SETTING: LATE SEPTEMBER
THIRD DAY OF THE WAR
FREED FROM TENTACLES
FROM THE DARKENED SKY, mclaren mcflurry descends on her swift Steelix. An
IRON TAIL strikes a Nihilego tail as
BLIZZARDS whip across the tentacles. Her Golem strikes the quaking tentacle holding
skyler dross's Salamence, for it is far too large to be struck down entirely. The tentacle drops, releasing the captain's dragon.[break][break][break]
The Fortree Gym Leader,
Alexei Ivanov, navigates the horrid
HAIL. As he swings toward the iced Nihilego, the remnants of his previous feather continue to fade. They glow briefly, their purple and green hues dissipating into dust as
Olivia Abbiati and
Billi Marsh are freed in a dramatic gale. Afterward, he drops them off on the northern boat.[break][break][break]
While
skyler dross's Slowbro attempts to save
Celeste Abbiati, her Lapras is consumed in the brilliant light of mega evolution. With a stunning
G-MAX RESONANCE the closest Nihilego, impaled by a harpoon, eventually succumbs to its injuries and begins to sink into the sea.[break][break][break]

As
Billi Marsh's Corviknight is freed by
mclaren mcflurry's courageous assault, his other Pokemon scramble to free the others. Using his Ariados'
STICKY WEB cleverly, ensnaring several tentacles as his Galvantula fires
GASTRO ACID from between his mandibles.[break][break][break]
When
Celeste Abbiati's Wailord
BOUNCES, it lands with a terrible crash. While Vespiquen and Jellicent attempt to free their allies,
Olivia Abbiati's Primarina and Celeste Abbiati's Espurr faint as they are released from the clutches of the Nihilego, the injuries they have sustained too much for them gain consciousness. Thankfully,
Celeste Abbiati is freed alongside her relative thanks to the collective efforts of everyone else and her own Pokemon.[break][break][break]
Ethel Irving manages to make the jump with her Galarian Mr. Mime. As her Emolga helps free
Billi Marsh's Corviknight, their leap onto
skyler dross's Wailord goes unnoticed... perhaps, because of the terrible sight that transpires above.[break][break][break]
As @dani attempts to free her friend from the tentacles, the Nihilego holding
hunter warren tightens its gelatinous limbs. A tentacle that would have lunged for
Ethel Irving instead snatches @dani instead. As
hunter warren's ribs are crushed under the sheer pressure the Ultra Beast exhibits, @dani finds herself ensnared by the same fate. As their bodies are brought together, they are given enough time to spare each other a few words, a few glances, before darkness overtakes them.[break][break][break]
A spray of blood showers down from the limbs and onto the deck of the norther ship. The fallen trainers' Pokemon wail as they scramble away, before they too, are scalped by the Nihilego tentacles.[break][break][break]
THE SHIP
AS BLOOD MIXES WITH HAIL, the ship manages to break free momentarily. Two Nihilego remain, perusing through their latest prey before eventually making their way toward the ship. As the vessel attempts to move closer to the
SEASIDE TOWN, Megalopolans from the islands hop into their ships.
Olivia Abbiati's Cradily manages to
ANCIENT POWER a couple— but not before several sneak their way to the sides of the ship.[break][break][break]
skyler dross would notice they are being boarded by Megalopolan "pirates." As several swing down on to the deck with Naganadel, some League soldiers find themselves swiftly over taken. After being stunned by batons, their throats are torn out by bloodied teeth.[break][break][break]
Naganadel swoop down, firing poison from their needles at trainers and their Pokemon as other Megalopolan troops attempt to overtake
skyler dross at the wheel. They still have time.[break][break][break]
NORTH & SOUTH
IN THE SOUTH, oscar clayton and
priam conrad manage to escape the chaos. The former's Pokemon manage to avoid the chaos of the Nihilego, a
SWIFT SWIMMING Kingdra helping to ferry Haxorus through the sea. As the boat begins to burst through the dark waters thanks to a
DRAGON PULSE, an
AIR SLASH helps stall the Buzzwole briefly.
evangeline's rush to the boat
ian oak mans is covered by a Tentacruel's stunning
SLUDGE WAVE, and her Pokemon's endless onslaught allows her boat and
oscar clayton's boat to begin their respective journeys.[break][break][break]
However, the Buzzwole is more concerned with someone else. The muscular Ultra Beast tears across the
ELECTRO WEB of
Selena Desmarais's Tapu Koko. Although it seems to be restrained momentarily, it is able to power through with its new vitality to chase after her and her Milotic. Altaria's
DISARMING VOICE agitates it even further.[break][break][break]
IN THE NORTH, ALEXANDER STONE, @sanvi,
Orion Lykos, and
Kaida Adachi attempt to flee the Buzzwole. With empowered strength, the Buzzwole seems unphased by the knife embedded in its wings and the swirling flame. Despite their best attempts to abandon the Buzzwole, this Ultra Beast is much too fast to truly ditch.[break][break][break]
Near
DAPHNE STONE and
Andrew Fisher,
Sénon Game lands with a sudden crash of sand and flame on his Charizard. While
DAPHNE STONE's Garchomp watches her Blissey fruitlessly attempt to put the Buzzwole to sleep, the song distracts the beast long enough for
Sénon Game's Nincada to dig a
PITFALL underneath the beast.
ICE BEAMS attempt to freeze the Buzzwole's wings as
Andrew Fisher's Pokemon coordinate their attacks. Nidoqueen and Archeops attempt to restrain the Ultra Beast, striking the proboscis as Nidoking encourages its partners.[break][break][break]
Parting shots from @iris and
Noelle Lane allow their party to move ahead further. With
noah faber and
June Fair rushing at the vanguard,
STONE EDGES and
ICE BEAMS crystallizing against Megalopolan forces explode around them like artillery fire.[break][break][break]
BUZZWOLE & SPEED BOATS
AHEAD OF THE LANDBOUND GROUPS IN THE NORTH AND SOUTH, evangeline,
ian oak,
priam conrad,

