His identity and Avatar status were outed in an HNN article. He has since been identified as Rocket underboss.
- He was once known to the general public as Patrick Cavalli, though that alias was burned when his identity as Gavin Merlino was revealed. He later outed his own birth name, Cillian Quinn, after his brother Rowan defected from Rocket.
- As Cavalli, he undertook the gym challenge and accrued 7 badges. He has earned other badges since, though not under Cavalli's name.
- As Cavalli, he attained a high score during the Pokeathalon. Like others, the League entrusted him with a baby Zeraora. His is shiny!
- He was present during the three-day war, on the Mauville Warfront.
- He was present during Necrozma's attack on Sootopolis during dawn of the darkest day.
- Those who were present during the events of cyberchase conundrum would know that he was there and undisguised.
- During the descent of 99943 METENO, he fought alongside Rocket at Mt. Pyre. He later helped Rocket in the fight for the Seal Stone, and during Resurfaced Treasure.
- Though he once specialized in Steel-types and fossil Pokémon, he is now most known for his use of Shadow Pokemon.
[break][break] WHAT THE LEAGUE KNOWS[break][break] - Cavalli owned property on the outskirts of Fallarbor that was seized by the League when his identity was compromised. There was a basement in the house that did not show on the original floor plan but all traces of research and equipment had been gutted before the property was found.
- Alongside kyle lopez, noah faber, and Wendy Peterson, he helped to derail a train rigged with exploding Pokemon and apprehend the man responsible.
- As he was chosen as liaison between Rocket and dahlia goode in diplomatic immunity, a high rank in the organization is easily inferred. Update: He has been confirmed as a Rocket underboss.
- FERNANDO SILPH was mutilated by Gavin and Lulu Flint during his time in Rocket captivity. They also siphoned his avatar power using an unknown procedure.
- He nearly killed Isaac Merlo when Merlo defected from Rocket.
[break][break] WHAT ROCKET KNOWS[break][break] - Rocket were the first to know his true identity as Cillian Quinn.
- Those with standing in Rocket (current canons or former canons who were active post-Sootpolis takeover) know his current Sootopolis address, and that there is a hidden basement safehouse reserved for the brass in case of League occupation.
- He is old Rocket, having joined in his early 20s and trained in Kanto. He came to Hoenn when Silas Blackwell invaded.
- Formerly employed as one of Rocket's scientists. He kept his head down until Rocket disbanded and reformed under Cadis' leadership, after which time he began to make a name for himself outside of the labs.
- Promoted to underboss by former Rocket boss cadis von klaussner, he has continued to serve his position under Declan Walsh.
- He owns several shadow Pokemon, and it's widely understood that he studies them. He was gifted a shadow Lugia by Declan Walsh during Walsh's transfer of power. Those with enough clearance to access Rocket's intelligence reports on the 'Blackout of Slateport' would know that several of his shadow Pokémon were obtained during the event.
- After one of Rocket's machines restored its mental faculties, shadow Lugia granted him avatarship. His powers are only loosely understood.
- He is married to Rocket Beast Tempest Quinn.
- During the Littleroot Beauty Contest ('ROOT OF THE MATTER') he went undercover in the interest of helping Rocket destroy the tree.
- He helped establish Rocket's submarine HQ.
- He was present during the so-called Blackout of Slateport, and has filed a report for Rocket's intel department on the events that occurred within.
- Participated on the side of Rocket in excursions ROUTE 113A and MT. PYRE B, securing a small white tree and an ancient Yamask.
- He was instrumental in the planning for the Sootopolis takeover and present on the battlefront. He now helps maintain order and defenses in the city.
- Helped Rocket explore the Tree of Life in Geomancy.
- He took on the challenge of the tiered tearoom with other Rocket agents. At the end, Shadow Lugia learned Springtide Storm.
- He oversaw the Magma Procedure's execution on FERNANDO SILPH. An unknown being appeared in the aftermath, damaging the Rocket submarine before escaping with Silph.
[break] [break] PRIVATE[break][break] - He was born and raised in Circhester, Galar, where his parents still reside.
- Rocket's Head Scientist, Lulu Flint, is his little sister. Rocket defector Rowan Wrynn is his half-brother.
- He graduated from Hammerlocke University with a double degree in Pokémon biology and geology. He was accepted into a prestigious post-graduate program, but was kicked out due to 'ethical differences'. His parents used their wealth and influence to cover up the scandal, but he was disowned as a result.
- He fled Galar to Kanto and joined up with Rocket in Saffron.
- While in Kanto, he completed his PhD in paleontology.
- He was given a mysterious device containing the Unown report.
- I can't even put the YMCA raid into words. He ended up on the red route.
- After visiting Granite Cave following the instructions of a strange letter, he found himself trapped in another dimension. He was able to defeat his doppelganger and escape with the help of his Unown in wish.
- Father Winter strikes again, this time putting him through a timeline where he never rebelled against his family or Rocket's influence.[break]
