HIS FACE FLATLINES. it’s almost an outright grimace. how can he not when his reputations is put on the line. fernando silph, is more than just a namesake. likewise, his namesake is more than just inherited notoriety.

to be a silph means to hold your head up high, built on a foundation well earned.

“not in the slightest.”

it helps that they’ve done this tango before. back when she had no clue on how well he could cultivate her garden with just a single green thumb. when loamy soil had yet to meet the steely resolve of an unyielding till.

he’s confident because he’s seen the way her harvest bloomed. how far and wide her crops expanded so long as he gave her the room to grow. you could even say she became exasperated with how much work had to be put into settling down from such success.

a tiring endeavor but an honest night’s work by all measures of the word.

Comfort could be found in the hushed seconds that passed between two people, afforded by the understanding that there was no reason to fill the void with meaningless noise. It made speaking more precious. Intimate.[break][break]
