The shady alleyways, the darkness, the lack of cops... it was perfect for criminals hiding from the law, or some PI snooping around. Being here was like a return home. At least, it would've been...[break][break] "Shit. These things are ready to blow."[break][break] She hisses to her shadow, ducking behind a stack of boxes. The room, filled with a dozen or more chained weezing, was like a powder keg. She'd always hoped to blow up, but this wasn't the smoke she was eager to go up in. [break][break] "You got a play?"[break][break] Her shadow jumps up, eagerly watching the disgusted look on her face. Any sign of noise at all, and it was over. Tempted to bring it all to a close, she wonders, just how hilarious that'd be to end it here. Might've let it all happen, if only her fun wouldn't come to an end. Watching her squirm, not knowing if this was the inevitable betrayal... [break][break] That was the real fun of it.[break][break] "Quit makin' faces. Just do it. Kill me if you're gonna. Get it over with."[break][break] Her patience runs thin. Thinner than her blood rushing in her ears. That sickening, swirling feeling fills her head, familiar by now... and then... the tickle in the back of her throat. She covers her mouth with both hands, desperate to silence her cough, but it's too late. By the time she realizes it, it's over.[break][break] Picking herself up from the floor after the coughing fit, she regains her breath. Feeling her body, she confirms she's alive. One look, and the gengar's hypnosis has put the weezing to sleep like little babies.[break][break] "Guess... you haven't gotten bored yet."[break][break] Her shadow lies inert again. Gone, to torment her again in the future. [break][break]
