After diving beneath the ocean's waves, and swimming through a thick forest of kelp, the pair emerged within the underwater cavern safely. Remiel, who had placed a rebreather in his mouth prior to mounting his Carracosta, removed the handy device before pocketing it away and slicking back his dripping hair. He hated being wet in his normal day-to-day clothes, but there was nothing to be done about it for now.[break][break]

The path ahead was quite literally just a water route, interspersed with outcrops of rock just large enough to fit two or three people. If they wanted to set their feet on dry land soon, it appeared they would have to swim forward some ways to find it. "Are you well to move forward?" Remiel asked, turning to Razz.[break]

As they finally emerged from the deep dive of the water the Ranger began to wonder if it was a good idea for himself. Unlike the other he didn't really have any water pokemon before their exploring the island, heck it was why he was using a Metang to travel the sea. So for now he was going off luck. Like it was luck that he was able to bribe the Sharpedo with a rematch with Cobalt if they were willing to help him out in going down. It was luck the shark knew DIVE which allowed him to even take him down without the need of a diving mask. It was a bit unsettling at first going in without a plan, but there was a bit of a satisfaction that things were working out. [break][break]

Well save for some of the water he had to spit out as the Sharpedo clearly wasn't used to a rider. The shark growled at him as they both spun around the calm water, "You can have the rematch after okay?" he promised the Sharpedo who grumbled but agreed for now. Though as if on que Sage decided to pop right on out of his pokeball and onto Razz's head exclaiming something that made the shark laugh while Chespin pouted. Razz let the two spat as he tried to ring out his clothes a bit. [break][break]

"Besides the wet clothes and their bickering, perfectly fine so let the mystery continue."

That Chespin was rather unruly. But Remiel didn't exactly look down upon it. It simply reminded him of simpler times.[break][break]

His blue-grey eyes, darker in the dim light of the cavern, flicked back to Razz when he responded. With a nod and a slight kick of his heels, the royal prompted Proteus to swim forward with one giant stroke of his fins. Almost immediately after he did so, however, an Archen suddenly swooped down to try and take a CRUNCH of Remiel.[break][break]

One swift blur of motion later and it would suddenly find itself hanging upside-down. Remiel had managed to grab its legs with one hand and hold it up as it frantically flapped its wings and snapped its jaws. If Razz was worried, he shouldn't be. "I've plenty of experience with Archen. But it'd be most interesting to discover how one ended up here." He spoke, reaching to the back of his belt for an empty ball.[break]

The ranger couldn't help but be impressed as the ambassador just caught the rock bird ass if it were nothing. Part of him worried for the both of them, Remiel obviously as pokemon could always be dangerous, the Archen as if Remiel could just grab a pokemon in such away what else do they do? "That was really impressive actually, I'm guessing you have one that can be a bit of a handful?" he couldn't help but ask as Sage clapped a bit obviously impressed as well. Both of them distracted so they weren't following the wiggling rock below them. [break][break]

The Sharpedo however did not miss barnacle pokemon swimming under the water it was quick to move it s fins and attempted to go down and chase it. Shit shit shit! was his panic as he held onto the sharpedo's dorsal fin and stomped down on the pectoral fins to prevent it from going down. For the moment ignoring the Rough Skin it had. Sage was quick to move as he jumped from his trainer's head and punch the shark in the nose which got them to finally stop. "You know knocking us off is not a way to get what you want later," he tells the shark who seems annoyed but tilts slightly in surrender as Razz remove his legs from the pectoral fins. [break][break]

It seemed the commotion did make the Binacle swim away in panic not that Razz minded too much. "Look you want to fight something thats fine, eat something that's fine too, just wait until we find some land first," he orders to which the Sharpedo grunts in agreement for now. Honestly Razz didn't expect much from the shark as he literally just caught it this morning, and before he captured it was trying to eat him. Though has a show of trust he does bring out a potion to spray the Sharpedo and heal some of it's wounds. [break][break]

Even as they pass a dormant Mareanie on a rock, the Carracosta is unperturbed and unalarmed as it navigates their way forward.[break][break]

After Razz and his Sharpedo avoid an accident with a Binacle, Remiel turns over his shoulder to acknowledge the pair. "Sharpedo are quick swimmers. They just don't do well in enclosed spaces and a limited speed." He adds.[break]

