THE ULTRA PLANT IS A DARK WORLD that is wracked by frequent thunderstorms. Lightning spears the desolate canyons and valleys of this world and massive cord-like structures bridge the gaps. Whenever lightning strikes, lights attached to these cords light up too. In the horizon, large Xurkitree can be seen, dwarfing the area you arrive in...[break][break]

Several abandoned power stations can be found throughout the area, but they seem to be deactivated...

Since the older male was smoking he kept a bit of space between them. He didn’t really need his lungs agitated by cigarette smoke. Definitely didn’t want to have to explain his condition. He didn’t particularly trust any of them. Then again he didn’t really know any of them. It wasn’t that he thought any of them would let anything happen to him. It was just hard to trust three strangers off the bat.

He took in everything around him committing the way the place looked to memory. Compared to what he’d been through while in Ultra Crater he wasn’t to impressed with what he was seeing. Hearing the older males comment his gaze flickered towards him. His comment was in line with what he had been thinking. And if he didn’t know better, which he did, he would think he had read his mind.

”They’re not all like this. I’ve been to ultra space before though not here. Last time I explored Ultra Crater,” he explained before allowing his gaze to drift over the landscape again. Nothing really stood out. So he figured there wasn’t any rangers. At least there wasn’t any yet. But he figured they would come across something that would threaten them at some point.

His attention was drawn back to Raphael when he spoke up once more. Following his gaze he couldn’t help but frown. He wanted them to climb those. It seemed like it would be a lot of work. Hopefully it wouldn’t take as much stamina as it looked like it did.

Summer stood quietly near Cade Atreides, her gaze observing the area. She could feel the tense static in the air, enough to start setting her hair on edge. It was quite annoying, as there were clicks in the air from discharges.[break][break]

Regarding raphael dos plumas, she nodded. "As long as we have enough equipment to all go down. Let's ensure we don't die here," she said with a grim look on her face.[break][break]

Before they descended, though, Summer looked out across the expansive space. "There's a clear spot over there. Maybe we can take refuge there."

He was back in the realm of ULTRA PLANT. As haunting as the first expedition had been, Cade simply couldn't resist jumping at the first chance he got to return. This time, however, he was coming in alongside Summer Atreides herself. The natural sense of comfort she made him feel was enough to dampen his nerves as they entered the strange world.

Perched upon his shoulder was his oldest companion: the SENSU STYLE ORICORIO known as SOFÍA. The static in the air seemed to have a ruffling effect on her feathers. She didn't seem to be scared, however. Instead, she idly went about grooming herself as her trainer joined the others. "I've been here once before. There's a lot of machinery and cables. This time I came prepared." He adds.

The bag slung over his shoulders was filled with all manner of tools. Though, admittedly, he couldn't be one hundred percent certain they wouldn't come across something he wasn't ready for. He was sure they all assumed that, however.

Thankfully, this was not one of these cases.

Pulling out a set of zipline hooks, he hands one to each group member before taking the initiative himself. Though not before stealing a quick kiss from Summer Atreides first. "See you there, mami." Then, with so little hesitation that some might call him reckless, Cade runs towards the zipline and takes off, prompting SOFÍA to take off of his shoulder as well.

"Whoo!"

Raph was used to doing things with strangers in many different senses of the words ‘doing things’. It wasn’t that he was naturally trusting, moreso just very convinced of his own sturdiness, regardless of what people thought they could throw at him.

He led the way down their little zipline and dropped to the ground, landing in a crouch and roll that he didn’t even really think he was capable of. He stood and replaced his jacket-- a worn thing, not really worth saving, but sentimental all the same-- and brushed at invisible specks of dirt on the broad shoulders.

Grounded, they made for the open space as directed by Summer Atreides, which was less of an open space and more of the remnants of some sort of substation that had been caved in and eroded by time. There was a hole in the roof and the walls had split up and back, like an oyster shell parting. Crackles of white-blue electricity danced between dangling cords, and before he could fucking stop himself, Raph reached out to touch one, like a goddamn magpie pecking at the shinies-- or a toddler sticking a fork in an electrical socket.

The result was, likely, as expected.[break][break]

“SonofaBITCH,” he shouted, jumping back as every hair on his body stood on end, and the smell of burning flesh became apparent in the air. He shook his burnt hand wildly, then stuck it into his armpit to squeeze down on the pain, breathing through it. “Mothershittingfucker. Don’t touch anything.”

Setting up for camp would definitely be a good idea. Rest was important when it came to a lot of walking. It would also be good to have a place that they could tend to injuries if someone got injured. It was with those thoughts that he follow Summer’s line of eyesight before he would let his gaze track the route they would have to take to get to that location.

Realizing the other two had gone he took his turn and zipped down the line. He looked around not really paying much attention to what the other two man were doing. It was only when Raphael yelped that he would turn his attention away from the scenery. As the older male spoke after seemingly electrocuting himself a bit he couldn’t help but stare blankly at him.

