After all the messed up things that had happened Johanna needed a break, and she figured Josh Devlin needed one too.

Inviting him to Joyland had been one possible solution. And perhaps they still would, since Joyland and her Family Estate were on the same island. But right now the primary objective was to enjoy a nice calming brunch. A taste of the good life that everyone, especially Josh, deserved to have.

And for that there was no better place than the Joy estate, a grand property some appropriate distance away from the hustle and bustle of the city. With its well-manicured lands it surrounded the old, but well kept, building with an air of serenity alongside its perfect ocean view.

Johanna was currently resting in a chair, enjoying the sun that was growing ever higher in the skies with not a cloud to challenge its dominion. Around her servants were busying themselves with preparations for the guest to come. A round table was being prepared with all sorts of delectable goodies. Johanna hoped this wouldn’t be too much. She had to take advantage when she had the place to herself for once.

But those were not the only ones, there was staff working on the land too, and others that worked security. She figured whenever Josh arrived he might stumble upon them, and so she had informed them of his arrival. Though she did not know when he would arrive, the trip from Mauville to Ever Grande was a long one after all.
