It was a great thing to get a reprieve from all the mundane activities of office work. As amazing as adele veronesi was showing her the ropes, Mari still felt like she was a bit lost when it came to knowing everything there was to know.

The summer resort that the girls picked together was a great place to get her respite away from the stresses of work at the ambassador’s office in the Galarian Embassy. She had texted Cadeyrn Osmond that she’ll be with the other girls in a get together though Elise wishes that she could spend time with him during this summer month. With the tensions going on in Hoenn, she’d want to see how he was doing along with Ivy the Dreepy being there with him too.[break][break]

When marilee beaufort asks what they should get for ice cream flavors, the royal ambassador replies with a nod. “I have a fondness for green tea flavored ice cream, but I don’t mind chocolate.” The Calyrex shard sits on her lap where he waits for the ice cream to be served ans she fixes his sunglasses. “Oh, but I don’t think you can have chocolate ice cream. I will give you the strawberry flavor instead, Charles.” Elise spoke down to the hare king since she knows chocolate might be poisonous for him to eat.[break][break]

Even with the tensions around the region, the diplomat doesn’t have to worry now. She’s happy to get to know the other woman better while they’re waiting for their sweet treats. [break][break]
