If she knew that MATIAS SILPH had risked house arrest fines to meet with an unwilling florist, that fact would have stunned Elisabeth more than this whole business already did.[break][break]

Mt. Chimney was not, to be blunt, her idea of a good time. She was a Grass-specialist. Molten lava didn't lend itself to a feeling of sure-footedness or personal advantage. Despite this, it sounded better than anything else that could give the unfortunate context of this being a 'date.'[break][break]

This was an intelligence gathering mission. A bizarre one that she had no intention of admitting to anyone ever, but an intelligence gathering mission just the same.[break][break]

Soot had rained down the entire path up the mountain, and the heat was positively sweltering. He didn't seem to mind it as much as she did.[break][break]

A picnic hadn't been what she'd signed up for, but the trip down the mountain was long, and her feet were tired. She'd committed this far.[break][break]

Reluctantly, she knelt down on the blanket and stared at the view of Hoenn. This felt like an out-of-body experience, watching someone else make these decisions and exist around Matias Silph as he busied himself in a picnic basket.[break][break]

She selected the red wine, resolving not to be a snob about it aloud. Drinking it from an 'eco-friendly' cup felt almost like sacrilege, but then again, it likely wasn't as good as fine Kalosian wine.[break][break]
