Sunny looks down at the bidoof then back to the man. "Okay! I'll make him a mightydoof!"

Her hands clap together but it's not long before something else catches her attention.

"Oh! Let's go see what those people are doing!" she says, motioning to the gathering group of people. "I'm Sunshine, by the way. But everyone calls me Sunny."

She doesn't wait before heading over, just in time to catch a black haired man say truth.

It seemed like the mighty gym leader was shying away from his challenge. Had they not been at a party he would have challenged them right here and now for their badge. It seemed Stormy would get off lucky tonight.

Soon Arthur would space out as the others Pokemon, mind seeming to float away from the conversation as he thought about the battles he could have against the Hoenn league. They were tantalizing thoughts, his mouth would have been watering over the fights had be no self control.

Licking his teeth he’d come back to earth at the mention of truth or dare along with something being slipped into his hand. he’d clutch it in his palm and looked down. It looked familiar. He’d squeeze it in his fingers, it was spongy and soft to the touch. Where had he seen this before?

Accompanying the sudden treat came a sudden jolt, Arthur flinched as he turned around to see a mask. He’d shriek, “Oh Arceus!” a hand would retreat up to his chest, “You scared me there masked stranger! What's truth or dare?"

@thermopylae' attempt to boost her confidence falls mostly on deaf ears. It's not necessarily that she thinks of herself as less than Fernando, more that she simply doesn't care much for her elder brother. Being compared to him or associated with him was always a little bit uncomfortable, no matter the situation.[break][break]

Nor did she honestly consider herself a celebrity. Without her adopted surname, Stormy would be a nobody, a faceless name in a sea of other commoners. Stormy glances up at him momentarily as he squeezes her hand in response to her own squeeze, pulling her closer. She welcomes the small bout of affection, a welcome distraction from her awkwardness.[break][break]

She blinks in surprise at Aramis' suggestion to play truth or dare. She distinctly remembered that being a popular game in her teen years, a childish and embarrassing game that almost always ended in someone's feelings getting hurt. She did suppose, however, that the majority of the group was mature enough to not ask stupid things.[break][break]

At the mention of truth or dare, a couple of new faces (evan fader, sunny clark) join their little huddle of friends, and she can't help but smile. It honestly felt nice to be surrounded by other smiling faces in the middle of a party.[break][break]

@altmight startles at the masked strangers introduction, and she giggles. However, it's time to get the game started, and it seems that Dawn had already decided to be the first victim of this game.[break][break]

"k-kyle..." he fumbles his response as sunny rushes to the commotion. kyle takes his time, however, arriving a bit later than sunny. the first thing he does to instate himself in the conversation was to drop a cheeky comment.

"that's a tame one," he comments on Stormy Silph 's question, offering her a friendly smile and a shrug should she acknowledge him.

the comment comes late, as with kyle. a plate of cakes were on his hand, refilled during the short period where he and sunny clark had split up from their earlier conversation. while he considered it, it wouldn't be nice for him to just ignore the girl's invitation and ghost her in the party even before the night has began.

Although her eyes rolled at the word play, Blake considered it an achievement. If he wasn't so lazy and careless, he'd probably take a lot more pleasure in boasting his prowess. Either way, the experience with Eden in most ways was fun, at least to the slacker. He knew that if he followed Eden, this shindig would get a whole helluva lot more fun.

"You too." Blake aimed his sight on his own pokemon and echoed Eden's words in a clever way. Using his palms to lift his weight, the slouch stumbled to stand up in one swing. Once off the ground, Blake used a single hand to arrange the hockey mask to fully cover his face. After settling himself, the trainer followed the fellow rocket up the stairs and towards somewhere else inside the house.

He grins like a cheshire cat behind the mask. "A good start now and then makes sure the heart keeps going." there's a lilt in his voice that makes it sound just ominous enough to be unsettling.

His attention lingers on @altmight long enough to answer his question "truth or dare is a game played by a group of people, one person choose between the two options. Choosing dare means someone challenges you to a dare, regardless of what it is you either commit or face some sort of punishment for chickening out." a flourish of his hands directs his attention to @thermopylae "This gentleman has suggested a money pot for example."

"Truth is much simpler, you may be asked any question, and are expected to answer truthfully regardless of what the question is. Or take the 5pd loss tonight to avoid answering."

