The burns around Verte's wings looked painful, which made the instinctive defense against Alto's SUPERSONIC even more agonizing for him. Even so, dragon instinct was too mighty to suppress, particulatly in his confusion. The grating vibration continued as the pairs of screeching organs dueled like guitarists of a metal band. In his delirium, all the Flygon could do was flap and buzz his wings, agitating his burns even more. "Verte!" Josh shouted, followed by an incomprehensible command to use a move. Mallow, still charging the SKY ATTACK had little time to fire it off before she was smacked with the impact of the attack. She let out a confused trill when it actually knocked her back and sent her hurtling to the pitch rather than merely glancing off of her with little effect.[break][break] As she hit the ground, the altaria's terastalized coat shattered in a radiant pink burst. "Woof! That's a helluva z-move." He made a mental note to ask her about it afterward, but he had to focus now.[break][break] "Alto, cover!" The noivern redirected his attention from the flygon, humming and struggling in the air, and twisted toward Chomper. His wings sliced through the air with a shriek, sending a volley of AIR SLASHES toward the hydra.[break][break] Last one. With a toss of a ball, his togekiss joined the field. The VENGEFUL HYDRA from Andrea rallied Verte out of his delirium and back to his senses. Even then, he was weak, his humming wings starting to wear out from going so hard in his confusion. Both dragons were fast, but the green one had the agility advantage. This was where another Boomburst would have worked so well, but Josh's partner was still hurting from the first one. Lam chimed in response to Josh's surprise when Andrea's sygna suit activated it. He hadn't specified otherwise, so it was fine. It was good, quick thinking in his opinion. "Gotta say I'm jealous, though!" It was a slick suit, after all, and he hadn't managed to get his hands on one just yet.[break][break] It provided a nice buffer too - keeping them safe with an added layer of protection against Egg's attacks. The togekiss trilled in annoyance and then pain as the hydra darted forward, fiery fangs sinking into the soft padding of her wing.[break][break] But that didn't mean she was down for the count! Tilted in the air, Egg release of a pulsing AURA SPHERE using the radial thrum to repel them apart from one another, away from Chomper's effective chomping.[break][break] The BUG BUZZ definitely made its mark too. Alto shook his head as the shrill sound combatted his own super sonic attacks. Addled, the noivern lashed out - diving toward the flygon with a maw opened to bite down with SUPER FANGS. If he managed to make contact, that was. "Had I known they were legal in your challenge, I would have worn mine, too!" Josh added, his own suit doubling as his racing attire when his Manectric was near. He had left Saber back at Mauville Gym for some of his new hires to get used to.
