A titan of stone towered over the ruined city, crushing rubble into the torn earth as it lumbered between buildings. Seven dots flashed in ancient remembrance as it looked at the Zorua and any other gathered Pokemon with a crudely carved visage. The pattern continued flashing, before turning a deep yellow.

It shifted a fallen building with cumbersome hands, pieces of plaster and rebar falling as it did so. It moved the rubble to a pile to be disposed of, later. As it did so, small bits of stone threatened to flatten a small cluster of flowers, which it protected with its other arm.

It looked at several in turn.

It lumbered off.

Silent. Still at the stone that surrounded the Kingambit. Pumpkin stared at the massive heap of rock and rubble. Or perhaps past it. Even as Zorua swiped at the earth and Regirock salvaged stone, she stood silently still. Patience was a virtue, in times like this. A foe that did not move did not require reflexes.

They required perfect precision. Even if the earth was loud, she would be quiet. Contemplation brought upon thoughts, and thoughts created problems. But thoughts also created solutions. Solutions were critically analyzed, disected, remade, smelted back down, then reforged once more. An endless cycle of minute edits, careful cuts until the perfect answer presented itself at her feet.

And she had come to a conclusion. It was the perfectly still silence of the metal samurai that brought it so.

"EAT SHIT AND DIE, MOUNTAIN OF COLD DEBRIS!"

SSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHK!

Her blade fell down in one powerful swoop. Even as she rested her forehead against the ground, the outcome had been determined before she'd even acted. Rock fell sideways, and parted a path forward. Deeper into the decrepit building, which housed the skeleton and heart of this fallen building. Careful cuts and hard thinking would bring this entire building down. Oh, how wonderful her cut had been. How precise, how per--

And the Regirock had simply scooped it up with its massive rocky hand. Her eye twitched. "ACURSED CREATURE OF STONE, YOU SHANT ESCAPE MY WRATH FOREVER!"

Perhaps the next pile of rubble would let her reveal its secrets...

Grimmsnarl isn't actually strong. His strengths lie with deception, not actual physical labour - but here he is, slaving away at the construction sites anyway. His expression is a grimace as always, though it's a deeper frown than usual as he carries crates of debris away, lifted by myriads of hair strands that are way stronger than one might assume at first.

And yet, during his work, his eyes keep wandering towards the big crevasse in the middle of the city. Similiar to his trainer, he has taken an interest in it ... partially to figure out why Fenelle might be so interested in it. He can also feel the pull of becoming stronger from within there - the Tera crystals that can change his typing, allow him to face foes that he would cower in front of ... ... except that he would not, not anymore.

But obedience is a trait more valued than pursuing this curiosity, at least unless he's actually in the company of his trainer, so he turns away and continues working.

Sometimes, it was hard for Erebus to grasp the more social aspects of humankind. For it to understand why, exactly, Rocket cared so much about how civilians viewed them, when they already had full and undeniable control over the town now. The civilians were weak. Rocket was strong. What else needed to be said, it wondered?

But, even with this in mind... When Makoto asks it to help clean up the rubble, it obeys; grasping chunks far larger than itself with Psychic and moving them aside, to be recycled or otherwise disposed of.

It kept its distance from anyone it did not recognize as Rocket - often Teleporting to another part of the city, when it was drawing too much attention for its liking from the bolder or more curious members of the populace.

After a more recent Teleport, it'd find itself near Regirock - whereupon, settling on the titan's shoulder, it posed a question in its usual non-words. ... Why do we care?
