Hell yeah a swarm of KAMEN RIDER bugs! The shows Melody had seen online were extremely dramatic and exaggerated, it was theatrical! [break][break]

So she had to see if she could add to her pokemon collection. She rushed forward, her oricorio flying in behind her as the two dance together in tandem. Melody unleashes a revelation dance duet dance with her oricorio and toasted one of those lil bugs knocking it out instantly. She throws a pokeball right at it and hits it right on the head as she waits for the ball to click for a capture hopefully, catching a mon in a swarm sure was difficult despite the amount of pokemon available.. Lokix everywhere. Lam watched from a somewhat removed distance as they scurried around, kicking out at passersby with their springy legs, regardless of if said passersby were attempting to catch them or not. He wasn’t usually a big guy, but there was something interesting about these ones. An aesthetic effect that made them look like they were right out of a kamen rider episode— which was actually pretty cool.[break][break]

“You think if I manage an extra cool defense pose, they’ll respect me more?” he asked of his pidgeot, who only paused from his preening to coo skeptically. “Yeah, you’re right. Better to just go for it the tried and true way.” He laughed before sending Hermes in so that he could go for the catch.

Another swarm persists upon Hoennian soil, off-setting commuters and trainers alike between Rustboro City and Rusturf tunnel. While many have gone to help keep the swarm of bug-type -a species going by the name of Lokix, apparently native to the distant Paldea region- in check, the former bounty hunter's goals were quite different.

Looking for new goals after leaving her old profession behind, Yvaine's interest had been sparked towards the many re-occuring swarms. Today, rather than intending to battle or catch the Lokix, she wanted to study them, and had found herself a few adult specimen practicing kicks on some nearby trees. Her notes showed scribbles, quick drafts of their physique and most prominent features, and a handful of Taekwondo-related terms their attacks reminded her of.

There were far too many questions roaming around her head; where did they come from? Or rather, why did they appear here? Was this a newer migratory path they'd taken now chaos seemed to spread across regions beyond Hoenn? None she knew the answer to, but that didn't temper her interest in the slightest. She'd find out, one way or another.
