Nico's nerves clearly shot way up when Josh revealed he ran a Gym. "Whether you have no badges or ten, it's okay! Just whenever you're ready. I look forward to it." He and his team looked forward to every challenger he had; every single one, win or lose, was a step closer to becoming part of the Major League. Though he had no desire to take on the Gym Challenge himself, he wanted to pass on his skills he had learned from the Gym Challenge to the next generation of trainers. That was what being a Gym Leader was truly about. It came with its other benefits, of course. "Right now, since it's the racing season, I only have the Gym open for challenges one or two times a week, so appointments tend to go fast. If you're at all interested, I would sign up for a challenge as soon as you can. Either drop by in person or sign up online. It's at racinggrounds dot hoennleague dot gov." Thinking on it, he checked his schedule while Aslan carried him to the trash bin to empty his net for the last time. "It's booked out about three weeks at the moment."
Aslan turned around to see Matt's Arcanine with a bike tire on her mouth. "Whoa, that's a good find! That's going to have to be taken to a recycling center." He sent out his Boltund, who was also in full riding gear. "Crash here can run that to Slateport's main recycling center if that's not on the way to where you're headed," the Ranger offered. Crash barked toward Nana, Nico, and Matt in greeting, his tongue adorably extended in the beach's humidity.
It seemed Matt was interested in Josh's Gym too! "I look forward to seeing you both at the Racing Grounds. If you have your email addresses handy, I can just email you the link to the signup form myself. Like I told Matt, though, I only take challenges one day of the week until the end of October, and you'll have to wait close to a month for an opening." Nana's bark was a sign of her competitive nature. "I would hope not," Josh gently chided Matt, still vividly remembering the accident and wondering how he could have survived an impact at speeds that would make most riders vomit. nicodemus unken Matt Vice {WC: 392} {PC: 6} NAME SPECIES STATUS Saber Manectric Good Crash Boltund Good Blitz Luxray Good Aslan Pyroar Good Snacker Sharpedo Good Resheph Dragonair Good
