral arrangements - his admiration towards nature growing as a result. While somewhat amateurish, he does manage to arrange together a nice display after careful selections. Kitaro turns to look at the roserade with a bright grin on his face as he sets a second vase next to the Gardevoir's feeling rather accomplished with himself.

The Floette had just wanted to dance around this one Trainer's garden, but it seemed that fate had other plans. The Trainer had offered them a covenant, if they stuck with him, they could stay at the garden all they wanted so long as they didn't accidentally slice off the vines on the plants anymore. The Trainer had been keeping tabs on the Floette's dancing, helping to teach it where was too close that it would be dangerous to the plants. As the Floette had no intentions of damaging that which it loved, it paid heed to these instructions carefully. A bond formed over time with this, and the Floette was happy to oblige when its new Trainer asked it a boon.

Floette was thrilled to find out though, that this boon involved, in what orders it did understand, was tending to flowers. Why did the Trainer make such a big deal of this? Floette was happy to!

The smell of a nectary scent caught its attention once it arrived at the spot, and the Floette couldn't help but head its way...

It didn't take long for the Floette to get started. This was its specialty, after all, and it loved flowers!