He opened his mouth like he was about to say something before closing his mouth and shaking his head. He had nothing to say to something like that. At least not something that wouldn’t come off as rude. Or maybe inconsiderate. So for now he would just ignore that and move on with the conversation.

Speaking of moving on. ”Once everyone is ready we should move on. I don’t think standing exposed like this for to long is such a good idea,” he said as he looked around. It was just a feeling he had. Cade couldn't help but laugh when raphael dos plumas electrocuted himself. Despite the fact that they'd only just met today, such a funny sight naturally prompted him to tease the man as though he were his foolish little brother. The staticky poofed-up hair that occurred as a result certainly didn't help things.

"Jaja! Coño! Don't expect this place to follow any safety regulations at all, my friend." Turning to Summer Atreides next, he smiles. "Think you can help patch him up, amor? I'm going to investigate the area a bit to make sure we're not sharing the space with something else." He states, turning to absalom steel next.

The boy was young and somewhat reminded him of himself at that age. Nevertheless, Cade would keep an eye out for him. Hoennian kids weren't nearly as tough as Paldean kids, after all. Summer turned to Cade Atreides, to say something to him before he took his way down the powerline. However, his sudden kiss hushed whatever was coming from her lips, surprising her along the way as well. Her mouth was left gaping in shock, as the blonde shot down the line like an idiot looking for death.[break][break]

"I'm going to kill him," she muttered to herself, not truly meaning it. Her cheeks were a blazing pink as she took her turn, landing gracefully on the ground.[break][break]

She'd landed in time to watch raphael dos plumas reach for the sparking area. "Hey, I wouldn't—" Though her warning came too late as the smell of burning flesh wafted to her.[break][break]

"Oh, ARCEUS, save us..." she mumbled, rubbing her forehead as the man started to curse a variety of brilliantly colorful words. Looking up to Cade Atreides, Summer sighed and nodded.[break][break]

"Don't be stupid," she warned, walking closer to Raphael while avoiding the sparks and low lines.[break][break]

"Let's move out of the way of the lines. I have a kit I can bandage you up with. It won't feel good," Summer warned, leading him away from the danger zone and to a safer spot. There, she poured some water over it, covering it with an ointment and bandage.

He was a bit surprised at being addressed by the older male if he was being honest. Since he was the type to often not speak unless he had something to say he was used to being overlooked. Though part of that was just him not being use to interacting with people outside of his family. So sometimes with new people he would just stay quiet as they interacted with someone else.

”Yes,” he said simply making sure one last time they would be okay on their own before following Cade into Depowered Power Station. As the two investigated he would eye the machinery with interest. Part of him wanted to see what made it tick but another part knew that messing with the wrong thing in the Station could spell out trouble for them.

Though the machinery itself was interested he could tell after tearing his gaze away from some of the machinery that there was nothing really worthwhile. Basically anything that could be taken out and brought with them would be considered junk. And he didn’t think any of them needed junk.

Looking through the Station didn’t take long and he figured that perhaps it was time they headed back. ”Should we head back?” he inquired, looking in the direction they had come from. A bizarre and electrifying roar reverberates throughout the power plant after absalom steel utters his question. Strangely enough, this roar coincides with a brief activation of all the power plant's systems. They are bathed in artificial light for a second before they shut down again. At that point, Cade knows the other half of their team is in trouble and snaps to it.

"We need to regroup with the others," He states, summoning his Oricorio to his arm after he raises it. "Ready, Sofía?" The little bird chirps in reply as she stretches her wings for a boost in AGILITY. Then, without another hesitation, she takes off in flight down the hallways from whence they came. Turning back to the youth, Cade continues. "You're good finding your way back to us, right?"

Before Absalom can answer, however, a BATON PASS snatches Cade away in a puff of ghostly smoke. The young trainer will find himself in the company of the Oricorio instead, who will help lead him back to the others anyway should he need it. Meanwhile, Cade has already regrouped with Summer Atreides and raphael dos plumas to pay witness to a strange and electrifying goliath (REGIELEKI) emerging from a caved-in part of the power plant floor.

While the initial static and injuries were taken care of — luckily, it really wasn't much to handle — Summer ensured that Raphael wasn't going to sustain the worst injuries while being in the ultra world. The rest could be tended to someone who was an actual nurse or doctor later.[break][break]

"Let's find some shelter while we wait for the other two."[break][break]

She didn't wait for a reply, instead leading the way away from the sparking wires. The further they got from low hanging, live electricity, the better. The further into the city she went, it seemed no better.[break][break]

Until there was a spot that appeared free of hazards that they could use for the time being as some sort of shelter or base.[break][break]

"Here. At least we won't burn our insides on accident."[break][break]

Summer cleared the area of debris, only looking back when Cade had managed to find his way back to them. She let out a sigh of relief, until she heard the Paldean man speak.[break][break]

"What are you talking about? It's a—" Though she realized he wasn't speaking to them about the shelter. In fact, there was a bright yellow, almost bird-like figure crawling forward from a space away from their shelter.[break][break]

"Hela!" she called, her HISUIAN ZOROARK emerging with frazzled fur.
