his hand raises. the STONE EDGE that rises pales in comparison to PENELOPE LIVY's desire to be a hero. to sacrifice herself for the sake of it.[break][break]

how come they can make mistakes like that? i want to make mistakes too and have someone else clean up! why can't it happen to me?

PENELOPE LIVY is out here killing herself to protect a trainer with skills to defend herself.

Melody Miro forces them to a direction, and while they had nothing else to work with, it would've been better to wait for everyone's input.

MATIAS SILPH was a ticking timebomb whose mere presence brings others to shudder. why people still want to work beside him is beyond kyle.

envy boils much more than earlier. it shifts from one reason to another, forcing himself to trudge along the heavy feelings from the emotions that were kept bottled down for the longest time.

he wants to whine like he always does, but he can't this time.

"ugh! fine!"

issues with the sygna suit include it prohibiting the use of avatar abilities. as tested with CIAN MAHER, the act of taking it off turns off its functionalities completely.

in a quick motion, he takes his shirt off, and without the complete set, it powers down. his smeargle catches the article of clothing as kyle runs towards the burnt corpse of the councilwoman, turning her into ash completely before her form completely returns in an instant.

the councilwoman lays on the ground in an instant, clothes burned alongside anything else combustible, leaving her with only her pokemon by her corpse.

"imprison!" kyle tells his pokemon, and though it follows through, the flames of the spirit fail to dissipate. "huh?"

v-create cannot be sketched.

The burden of thought evaporated and emotions became featherweight on her shoulders. There were no lights, no pearly gates, no angels to greet her at her arrival or judge her existence, just peace. Comfort in the revelation that it was all over.

"Hey Penny," A voice called out, reminiscent of a lifetime forgotten, "Penny, wake up! We're going to be late for class!"

A grating crack shattered the bubble of comfort she had found herself curled within. Piece by piece, it came crumbling down, eroding to the beams of light breaking through.

Her voice, hoarse and weak, was barely louder than a whisper.

Kyle swooped in just in the nick of time, Matias fended off the creature and Melody decided her attention is best spent elsewhere as the spirit of the Pokémon cried out in pain. [break][break]

"We're fine, are you?! She wasn't sure why but this spirit didn't feel the same as the others, it felt sick, twisted, bent in an unnatural way than it was previously. [break][break]

How did something that made her feel so good before made her feel disgusting now? [break][break]

"Gargancle! Salt cure that thing! Prim you know what to do!" she orders as primarina takes a moment to charge her attack, gargancle covers for her ad fires a barrage of salt towards the flames that continued to threaten them all. Eventually reaching the spirit for a moment as Melody's primarina adds insult to injury. A HYDRO CANON erupts from the siren's maw that completely blasts the spirit back into the door of the seal as the salt cure starts to add more damage from absorbing the moisture from the attack. [break][break]

The spirit growls in frustration as it was repelled by the four of them. The time was not right to launch it's most powerful assault, it would bide it's time until they surely returned. Melody's emotions regulated and came down from their heightened state. "What the hell was all of that?" she says as the feeling of her emotions being manipulated was something she was familiar with.. [break][break]

the heat that pulses from the HURRIFERNO is nothing short of searing. to fight fire with fire may be seen as foolish to some but is meant to be a statement. whatever spirits, victini or otherwise will be buffeted back by the swords of justice.[break][break]

MATIAS SILPH' charizard holds the spirit in place long enough for PENELOPE LIVY to come back to them without the fear of a double tap. envy still has a hold on the champion by then, answering her with a stare and shrug as a pity response.

kyle watches as Melody Miro's pokemon attaches its purifying salt on the spirit like a Hanukkah miracle, eventually exorcising it. feelings of envy abruptly fade, leaving behind dread and emotional exhaustion in kyle's heart. a hand holds his chest, feeling the rapid palpitations underneath the ribcage.

"we should leave for now," kyle mentions as he wears the sygna suit back from his smeargle and then taking his phone from his pocket. "i'll mark this place for now, i guess. people will still visit this place anyways even if we tell them not to."

does he really want to be in those people's places? introspection leaves him with the negative. he's content with himself, and he definitely does not envy either of these three the slightest.

as he looks at them in the middle of self-reflection, he notices how weary they are compared to him. even matias, the avatar that was supposed to be bound with endless energy, seemed to be worn out. the first conclusion he can come up with was his sygna suit.

"hey guys?" kyle calls as they eventually leave the place before spirits come back again. "do you wanna head out for now?"

he takes out his solgaleo, who makes a wormhole immediately in front of them. it leads them to kyle's yard— a place where the pokemon knew kyle wanted to go to.

"i can set up camp while you guys freshen up. we can continue our excursion later." the volunteering doesn't come free, however. "but i want to get carried again for our part two."
