The sprits' rages seem to grow at their very presence there. Their hate growing almost as abnormally as the cold has begun to swirl around the group. No words were going to qualm whatever was happening as suddenly the roar of anther pokemon had come. Up on higher ground close to the seal a feline like pokemon and come from the cold , seeming to have either been manifested or drawn in due to the hate of the sprites around. [break][break]

They roars once more and it seems to extract the very hate from the souls around them as their hate seemed to have become a plague that has been amplified. And seeing how Razz had taken the lives of many of those around them he couldn't 100% blame them. However with both Eris Halla and Adrian Malcolm here he wasn't going to allow his problems to hurt them. Even as it seems the cat like pokemon was making it so that very hate has begun to manifest into a new pokemon. [break][break]

Multiple shadowy creatures, one whose eyes were aimed at him while the others looked else where. "Keep sharp both of you!" Razz warned as he called out his greninja meanwhile in the back of his head he calls for more back up.

Adrian finds himself backstepping as the manifestations assume their otherworldly guise, finding himself staring at the vestigial spirit of a ruin beast—though he does not know it as this, but some strange almagamation of Razz's guilt and the begrudging spirits' warped machinations. The air bites at his lungs much the same, and recognition comes to a distant creature that shares his eyes, but does not deign to enlighten him. He is left to confront this strange creature blindly. And help was so far away, it would seem...[break][break]

Adrian might have grabbed for a pokeball, but the frigid chill slows his bones and gives him pause. Razz and Eris are much faster to the draw, and in the interim, they are his last and only defense as the bite of winter envelops them. It was all... beyond natural. He couldn't really make sense of this implacable feeling, other than as the influence of the creature(s) looming just out of reach.[break][break]

"What... can we do?" Frost sets in and dampens his speech, causing his teeth to chatter once or twice as he mouths the syllables.
He holds his arms around him to abate his shivering, and a sense of despair grips him... He is beginning to feel the weight of this place, a telling sign...[break][break]

But there is a fire that burns brightest in that most grim dark, as a creature borne of light and life bounds for them as if on wings, gracing Adrian and the others with its visage as the ambient heat billowing from its core saturates their essence. This creature is Howitzer, and yet it is not... Her pokeball remains against his waist, inert.[break][break]

But beyond a shadow of doubt, she there yet stood, undeterred by their foe.

Her gaze trails up to meet the bitter malice of a frosty feline, her attention then draws down to the spirits moving towards them. Electricity snaps from Reiner's presence, striking blue energy coursing through the air that ultimately does nothing against mere apparitions. For a moment, she hesitates, unsure of what to make of the situation. If someone who once resided over the domain of death seems so uncertain, what exactly can they do?[break][break]

When she looks back up, one of the shadowy pokemon seems to have disappeared, the other running at Raziel Beckett and throwing a Shadow Punch. But before she even can whistle for a counterattack, the shadows beneath her begin to surge, the claws of a Spectral Thief gripping at her arm and wrenching her down.[break][break]

Her ruby gaze is swallowed by an endless abyss, the creature staring right at her. Through her. It will not have her playing pretend or house when it can almost taste the fruits of hatred in her heart. It knows. It waits. It hungers and it will consume her thoughts.[break][break]

"Bernie."[break][break]

A Quagsire appears beside her, shadowy marks traced all over their body in spiralling patterns. They hiss, spewing a Toxic mess at Razz and Adrian whilst their attentions are focused on the spectres flitting about.

Hate radiates off the shadowy creature letting Razz know that it is the threat that must be dealt with. Clear that it was the accumulation of all those that held resentment toward him. For those that lost their lives to him, and honestly if neither Eris or Adrian were there he might have let it win. Far too long living with the guilt of all he has done in the past. [break][break]

When Adrian Malcolm ask about what to do its Royal that comes in and blocks the SHADOW PUNCH with his WATER SURIKEN. For a moment Razz finding it a tad difficult to think with the cold that was wrapping around them. Though its that cold that springs up an idea. These things didn't have a psychical for before that damn cat came right? "Do what you can to take on the cat! Back up is on the way!" Razz tells the older Rocket seeing as he doesn't think he would be able to. As attacks clashing it seems to be learning how to quickly read Royal's moves. [break][break]

Suddenly wind shoots up as salem uses his SPRINGTIDE STORM to try and absorb and counter the TOXIC that comes at them from Eris Halla. "Eris you're going to need to fight back!" Razz warns wishing he could help but with the way his Greninja gets knocked into him something tells him that he has his own weight to deal with before helping either

