Despite the clanging of her blades, which BANISHED a good number of them back into the mist, the endless stream of Fluttermane kept coming as they climbed. As Taliyah struggled to fight them off, she quickly noticed a few more aiming for her niece and the Alolan Marowak she traveled with. She cast a Luxury Ball from Remiel's belt in a last-ditch effort, summoning a TRANQUILL into the firelight.[break][break]

With BIG PECKS and plenty of adrenaline, the bird fought off the small group of Fluttermane. The large GUST it had cast up bought them just enough time to create some distance. Unfortunately, it was soon overwhelmed with a MYSTICAL FIRE. Its cries echoed throughout the cavern as it was burned alive, before meeting the mercy of DEATH.[break][break]

Seemingly unaffected by this loss, however, the spirit possessing Remiel advanced upward. Eventually, they would reach a ledge far above where an exit could be seen nearby. It was at this point that Taliyah turned to her niece and smiled. "Just in time. It appears I've overstayed my welcome in this body. Remy-boy is shouting at me to hand control back over, so I'll be leaving now. Farewell."[break][break]

And, in the blink of an eye, Remiel's entire countenance seems to shift. He's back, and he almost immediately collapses down onto one knee as the fatigue hits him all at once. "I'm alright," He assures his cousin while holding a hand up. "Just need a moment to recover my energy."[break][break]

Turning to Taliyah when the hooded queen tells her Remiel wanted control of his body back, she gives her ancestor a nod. “Farewell for now, auntie. I’ll thank you for the help you gave and the strength you gave me during that fight.” There was a sense of peace in talking with Queen Taliyah Calcifet than speaking with the current Queen of Galar though Edelynn’s bitterness would be felt in the room that she spoke to her aunt last time in. When Remiel comes back to his usual self, he holds up a hand in case that the royal ambassador would worry for him.[break][break]

“Then… I won’t worry. Auntie Taliyah has reassured me in that battle, so that I may come out stronger than before.” The Galarian princess gives her beloved elder cousin a smile while she returned the unconscious body of the Alolan Marowak that her Mismagius carried with Psychic before sending out her Dragapult in Mortimer’s place. “I’ll fly to the exit, you should do the same as well, cousin.” Samael lowers himself to the ledge’s ground as Elise gets onto the back of her large dragon before the Dragapult floats in a gentle pace towards the exit down from the ledge.

"I'll be right behind you. Meet you at the encampment." Remiel responds, slowly getting up from his kneel afterward. He wondered exactly what Taliyah might have told Elise during his possession. Sometimes he recollected everything. Other times there were gaps in his memory.[break][break]

Regardless, it seemed to him that Elise had been inspired by their ancestor. That was good. Especially considering all the stress she was dealing with regarding Galar and Ronan Calcifet the PRIME MINISTER. He wished he could be helping more but... he'd been so busy with the conflict.[break][break]
