Emma didn't get far through Genesect's path through the ceiling before deciding to stop. Even if she did catch up to it, she would never be able to take on this thing on her own. She's seen its power, if she wanted to subdue this thing she would need back up. Thus she would retreat, heading back from whence she came.

Emma reappeared in front of Oscar, tapping his knee while he was distracted by the damaged . Oscar jumped at her touch, looking toward her with spite. "You didn't need to fuckin' do that! I nearly shat myself." Ariados didn't match his anger like she usually did, instead laying herself onto the ground in a splayed out manner. Oscar's expression darkened, this practiced gesture meant only one thing: Emma needed back up, and lots of it.

A short time later Emma would be gathered with various others of her kind, Shadow pokemon with a lust for vengeance and glory. These gathered few would continue the hunt themselves, forging a warpath toward Genesect until the damn thing no longer functioned. Or at least gave up. Preferably until it gave up, it looks expensive and it would be a waste destroy it.

Emma looked to the Shadow Squad, waiting for them to finish their preparations before they departed.

Before departing from the dormitories to oversee evacuation and repairs, Gavin releases a shadow Aerodactyl to join the hunt alongside Oscar's Ariados. The DARK PREDATOR knows how to select and hunt a target, and its crystalline jaws drip with saliva as it anticipates prey.

Chase, Gavin had ordered, don't harm.

In the confines of the submarine, Aerodactyl can use its wings only in the broader corridors and larger rooms. Here in the dormitories, it lopes around on its back legs and clawed wings, ungainly but eager in pursuit of its goal.

Gavin has worked with both and in the past, and Aerodactyl recognizes its fellow shadow Pokemon as allies. It scratches at the ground with its talons, the sound like nails on a chalkboard, as it waits for Ariados to start the hunt.

In approximately the same motion that Emma had stepped forward to take Serena under her wing, she releases Mephisto to accompany the rest of the shadow Pokemon assigned to locate the Genesect. The Pokemon rumbles, a lust for the hunt reflected in his red eyes. It wastes no time in pursuing 's Ariados and 's Aerodactyl. Though while they are far more mobile in terms of climbing walls and flying- he makes up for in speed and creativity.[break][break]

With a deep breath, Mephisto drinks in the smell of metal and electricity. There is an abundance of water and oil permeating in the air. The smell of fear, of blood, of pain.[break][break]

Emma the ariados looked upon her allies with firm respect. These pokemon were putting themselves on the line for the good of their trainers, and god damn if it didn't make this shadow warrior almost feel a twinge of emotion. Almost. She turned away from her fierce fellow soldiers, looking in the direction of Genesect. With her thermal vision, she could see it in the distance. She couldn't tell what it was doing exactly, but hopefully it didn't involve repairing itself. Though how it would be able to repair itself without arms she did not know.



Emma stomped her legs, letting out a shriek as she pointed toward the direction of the figure. Her battle cry echoed across the halls, a chilling omen of the oncoming hunt. After revving herself up, Emma leapt onto the wall ad crawled into the hole Genesect left in the ceiling. Any of her companions were free to follow her, but if they had other ways to track down the creature they were free to go their own routes. 



Nothing can save the Genesect now, the forces of Hell were upon it.

The shadows of the dormitory level seemed to quiver like a wave of goosebumps on flesh. Something preternatural stalks its partially flooded hallways and sleeping areas. Hearing the scratch of talons upon the metallic flooring, this presence moves soundlessly towards the rest of its companions.[break][break]

A hole like an iron wound oozing oil and water. 's Ariados enters it before 's Decidueye steps out from the shadow against the wall. Should they turn back to see, it presents itself to the others remaining with a single wing outstretched. Though its guard never falters. It senses the emptiness within their hearts. It knows precisely what they are, having trained against their type frequently.[break][break]

Through unspoken communication, common to pokémon (even those reborn as shadow), Tell conveys his intention to support. It waits for the others to choose their route, however, before taking the rear. When it is time to go, the spectral archer flies upward into the hole and seamlessly slinks into the shadows on the floor above (PHANTOM FORCE). Then it waits, and listens.[break]

notes: Decidueye takes up the rear and flies into the hole. It enters the shadow of the hallway above with Phantom Force and runs a perception check.

Beepin does not enter from the same point as the shadows. She comes from the infirmary, clawing her way on all fours as she follows the scent of blood and battle towards the other pokemon. She is not a Shadow, emotions cut off, like the leaders of their troupe- but she is vicious and savage and frothing drool slips down pink and cream fur as she charges for them. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and scorned she was- no one who hurt her Trainer on her watch.

The sounds of the other pokemon slowly drew closer, the Skitty body seeming to hold much more weight than it should, claw marks too large as they poked holes in the thin metal. Beepin was violent and crazed and frantic, sure, but she would make it clear enough she was on the other pokemon's sides in this, at least.