Having answered the question his attention turns to the first round as it's already begun. A mild start, a classic beginning and he by no means blames them. Rarely do people dive head first into a game that can turn sour fast in the way this one does.

his question was given by Stormy Silph. how childish, adults playing a children's game. guess it's true what they say, you're never too old to have fun.

dawn would give his answer, "w-well, if i must be honest..." he was hesitant. shifty eyes and a bit of fidgeting showcased a man who was nervous. dawn wasn't sure how to answer, until, "i-i tend to find the human anatomy being displayed, in such a horrific manner, entertaining. horror movies are my guilty pleasure and i'm not ashamed to admit it!" he'd cover his eyes, turning away from the crowd. shame completely written all over his posture.

extending his hand toward the crowd, he'd cry, "s-someone else go, someone else!" he'd tighten the mask upon his face. too ashamed to show himself for a brief period.

Arthur listened to the masked person explain the rules of truth and dare, while doing so he ate the eyeball and nodded his head. “Ah, I see, I see, so basically you gotta not be a liar. Okay, okay.”

It sounded simple enough and sort of like fun, “Alright, now that this other masked fellow has gone I too would like the chance to play truth or dare.” but what would he pick? To tell the truth or to take a dare? Who knew?

“I would like to take a truth. That sounds easy enough after all.” that was right, they didn’t call him honest Abe for nothing.

He would have liked to have been introduced to them individually, but it seemed like as the group grew larger there would be less time. There was a man with a very interesting costume in a mask that he wanted to ask about, but given that the group was getting larger, he had little choice but to watch it unfold. Thankfully however, most of the people here knew the rules of the game, save Arthur, who had been gratefully explained to by some of the new friends who had joined.

"I didn't take you for such a macabre person Dawn." Aramis spoke as he observed Cadis respond. Stormy's question was a softball one, though he imagined it was because she did not want people to feel uncomfortable. "Alright, then Arthur," Aramis said, briefly thinking of a question, unfortunately his was going to be a little more personal. "When was the last time you were rejected and what happened?"

A blonde man clearly dressed as a vampire found himself rummaging through the crowd. The burn mark that typically adorned his face, marking him out in a crowd, was covered up today, as it usually had been. Even with this essentially being a masquerade, he was not safe to go out in public as he usually did, his antics with Team Rocket having branded him one of the League's most wanted men. Despite this, he could not resist going.

As Dorian moved, he would spot a familiar female in a plain looking red dress. Stormy Silph, the woman he tried to break, only to have his fun interrupted by that pesky Ranger. At the very least, he had his revenge against him during his escape from Verdanturf. But still, he felt his work with Stormy was incomplete. But this was not the time, or place for that. No, he would quietly continue to mingle with any guest he felt appropriate.

As Dorian continued to move through the crowd, he would eventually come across a familiar face. The pink-haired girl he met at his old bar in Slateport. The bar that, sadly, was taken away from him after the League reclaimed Slateport City in the aftermath of Silas' death. With a coy smile, Dorian walked over to the woman.

"Fancy seeing you here~", Dorian finally told the woman, a smile on his face. Though his features would be familiar to her, the lack of the large burn scar on his face might take her by surprise. But still, his voice and manner of speech would give him away to her.

[attr="class","spiral"] fernando's lack of enthusiasm for festivities is matched only by his perfect attendance. somehow, he finds himself thrust into the limelight of major events, taking part in more ways than one. he attributes it to the responsibility of holding a seat in several positions of power but he knows that's nothing more than an excuse. power is derived from those who control causality and the orchestrators of their own destiny steer the fate of others. silph is a provocateur with a central ideology — a proper pyroar care little for the opinion of mareep.

apathy reeks from the work put into his lackluster costume. evelyn silph would be horrified by the formal business attire tailored to the motif of a count's regal wear. black pressed slacks, a white ironed oxford button up, draped with a single breast pocket suit jacket. lenora gray put some of her own personal touches with the makeup and cape but ultimately it's nothing more than a fanged fernando wearing a few accessories to his usual event attire.

"how do i turn this off," fernando whispers more annoyed than anything else.

a fuzzy mist sets in within fernando's presence. the pink MISTY TERRAIN emanates from his very being, and at this point against his own will. his affinity for his abilities have been studied but far from mastered. turning it on had been trivial but turning it off, not so much. unamused with how well the self induced fog compliments his costume, fernando's grimace hides the fact that he's not alone in his approach. tapu fini remains unseen among the MISTY TERRAIN, observing its avatar and otherwise uncaring. fernando allows the legendary autonomy out of respect and a keen interest in staying in the pokemon's good will.

his date for the night is the only person to match him, in more ways than one.
