"What, do they got you admins working on call all the time?" It sounded like they were increasingly busy of late, not that this was necessarily a constant. Though maybe for some it was just part of working for a crime syndicate.

Kind of like being the manager at some lousy joint; the big guys upstairs pinned the responsibilities how they saw fit (on anyone but themselves.)

"Maybe I'll go there sometime..." But the holidays kept him on a busy schedule, and he doubted he would have time.

Speaking of going, though... Adrian pretends to answer his phone unexpectedly, jamming his fingers against the touch screen to give a sense of urgency. After a couple minutes it should be clear the problem is persistent, and Adrian feigns reluctance while turning to Martin.

"Something came up, I gotta jet..." Aside from the whole Rocket gig, Martin would know that Adrian was a busy man; being a contest announcer was just one of the side hustles that he knew about. Imagine what else he got up to in his own time... "Hope ya find the Big One."
