Another obstacle course. Were they all obstacle courses? Couldn't a single one of them just be like, swimming? Or some traditional sport? Then again, it might be less exciting to watch if it was. Downing her water bottle, her Slowbro was staring at her with a big dopey grin, as if it had already forgotten what it was here to do, likely with the move Amnesia. Regardless, Ruby loved it anyways, it was solidly tanky just as it was.

"Come on, let's get moving." It didn't quite seem to understand what was going on as they moved, but considering it didn't even budge or flinch by one of the obstacles smacking them straight in the face and kept smiling anyways, Ruby figured it would be just fine. He definitely deserved tons of praise after this, however.

He hasn't worked this hard in quite awhile, having basically become a hermit to avoid contact with people he wasn't as in much shape as he used to be. Sure he was working out again since he joined the rangers but he didn't train for a marathon. Though it was for the greater good, plus forcing himself to work with others. He could do it, he told himself, though being high up in the air he was having second thoughts about using Russet for this situation. Oh well too late, he figured as he followed behind his team mate. He was paired with someone from the previous round so that made him feel less anxious with people. [break][break]

as the duo made their way around the obstacle course kazimir and his wooloo were eager to prove that they couldn't be knocked down so easily. their strategy might be a little odd though, as the wooloo used cotton guard to fluff up its own body with more soft like fur as kazimir held it up to use it like a shield. thankfully anything that came swinging at them just bounced off the little sheep as kazimir carried him around through the course. yes it was probably inhumane as all heck but the wooloo was having the time of his life as he happily bleeted as he didn't feel much pain as he was hit from all around.

Faustus was expertly trained to protect the royal family at all costs. So, when it came to this obstacle course, some could say he was suited perfectly for it. As such, Remiel sauntered through it with hardly a care. When something inevitably came barreling his way, the Ampharos fluffed up its electrified fleece with a COTTON GUARD and placed itself between the object and the prince.

The tactic proved successful. After having managed to stand its ground, Remiel offered his partner a nod of approval before they continued onward.

It seemed like the rest of her allies were also hard at work on this obstacle course. A part of her was curious why it was team based in the first place when it wasn't say, a relay race of any kind. Perhaps there were some team-based strategies one could use to complete this challenge. Alas, it didn't seem like that was on any of their minds. As she had to jump from one platform to the other, she slipped and practically slammed into the back of her Slowbro.

"Oof!" Ruby cried out as she stumbled back to her feet. She would have apologized, but it looked like he hadn't even noticed. In fact, he was still just rather adorably waddling forwards, ignoring all the obstacles that struck him as if they didn't even exist. Amnesia was such an interesting move, and it was only now that Ruby was understanding why it was so useful. With an excited grin, she took his free hand and continued to run along.

Razz followed along the obstacles feeling a bit nervous on the jumping platforms, especially since there were quiet a few things being thrown at them. Thanks to the buffalo's flooof they were relatively safe so that was good as the young man kept ahead and stopped and turned when needed to avoid things. Though while they jumped to the next platform Razz failed to notice the ball coming at him to which Russet was quick to use Cotton Guard once more pushing his trainer slightly due to the extra fluff but it did stop the targets from getting him. Stupid blind spots, "Thanks buddy, we're really going to need to get you trimmed after this," he chuckled as the two moved along. [break][break]

"whoaaaaaaaaaaargh" both trainer and wooloo have become one as the sheep managed to expand his coat to its max fluffiness with the thanks to another cotton guard making him the side of a beach ball. now kazimir was wearing him as a sort of hat slash helmet to keep his head from being beaten by the swinging medicine balls that made up the neck of the course they found themselves on. seriously was this thing trying to knock their heads off?! they would never know because the fluff of his trusted partner kept him safe enough as he made a mad dash to the other end. they were going to come out on top one way or another and nothing was going to stop them!

"More... cushion!" Remiel demanded as he struggled to push back a large bundle of hay that had come crashing down their way. Faustus, too, had his shoulder up against the heavy object. With a huff and a growl, he poofed up his fleece even further with another COTTON GUARD before successfully managing to divert the hay bundle.

His defense was now as high as it could go. Now he simply had to endure the projectiles that came his way, and ensure that Remiel wasn't knocked off the stage either. The prince now seemed rather annoyed by it all, to be honest. How unruly...
