Callan Young good question. There is no right or wrong answer. Even today, the qualifications are up for debate.

As a representative of the League, we entrust you to award your badges within the scope of your best judgement. As long as it makes sense within your assessment, award or deny them as you see fit.

However this train of thinking only works within a vacuum. You represent one out of many. As a collective, trainers who are able to earn our badges are trainers who earn recognition, confidence, and credentials on a regional platform.

It is very possible for trainers to understand the fundamentals and purpose of our challenges without being a strong trainer. I have met trainers who have multiple badges but are unable to battle or lack the battle strength expected from someone of their qualifications. While these trainers may be good people and understand the concepts we look to instill, in times of crisis, we are setting them up for failure.

In times of need, we may have to look at trainers who have distinguished themselves to assist us. Those who have made significant progress on the Gym circuit will be the first that we will look

When I got the news from dahlia goode 's office, I screamed louder than I thought was possible! There's a staggering amount of real talent to pick from in the Minor League, and I am truly honored to be part of your proper ranks now. I won't let any of you down.[break][break]

And I would have never had this opportunity without kyle lopez seeing my potential. He pushed me beyond my perceived limits when we raced our Manectric together. Take a bow. You deserve it.