Adrian takes a step away from the dwellers in the gloom, finding himself unable to muster the words, to give the command that might set the hound at his side loose upon them. Instead he feels the uncomfortable sensation of some noxious ooze slicking against him where Razz manages to deflect the brunt of Eris' attack. He flicks away at the slime, but it permeates the skin, rendering him unwell...[break][break]

Ahead of them, the loose interpretation of a RUIN BEAST lies in wait, whereupon Adrian turns his focus at feeling the welling ire of Yveltal as it shares his eyes, though itself distanced. "Howie, run them down," he manages with a murmur before she sprints ahead of them all. As she leaves his side, Adrian feels his strength failing him, and a fleeting sense of security...[break][break]

Something feels as though it has begun to... slip away, perhaps.[break][break]

He can't quite place it, and instead opts to keep his attention on the canine rushing after the strange simulacrum staring them down. Howitzer burns bright as she approached, chasing after the shadow and snapping at its heels—dispelling the dark with her resplendence. All while he's forced to one knee.[break][break]

The creature is forced to retreat, and one of the last things Adrian consciously remembers seeing is it and Howitzer disappearing into the distance, himself progressively succumbing to the poison.[break][break]

"Don't let up—" Compelled yet physically unable to pursue, Adrian is determined to follow her trail, committing to memory as he slips—leaving the others to drive out the shadows that have cast their influence upon them.

Sighing, the lake guardian turns their attention towards the one that dares to break their source of entertainment, unleashing a burst of Psychic. Shadows claim the gloomdweller before harm can be dealt, the blast cracking the earth as the pixie sinks into frustration. To make things go back to normal, danger must be dealt with at the root; They turn their gaze towards the fleeing feline, blinding it with a Dazzling Gleam as they throw loose rocks at its silhouette.

As the attack comes Razz tries to brace himself, ready to protect himself and Royal from the on coming FRENZY PLANT which thankfully Reiner interviewed with. Though it was only one attack as the other Marshadow keeps up with it's attack as it lands a SHADOW PUNCH at both trainer and Pokemon. [Break][break]

And while Razz definitely knows he deserves this, he can't just take the hits as the voices seems to cry out their frustrations with him. "You don't think I know this?" he retorts with his own frustrations. "I know what I did was wrong but guess what?" there is a light that glows on his belt as his keyring glows. [Break][break]

"But I can't make up for 6 feet under"[break][break]

With that Royal mega evolves before glowing with a dark energy as it prepped a Z-move, "You can hate me, you can hurt me, but you can't take me down," too much had to be done and right as Royal was about to lunch a Black Hole Eclipse they stop as they hear Adrian Malcolm's voice. [Break][break]

The ranger deciding to see if there was any influence left in him that could get the angered spirits to listen.

It's not a very pleasant experience, to have her soul slowly dragged from the depths of unconsciousness, awakened to the sensation of being smothered by far too much. It's a chill that burns at her skin, a clouded mind that attempts to sieve through ear-piercing screams of agony and despair as the voice echoes through this space. They listen for the briefest of moments, restless souls that go silent and stare at her with those piercing gazes.[break][break]

They know. She knows. What they've all been through, who has wrought this fate upon them. Their hearts all harbour that same beast that resonates to their core but she continues to fight against it, to smother its influence with whatever little scraps of hope and love she's allowed to snatch.[break][break]

Externally, they are one creature - A monster borne of sorrow and pain as they all wept with their final breaths. A shadow pokemon is more than happy to oblige to the whims of wrath, causing an Earthquake that attempts to trip up anyone that opposes them. Reiner, however, will not yield to such petty tricks, growling as he grabs ahold of Eris and begins to shake her.[break][break]

Why would you trust them?![break][break]

Because they said I could.[break][break]

Internally, they are a mess, writhing in memories as they attempt to break her will for good.[break][break]

You would forgive MURDERERS?![break][break]

I would believe in their desire to change and be better people.[break]

They continue to move and twist, eventually clenching into a fist.[break][break]

She stumbles, leaning her weight against Reiner as she grabs tight to reality.[break][break]

There's no more questions left between them, both lake guardian and Luxray working in tandem. Whilst Mesprit blasts the shadows on the ground with Psychic bursts, Reiner fires off a Thunder Wave to paralyse the gloomdweller on sight. And in that fragment of time that the Marshadow is unable to move, it gets tagteamed from both ends by a Mystical Power and a Springtide Storm.

