Damien slammed his shitty apartment door open to see his shitty neighbor wringing his shitty hands in the hallway. The guy was blabbering about property damage this, threat of bodily harm that, something about calling his buddies in the local mafia to help out, blah blah. He was about to get a face-full of flimsy plywood until Damien heard him mention...[break][break]

"My bike? Oh FUCK no, get the hell out of my way, Larry!! The fuck didn't you mention that sooner?!"[break][break]

Rushing out with just his boxers and a light shirt on, Damien practically flew down several flights up stairs and eventually ended up in the open courtyard within his apartment complex. It was U-shaped and barred from the public by a long-broken gate, so Pokémon came in frequently.[break][break]

This time is was a fucking PACK of some weird-looking dogs.[break][break]

"These fuckers better not have touched Pearl..." Damien muttered, stomping over to check where his motorcycle was propped up. [break][break]

looking at the pack of mabostiff inspired mar. hoenn had such strange pokemon swarms, another sign that the region was so unusual and powerful. she loved finding small events that reinforced her belief that she needed to be here. and, hell, she also loved looking at dark-type pokemon; they tended to inspire reactions in civilians that she favored.

of course, these guys were also a little cute, but her point stood. she wasn't expecting to see so many mabostiff together since her understanding was that they were boss-hog kinda pokemon and didn't answer to well to a lot of other authorities, but maybe she was mistaken. in any case, if she introduced herself to the swarm, she was sure she'd feel like a low-level grunt next to these bosses. "and yet... i want to take one home." screw it. she headed down to greet the dogs.

Kouji and Absol, the dynamic duo out in the wilds once more, enjoying the feel of his suit, a mere grunt trying to level up to a boss, but right now it was just a matter of catching pokemon. He was only interested in that, maybe it was Dirk Evans influencing him.

Much like how packs sometimes had their alphas, mafias had their godfathers. A leader figure that is meant to help direct the collective, and look after it.

Ettie would watch as a Mabostiff leads his children into an alleyway, a few Maschiff pups following close behind. Honestly, she didn't wanna pick a fight with these canids if she could help it - they were just here looking for food, like any other pokemon would, after all! But, perhaps a more diplomatic approach would do the trick?

Stepping into the alleyway, Ettie stays low to the ground to make herself appear smaller - holding out some food from her pack. "Friends?" She asks softly.
