But as she returned to her own sculpture, he almost heaved a sigh of relief that she opted not to go on the attack. Though the tension eased the moment she complimented his snowboy thus far. For a moment, he flashed a bashful smile, pleased to hear such high praise from someone who mattered so much to him. But that soon melted away as he offered the utmost confidence in his skills. Perhaps a bit too much confidence.

"Why thank you, I won't accept anything less than perfection with my work. Or the work of my partner. Yours is shaping into something simply fantastic. You have an eye for this sort of thing, perhaps we should do something cute and domestic together like a sculpting class."

The shake of his shoulders from the chuckle he let out showed that it was merely in jest, but at the same time given the time that he and Alecis spent around one another, he didn't mind it. Though speaking of time, it seemed to be coming close to an end, what with the both of them already halfway done with their snowboys. It felt bittersweet almost. Jesse reached up and scratched his index finger under Alecis' baby Ditto's chin. The baby seemed to become his favorite from sheer exposure to his Gengar.

Almost as if on cue, Flynt's own eyes began to tear up. It was horrible how heavily sympathetic the coordinator could be. While Pippa had a near death grip on her team, Flynt carefully attempted to pry them from her grip, especially the poor Happiny that seemed to be nearly five seconds away from becoming a ghost itself. Once he managed to at least give the poor pink pokemon some breathing room, Flynt reached out and carefully attempted to stroke away any tears that had begun to streak down his fellow coordinator's face. A frown quite evident on his own.

"Now now, crying doesn't suit you. I'm sorry, I didn't consider your feelings when I was critiquing your work. It's lovely, it really is. And it's lovely because it's unabashedly you."

Flynt squinted his eyes to attempt to fight back his own tears that came from seeing someone he cared so much about cry. With a sigh, he leaned forward and kissed her forehead before he went back to eyeing up his own work. There was still much to be done to make it a perfect snowboy, and he knew that quite well.

"Maybe we can go home and make treats together. I think peppermint bark would be nice for the season."

Danny couldn't help the eager grin that followed the way his fellow streamer gave his ass a light squeeze. She could be a real tease at times, and perhaps that's what made things exciting for the two of them. But the promise of eggnog with extra nutmeg sounded delightful. Really, just time alone with his favorite person was enough for him. That much was obvious when his cheeks heated up as Micah shared the sentiment with him. All he could do was give a nod in response to her question. It was nice to not have to put on their typical act in front of the cameras -- they could unabashedly be themselves, even though that didn't differ much from their camera personas of course.

"We should do this more often, really. I love it! But not as much as I love the way your snowboy's looking like a sweet homage to Big Drippy!"

Danny flashed the Goodra that doubled as their cameraman a grin and a thumbs up. The dragon was doing a fantastic job helping Micah with her snowboy, and couldn't have been a better pokemon to help form a snowboy in its own likeness. The blonde kissed the top of Micah's head and pulled her back into working on their snowboys. The sooner they finished, the better. The promise of eggnog sounded heavenly right now.

Once he got his thermos back, Jaskier was quick to take a drink of his eggnog again. However the moment that he saw Taiga pull out a ring box, the eggnog caused him to spit and sputter about. Liquid came from his lips and nose, spat out onto the snow thankfully. While he wasn't offended, he was simply shocked at the gesture. The ring itself looked so damned expensive! Shit, now he kinda felt bad for the 'fire crotch' comment earlier. With a slow exhale, Jaskier used the back of his hand to wipe his face and looked up at Taiga from his hunched over position. He certainly looked and played the part of the fool quite well.

"Shit, Tai, for me? Seriously?"

His shocked expression slowly eased into one of glee as a grin stretched out across his face as he leveled his gaze with the ring itself. A white gold band with jewels embedded into the band itself. As much as he liked to tease Taiga and verbally jump her ass at times, he had to give credit where it was due and acknowledged she knew his style quite well. Maybe it was because she liked to steal his sunglasses, jacket, whatever she could get her hands on, and wear it herself. But nonetheless, he shook his head in disbelief.

"You're too damn good to me, you know that? You really didn't have to, but you sure you want to give it to me now? I mean I don't have your gift ready yet, but I mean..."

As he marveled over his gift from his girlfriend, Jaskier's Salamence that sported a Santa hat pushed another ball forward to help shape his snowboy.

Snowscapes screamed a far different degree from the desk amassed with paperwork he'd tirelessly worked on for the past few days. Perhaps the move to Hoenn had left his workload to suffer, but he made sure to make it up. Today was a day meant to be a relaxation day, but there wasn't much relaxing when it came to carefully crafting a snowboy. It had been years since he'd made one. The last time he had, it was mostly delegating his younger siblings into forming and stacking the parts. Nonetheless, they did an excellent job -- this time would be better even if it was just him. His Falinks carefully pushed forward snow as their little white covers that made the team look like snowballs themselves helped blend them right in. Even Gaultier accidentally grabbed the brass of the Falinks phalanx formation, only to flash it an apologetic smile as he sat it back down and took the actual snowball.

"Ah, désolé, mon petit soldat. (Ah, sorry, my little soldier.)"

His scarf obscured part of his smile unfortunately, but the Falinks didn't seem to mind too much. Eyes caught sight of his flaxen haired femme fatale of a partner. He couldn't quite tell if she enjoyed the childish antics of building snowboys, but he appreciated the way she had pulled him from his office to enjoy the festivities. Perhaps he could thank her later in a more proper fashion.

"If you get too cold, I can lend you my jacket," he insisted.

"let's leave the fun for the children right now," the coordinator demanded, already dragging flynt down into the snow with her own body being the base by which he could lay upon to avoid the cold. she would easily keep him warm with how hot her frame was getting from the happiness and mirth that filled her soul as well as all the [REDACTED]. "just let me kiss you," she muttered against her man's lips as she didn't quite give a damn who saw as she wrapped both arms around his waist and brushed her nose up against one of his cheeks, primed to shove her tongue down his throat if he so allowed. "i wish we could be like this forever, so let's enjoy each other's company as if we're the only ones here." easy for an exhibitionist to say, but she didn't quite register that.

the goodra looked back at his trainer shyly, having been caught for making the snowboy in its likeness while helping the two trainers. as his big ego allowed, he had taken the artistic liberty of making the snowboy into a snow goodra instead - already making out most of its body and smiling widely at it with two thumbs up as if it'd help micah keep the form it was taking. "you --!" micah pointed at the goodra and it kept its shit-eating grin while micah approached it, simply giving it a soft, playful punch in the chest. "what a goofball," micah laughed, returning to danny to hold hands as she flashed her latest rotom phone. "kfc's zinger sandwich wants to take a picture of us," she stated, the rotom in the phone buzzing in agreement. while its shortened name was 'zingy', its full name was quite a feat to say and it seemed to almost vibrate with excitement by being called it. "i wish you another happy year, bro." micah was being genuine at this moment, though - to be honest - the two of them were quite nothing but. although they had to put on acts here and there for the camera, they rarely strayed from their true natures due to not having the mental capacity between the two of them to do so.[break]
"a happy life, too, really." a pause. "n... ot like i am trying to say you're gonna die or anything," micah retracted, looking upon her boyfriend with a shy smile. it wasn't uncommon for them to fuck up their words and gestures but she was a bit shy to continue her idea, doing an overly 'anime' pose with the way she put half her hand over her face and looked away 'mysteriously', her rotom phone shining its light down on her like a spotlight for dramatic effect.