"Dragons? Is that what you train most?" Razz can't help but ask this time focusing a bit more on Sharpedo's movements as they strolled along. The ranger made note of sleeping teal pokemon as they were about to pass it. He paused as he scanned the walls as at quick speeds some weird rolling rock was rolling along the wall. Seeming to try to test the speed it's wheel could take it. Though as it seemed to faulter it pushed itself off the wall and was about to land on the slumbering pokemon. Before thinking Razz reacted and tapped the teal haired thing with his pokeball to avoid the rolling rock coming at it. Whether it would ding or not wasn't really his concdern as the rock type used the rock it was on before jumping back to the walls and rolling again. [break][break]

'Why were all these unknown pokemon in Hoenn?' was his main thought as the continued along. [break][break]

Part of him wants to groan on the explanation of Sharpedo, as this was one pokemon that he was aware of, but considering his screw up he didn't feel confident with replying with 'I know.' "Well there's that and the fact that I just caught him up in the caves up top, literally no time to be worth listening to for him," he comments, not going unnoticed how on edge Sharpedo seemed to be for going so annoyingly slow.

Otherwise I can provide at least one alternative mount for our seafaring adventure." He adds, turning a corner upon Proteus before setting eyes on a Solrock wandering over the surface of the water. He reaches into his pack for an empty ball. "To answer your question, however: yes. Dragon taming has been in my family for generations. I raise many myself."[break][break]

He tosses the ball at the strange floating pokémon ahead of them. The ball plops into the water below after its light devours the Solrock, after which Proteus scoops it up into his beaked mouth for Remiel to retrieve. "I'm building a draciary just north of Rustboro. Care to see it when it's finished?"[break]

"Don't give him ideas," Razz jested though as he leaned a bit he did see the look in the Sharpedo's eye as if the shark was considering it for a moment. "Unless he doesn't want that rematch," comments as if still talking to Remiel but it seemed they were smart enough to understand the implications. It seems their pride was injured having lost and now wanted another fight. Which at the moment wasn't going to happen as Razz still needed a way back home after this and Cobalt was his ride. [break][break]

After the warning there was a bit of laughing, or perhaps in this case quacking, from a Golduck from the water seeming to be amused at the tamed shark who was quick to anger and seemed to try to move, but this time Sage decided to take the stage with SEED BOMB at the Golduck's head pausing the Sharpedo from attacking. When Sage landed on Sharpedo after the attack he seemed to communicate something to them which seemed to go well between the two. Weird but they were getting along, Razz decided to take out a pokeball and toss it at the fainted Golduck thinking having it around might find a way for Sage and Sharpedo to get along better down the line. [break][break]

"Thats really cool about the dragon pokemon both for training and the sanctuary, and I'd love to visit, thanks for the invite sorry I don't really have anything to offer for the invite though," he chuckles not sure why the man would want him there as they just met this morning. Though if nothing else he was enjoying the other's company.

The dark cave's river was beginning to grow wider now. The rocks jutting out from its surface began to appear more frequently. This could only mean they were drawing closer to solid land, Remiel thought. Whatever had escaped them on the island would likely be surprised with their presence here.[break][break]

Regarding his conversation with Razz, however, Remiel nonchalantly shrugs. "You needn't offer anything. Hoenn's ranger union is an organization that I have much respect for. The chance to strengthen ties between it and any of its members is not one that I take for granted." He adds, noting the presence of a pokémon nearby and pointing towards it. "On your right."[break]

Razz found himself holding onto the Sharpedo a bit tighter as the shark seemed to impulsively pick up speed as the path was expanding. He wasn't going to discourage it, as he had no plans to go against the pokemon's very nature. So for now he just listened to the other as he talked about strengthening ties and what not. Sounded so official really which he shouldn't be surprised about. "Wouldn't strengthening ties with someone more of weight be better though?" he can't help but ask, in his head it seemed to be little effective to invite him. There was a reason why companies and stuff just did businesses with higher ups. [break][break]

At the warning he just gave a whistle prompting Sage to leap to action with a POISON JAB as a Shellder who seemed to try and jump them from Razz's blind spot. Finishing the job with SEEB BOMB before Razz caught him again now being able to see what had attack. The ranger decided to use a pokeball to attempt to catch it. "Thanks for that, right side I'm quite literally blind to," he chuckles lightly as he pointed to the headband that covered that side of his face.