Something works to their advantage, whether it was him or a breakthrough by Eris; the results remain the same, the outcome favorable. She is able to regain some semblance of herself as they battle back the gloomdweller from the shadows, and though the ground shakes with a tremor, his weary eyes droop for a moment's rest until he remembers—Howitzer.[break][break]

"Hrnngg...!" His knuckles entrench in the dirt beneath him as he struggles to prop himself up, though it is a difficult thing, and he no sooner feels himself sinking again as he does muster the strength to try again. She was here. No matter that this place was some vast, unknowing expanse—she was here and he would not surrender this opportunity so easily.[break][break]

Fatigued and dosed, Adrian finds his senses dulled, his words hardly forthcoming. Fingers trace delicately over pokeballs lining his belt,
until he feels the coarse exterior of one more tarnished—older than most. From it erupts a Vileplume.[break][break]

Rover is able to see to Adrian's care, expunging the noxious taint from his system, so that he is able to rejoin them in their pursuit of ruination.

The Black Eclipse hits and leaves the Marshadow almost disfigured as it recovers it's shadowy form. It's then when Razz finally feels his Patron enter the realm. Upon seeing the attacking ghost it seems ready to attack but Razz ask for them to instead focus on the other threat of the ice cat. [Break][break]

A Blue Flare fires and the Razz does get between the Marshadow and the hateful beast as if to ensure no flames didn't misfire, nor could the hate radiating from the legend could possibly effect the ghost more. [Break][break]

"If you want to take out your anger that's fine... But there are others who deserve it," Razz comments back to to the spirit as while the rage is still there it does feel calmer than before. Unsure if Reshiram having possibly aided with keeping the beast away with their fire. [Break][break]

The ranger is worn down but he needs to check on the others, Greninja keeps watch on the Marshadow as he calls out to the other two,"Are you alright?"

[attr="class","inner-finally"]It's not as easy as the stories make it out to be, the whole fighting against possession or throwing hands with those inner demons. If they cannot rule her mind, they will break her; That much she knows as she struggles against that intrusive urge to leap at Raziel Beckett and start clawing at his sides. And it's time like this where she's thankful that she's physically challenged, unable to move herself away from Reiner as she wheezes to catch her breath. If she hadn't been nosy enough to read up pokedex entries on ghost-types, she might just have wondered why she felt so lethargic. Instead, she's left stewing in the remnant voices that have yet to scatter even after the ebb of hatred.[break][break]

"They're... still saying things..." She murmurs, hopefully loud enough for Razz to catch. "My legs are really numb... do you think I'm dying?"[break][break]

Not the best joke to be making at this point in time, but she manages a weak laugh as if it might help to clear the air a little. Even Reiner winces at it, bumping her shoulder with the lowest of growls whilst returning an antagonistic Quagsire back to her ball. Mesprit, on the other hand, is far more captivated by the wispy Marshadow that tries to form its solid body once more. Threatened, even, by the possibility that it might begin slinging shadows at them once more if they look away for even a second.[break][break]

And yet, their worries are unfounded as the gloomdweller peers right back with an empty gaze, devoid of anymore brewing intent to instigate conflict. Had the disappearance of the strange cat really changed things? Where had it gone? What was it going to do next? Who would end up as its next prey? They had no time to be sitting around and patting themselves on the back just yet! Pulling herself up onto Reiner's back, she reassures him with a pat on the back before urging him to take off into a run.[break][break]

"C'mon! We gotta follow that cat!"[break][break]

Past the swirling agony of tormented souls, ignoring just about every bit of fear she once held regarding the night within the borders, she urges Reiner to follow the trails. Despite her zoning out, he had witnessed every bit of the conflict. And in doing so, he knew that silhouette of an Arcanine was something he had to follow -[break][break]

All the way towards the base of a rather quaint and twisted tree. Its branches sprawl wide across the heavens, dark red leaves bathed silently in the moonlight. They shouldn't be here; Her gut instincts reach so deep that they begin to rake at her spine. Something is off, even more so than the whole upset balance of life and death.

He's able to find his footing soon enough, and with the help of Razz he's able to come to, getting a grip on the flurry of action his mind was racing to understand. When the ice cat leaves the shadow pokemon seems to slump a bit. Its aggression seemingly dulled without the presence of the other legend as these heated up. In hopes it keep it out of the way and not possibly chase after, especially as Eris Halla seems to try and take initiative and run after the cat Razz uses a pokeball. Hoping that eventually he could make it up to the empty vessel that made up this pokemon. [break][break]

"Do you know what that thing was?" Razz can't help but question the white dragon who looks toward the direction of where the ruined pokemon headed. A simple 'a threat' humming over their bond before he offers a ride. Seeing how Adrian Malcolm seemed to be struggling to move as fast Razz would offer a ride, curious to see if the other would be interested in seeing this until the end. [break][break]

The enemy of your enemy was your friend or something like that right? Besides he has already change Rowan Wrynn's mind maybe he could help reach this one too eventually.
