Voltorb were seen on the route that was near the city she worked in and she’d have to deal with exploding Voltorb before they’ll harm anyone passing by. While Rustboro City was a territory of Hoenn, Elise thought of the safety of the Galarian people who visit the Galarian Embassy every week or so. She does not want a scare to happen over the last time that she had to deal with a swarm of Beautifly and Dustox during the toxic chain incident. [break][break]

For the Pokemon that she’s using to tackle the job, her Marshadow accompanies her down the grassy path. Orange eyes from the Marshadow blink when Veyle tries to look around for the spherical exploding threats. The female ghost keeps herself close to the diplomat’s side, she’s a bit cautious of the area being a little quiet. Elise's Kartana sits neatly in her business suit's front pocket in case the paper-like Ultra Beast is called to action by her mistress.[break][break]

Fortunately, Elise doesn’t find any other wild Pokemon in the area and Elise thinks they may have run away from the threat of exploding Voltorb.

What Elise Calcifet and her pokemon would find is Tempest.[break][break]

First, a soft hissing of fuses refusing to blow. Damp water on the ground, creating muddy patches. Three Lycanroc running around, gripping unexploded and sparking Voltorb between tooth and claw.[break][break]

Tempest sat on a rock, watching idly as his Mudkip watered down the electric types to keep their fuses from blowing. The canines were bringing the pokemon to his feet, who he would toss pokeballs at before tossing those balls into a bag. He looked kind of bored, all things considered.[break][break]

He doesn't seem to notice Elise and her pokemon, giving a jaw-cracking yawn before muttering to one of his dogs and giving them a pet.

The sight of a man and his Pokemon who were holding down the Voltorb was oddly comforting. Damp waters made it so that the Voltorb won’t use Explosion or Self-Destruct to harm the other wild Pokemon when they’re covered by the man’s Mudkip. She now knew that was the reason that everything had been so peacefully quiet since the man’s group of Lycanroc were doing the same job too.[break][break]

It looked like the man or his Pokemon hadn’t noticed both the ambassador and her Pokemon yet.[break][break]

“I had my worries that they would be a threat to the people of Rustboro City.” She’d speak up to the man who is sitting on the rock while her Marshadow and shard of Calyrex keep watch over the Damp Voltorb. “And it looks like you have the job handled. I do worry that there may be more to deal with.”

There is a pause in his actions when Tempest does, finally, notice Elise Calcifet and her pokemon. As she speaks, he glances idly over her shoulder to see Charles. His face twists up with something like recognition- for the Calyrex, clearly, and not for Elise herself.[break][break]

So this is who the League's one chose....[break][break]

He's quick to brush that off, shifting a bit uncomfortably before taking another Voltorb that was offered by one of his dogs. A small whistle and the three of them stop, then start to lumber around and play. The Midnight Lycanroc seems to 'hide' behind Tempest, nervous, while the other two walk over to Elise herself with tails wagging and eager for a sniff.[break][break]

"Yeah, it seems like no matter how many I grab more just keep showing up. I'm, uh, Norman. Ecologist!" Tempest stands up, shifting lightly in place. A faint blush tints dark cheeks, but that could be seen as timidness.[break][break]
