A psychedelic gym, Kouji Matsubara wasn’t here to challenge it surprisingly enough, he just so happened to be in the area. It had been a while since he had last interacted with Desiree, all the way back in Fortree, and only in passing. Still, things had changed a lot though a part of him should have expected such.

Life had become much more complicated since her last wild strawberry harvest- so wild, that she could not recall what she had experienced and what she had not in such a large passing of time. With such complications came a busy schedule, far busier than ever before. Though she wished to have downtime every now and then, her version of downtime existed as preparing her fairies and her sprouts for all the world would throw in their direction.[break][break]

And that, now, happened to be preparation for the war that had been spoken of time and time again. Polishing the mega crystals that she had adorned her trio of Alcremie with many months prior, following an intensive training regimen, the voice that had approached caught her off guard- as she was not expecting another challenger for the rest of the day.[break][break]

“Huh?” her head tilted, accompanied by the trio, “.. I’m sorry, but.. Do I know you?”[break][break]

His appearance appeared nostalgic enough, though with the changes that had been brought upon his physiology, she could not place ever having met him prior. She continued to look him up and down in bewilderment, taking a deep sigh and picking herself up from the ground.[break][break]

“I have a strawberry pie in a deep freeze, but I’ve been saving it. I promised someone I’d make it for them, but I haven’t been able to reach them for almost a year. You two look alike, coincidentally enough.”[break][break]

She was quite dense.

”Being the same person definitely helps.” Kouji said as he rolled his neck both ways until he could hear a pop in his upper back. A sigh of relief, definitely something his nineteen year old body never experienced, but the distortions were weird, and at times it felt like a second, at times he remembered it as years.

Did he introduce himself as Kouji or Kouma? He was struggling to remember before he simply shrugged. ”Still treating them pokemon well? You did come away with a lot more than just a basket full of strawberries y’know.” He managed to give a smirk, even if the last year had not provided him with many reasons to smile, and more to be depressed about…

”With that memory, I wonder if only your brain went through a time distortion instead of me.” He managed to chuckle as his eyes landed on her mega crystals, it was interesting just how much time had changed.