Noelle Lane,
noah faber,
June Fair and @iris would find themselves being confronted by more Megalopolan speedboats. In the distance, the trammels can be seem more visibly, their cubical make something they have never seen before. As
priam conrad's Espeon manages to cause a boat to crash into a nearby rock formation, they find themselves dealing with a battalion of Megalopolan naval forces.[break][break][break]
On speed boats, they rush toward each group, firing Naganadel poisons from the crest of each vessel. Several that make the shore will lunge for your characters, swinging
STUN BATONS to incapacitate them for a follow-up killing blow.[break][break]
Sénon Game,
DAPHNE STONE, and
Andrew Fisher would notice that finally, the proboscis seems to be sustaining damage. Although initially, it did impervious to damage, a threshold has been past. Likewise,
Kaida Adachi, @sanvi,
Orion Lykos, and
ALEXANDER STONE would notice the same should they attack the Buzzwole— for the Ultra Beast does not give up its pursuit.[break][break][break]

Through the sands, the Buzzwole
DYNAMIC PUNCHES ALEXANDER STONE's Salamence downward. He spirals downward, careening toward the sands below. Afterward, it attempts to seize anyone or their Pokemon before
firing hot, acidic liquid in rapid succession toward the group. Similarly, the one restrained by
Sénon Game,
DAPHNE STONE, and
Andrew Fisher would find the same thing happening. The Buzzwole attempts seize anyone close before shooting
hot, melting acid from its proboscis.[break][break][break]
Likewise, the Buzzwole chasing
Selena Desmarais will attempt to
melt her and her Milotic down with its acid before attempting to grapple her.[break][break][break]
THE SEA
THE OCEAN GROANS, and the waves roll with something ominous as Velmos' trammels extract power from the rock islands.[break][break][break]

- If you miss too many rounds by failing to post by the deadline, you will either be kicked and/or receive minimal rewards.
- The Ultra Beasts in these raids will not be exactly the same as their previous iterations on the site.

All their effort amounted to was delaying the inevitable realization that they were completely outmatched by this monster. It showed it how easy it was for it to shake off their attacks and proceed to launch its own assault, sending multiple Pokémon flying.

things were looking to be better, with the beast seemingly feeling the effects of their blows. still, it wasn't enough, and she dared not to let any of her pokemon dash in without being certain of successful results. so turning to the two men accompanying her, she shouts "brace yourselves or a sandstorm!"
