Route 112’s small rocky path is not an issue for her as the ambassador wears the safety shoes Paxton gave her…which were crocs. Since heels were not the optimal wear for crossing across rocky paths like this, she gets a little comfort in walking along the path to find some fighting type Pokemon and filing out her team’s weaknesses. Silent wings of the Decidueye follow after the female Calcifet as Takumi touches down on the ground to look at the mountain a little far from them.[break][break]

She hasn’t gotten her Decidueye to train with the wild Pokemon in a while and her royal wingman, as her elder cousin joked to her once when he gave him to her as a gift, is happy to train along with her.

The Decidueye sees a wild Chesnaught doing some squats near the path that they were walking on. His eyes look at the other grass type starter though he is not going to engage in battle with it if it was busy. As Elise sees the wild Chesnaught, she doesn’t want to bother it and feels the wing of the Decidueye push her towards the path that they were going. Since the wild Chesnaught doesn’t even look at them, Takumi began to look out for other Pokemon to have a spar with.

While the Robin Hood-like owl watches for other Pokemon, the sound of one of the trees being hit made the male grass type starter look at a wild Crabrawler. Narrowed eyes of the Decidueye watch the Crabrawler as it punches the tree trunk though he doesn’t want to bother the fighting type crab. Since he goes to follow the ambassador on her walk across the path, Elise would let him lead the way onto their walk since he was the one that would protect her in case she would be in danger from any wild aggressive Pokemon in the vicinity.

Her Decidueye stops suddenly when he looks towards a Pokemon ahead of them in the path. On closer inspection, that Pokemon appeared to be a Passimian, a counterpart to Oranguru and native to Alola. Elise had seen them around Galar in Glimwood Tangle and they were happy to have her play with them. Takumi readies the nock on the shadowed arrows and the Spirit Shackle flies towards the Passimian. The lemur-like Pokemon is surprised from the Spirit Shackle chaining her to the ground as she can’t escape.[break][break]

When the Passimian tries to Rock Smash against the Decidueye, the fighting type move passes through the grass type owl. As Takumi the Decidueye weakens the trapped Passimian with Air Slash, the royal Galarian ambassador throws a Dusk Ball at the wild Passimian.
