Bright smile. Strong, firm grip. Loud, boisterous laugh.

As first impressions went, the man had little in common with his predecessor. But— his personality did appear more in line with the proactive nature Terrakion had demonstrated in the past.

"Ahaha... I'm afraid I'm not much of a drill sergeant." The blonde lied as he breathed, his smile gentle and refreshing in a way that would've sent his past mentees running for the hills. "I've helped train others chosen by your patron and his brother in arms, in the past. That's probably why I was called."

His arm casually rested atop the hilt of his sword as he said this, the blonde's gaze slowly drawing away from Eduardo's gaze and down to his body.

He took a moment to step back and look Eddie over properly, smiling once again.

They'd not need to build a foundation from zero this time; there was more than enough to work with.

He raised his gaze back to the other man's eyes.

"Have you had time to try out your new abilities yet, Mr. Hisakawa?" He asked.

The elevator trembled slightly as it rapidly descended, lights flashing intermittently as the man inside ruminated on his new assignment.

He was curious about this one. Very curious.

What made him different from the others?

As the elevator came to a stop and the doors slid open, the blonde stepped out into a long hall, the League HQ's inner facilities presumably ahead.

He turned his gaze down to the temporary ID card issued to him as part of Sapphire, briefly turning it around in his grip as he approached the door.

He hadn't made the cut for AQUA. Not exactly shocking— he wasn't an avatar —but that didn't stop him from wondering if his performance in Mossdeep and Sootopolis had been perhaps found lackluster.

Wasn't it?

The doors slid open.

He found himself staring at one of the not so often utilized AQUA Training Chambers— a large, if somewhat barren room, intended for combat training and experimentation with one's newly gained abilities.

His gaze slowly moved over the large room, before inevitably finding him.

The first avatar of the swords of justice. The man that had succeeded where Melody Miro, MATIAS SILPH and kyle lopez seemed to have fallen short.

The blonde slapped on a smile, marching towards the man.

"Good day, Mr. Hisakawa!" He said as he drew near, holding out his hand towards him. "I am Gwyar Wledig, Gym Leader of Mossdeep. I've been assigned as one of your instructors."

They could employ extreme force.

"Let's secure the structural integrity of the cavern first." He told his partner, nodding back at Bryn as the Electrode moved to rest against the barrier.

His own pokemon spread out around them, creating constructs to secure the cavernous ceiling from collapse .

Around them, his pokemon spread out to continue mining as they reached the deepest parts of the cavern systems yet, the bounty of tera crystals along the walls plentiful.

They wouldn't be able to stay there for long— sygna suits or not, the concentration of tera energy around them was heavy. Hallucinations would be certain if they weren't quick.

The battle is not as long as it could've been.

It wasn't his first time dealing with the false Walsh, and Bryn was in tip top shape despite everything.

Once again, he sorts through the future Rocket Boss' belongings for anything. Nothing he hasn't seen before is found, however.

His eyes linger on the Celadon University Student ID for a moment, turning it around in his grasp before peering into the ID numbers.

His lids narrow, the world around them beginning to dissipate once again as he committed the information to memory. There was little there. But it'd have to do.

Finally, the world finished dissolving. And then, it faded from white, into a garden of Eden.

A familiar tree lumbered high above them, casting a vast, gentle shadow over them.

"Hoh? This one's new." He notes curiously, head cocking slightly. His stomach grumbles as pokemon around them draw near.

He ignores them, swiping his sword through the air instead to send a blade of wind to one of the massive fruits.

It falls, landing near them heavily.
